Asking the Boys to The Yule Ball

A/N: I know the Yule Ball isn’t something that happens during this time but I wanted to ask my boys out regardless. So we’re just gonna ignore that it doesn’t actually happen and pretend. i genuinely don’t understand what people see between the two of them as compared to other kakashi ships (kkgai, kkob, hell even kkrin is better)

yeah they interact in canon and there’s maybe a few scenes that i can see as being cool but they just don’t have the history that other kakashi ships do

Kks: I can't stand knowing you're in pain, and I can't get you help. If there was a way, I'd do anything. Gai: You do so much to help me already.... And I yelled at you Kks: I've screamed at you so much, that was pretty tame. I wish I was like you with things like this. Not great with what to say...... But I can listen.

Gai: I hate feeling so weak. I'm tired all the time, in constant pain, I can't even walk-..... I can tell tenten and the boys worry despite my efforts to appear positive. Kks: They're just not sure how to react. They know you hate being babied, but don't want to push you into hurting yourself. You hate being told you can't do something. They love you. You get stronger everyday, everyone is cheering you on.

Gai: I know it's irrational, but... I feel like you gave up the Hokage position to take care of me. Kks: Haa!? I'm grateful if anything. I'd be retired too if I could. That'd be amazing. I'm dreading just helping Tsunade but as long as you're by my side, I'll be fine. We're still equals, rivals, friends, partners

Gai: Even if I can't- Kks: /Always/ wil be, dickhead. Gai: You worry about me hurting myself? Kks: I know you think about it

Kks: We're the same in that regard Gai: I would never act on this, please believe me, these thoughts are rare........... Kks: It's ok, Gai. Gai: Sometimes I think i should have just died. I feel so out of place on the streets I used to feel so at home at. I never asked to live. I didn't plan to. I just don't know how to-...

Kks: I understand that. Though, dying didn't feel any better. Gai: I know I didn't fully pass like you did. I didn't see papa. Just for a moment, I wish I could have seen him.

Kks: As much as I'm sure he wants to see you again, It's too soon. Dai'd slap the shit out of you for wanting to waste your youth just to see him. Gai: [chuckle] probably. Kks: I have those thoughts less and less now, but they're still there. "why am I the one who survives?" "Burden" "Gai will come to his senses eventually"

Gai: FALSE!! None of my grief is with you! I love living here with you! My love for you only burns hotter each day! You're so lovely inside and out! Kks: Maa What did I do to deserve such praise from teh mouth of the hottest man in Konoha?? Gai: YOU STILL THINK I'M HOT?! Kks: YOU-! [CACKLE]

I really love the subtle details in this scene.

I always thought this part was meant to show Vox holding Val as if they just finished a handshake after succesfully filming a new movie. Business stuff. But upon examination it looks like something else.

When the scene starts he is just starting the holding, and he brings their hands close to his chest, cordial pose as an old timely gentleman, smiling and looking attentively at the other. Val is first neutral but quickly places his other arm in his hip, as if pleased or simply content.

Vox clearly only lowers their hands because he noticed Angel, as his eyes move in his direction before he changes his body language: He drops his smile and shoulders quickly, and only rises them back up after Val turns around, but now as if tense and looking at his peer unpleased. (When he was the one that alerted Val with his glance in Angel's direction...)

Then he zaps away, but in no moment he lets go of the moth's hand, and even seems to pull him just a tiny bit, because Val's hand opens entirely before he unmaterializes completely. (When there is the possibility he could just poof away without affecting Val's form in any way, like when in a sci-fi show you are holding something before it dissapears and your hand just stays bent as if still holding it, no changes to it itself!)

Then Val leaves, after he being the one looking unpleased now. And it's a bit striking to me, because he's always putting a smiling façade at Angel unless he's mad. (Idunno why he looks at him like that in this occasion. Maybe because he already got what he wanted from him that night? But that's probably another topic...)

I think it looks like a lot of effort for something that could have easily been shortened by making Vox just stare at Angel bothered as he zapped away, as if he just interrupted them in official matters, so I appreciate it.

What is #ExorJosh:

ExorJosh is an Until Dawn head canon/AU that I came up with that is more of a possible post-game scenario . It is continued after one of the canon ending where, Josh turns Wendigo. In this scenario, Josh gets captured by a team of private investigators that was put together by Josh’s rich parents who are desperate to save their last surviving child. Once he is captured, his parents put him through every possible medical treatments to ‘stabilize’ him thinking that he is suffering from some sort of a neurological illness in combination with an unknown viral infection that’s causing his physical deformity. This is because he already has a history of severe mental illness. However, when they run out of options with all the negative results, they resort to an exorcism. Not by a christian method but through a Native American method. They are able to come to this decision due to their high interest in, and past dealings with, Aboriginal culture(<-this is a canon) in combination with the word-by-word police report of Josh’s friends and from reading the dead-wendigo-hunter’s diary that was retrieved from the remains of the lodge basement.(by one of the investigators) While it’s not for sure whether the exorcism fully rid Josh of wendigo spirit, it appears to be a success and Josh regains his consciousness. However, he is extremely weak from the months of deterioration/treatments and the physical deformity is clearly evident around his mouth and right eyelid. He gets the basic treatments (skin-graft, etc) to re-construct his right eyelid and to close the wide gap on his left cheek but he refuses to get any more cosmetic surgeries out of the guilt of causing so much medical expenses to his parents. (Evident  from his in-game dialogue that Josh is not just a spoiled rich boy but financially conscious enough) Even after the exorcism, it takes a long time for Josh to recuperate physically and mentally and he has to stick to a specific diet and slew of medications.  Eventually, Josh’s mother contacts Chris and Chris is the first friend for Josh to re-unite with. Then, despite of Josh’s newly developed anxiety, Josh is able to re-unite with Sam as well with the support of Chris.
