Au Revior 2014! You taught me so much. Sure, you were filled with many good memories but I've never been more anxious to end a year. Last year brought its share of trials and pain. I truly learned the meaning of the old saying "you live and you learn." I had tried so hard up to this point to avoid life's inevitable regrets. I wanted a life free of them, but i realized that life's lessons are only learned when one makes mistakes. I've grown so much wiser this year as a result. I was asked during an interview if I could share a time in my life where I regretted a huge decision and how I would've changed it. Had I been asked that question a few months before, I would have had a completely different answer. My answer was simply "no" because I wouldn't have been the same person standing before you today. A person with wisdom that could only be acquired from life experience. I don't want to go into great detail but I will say that I am extremely thankful for the sustaining grace of God! I've never been more aware of God's hand on my life till now. I had a huge life interruption this year and in the beginning I didn't quite understand what was going on. Now I know that it was a divine intervention that steered me back in the right direction. I'm so grateful for His saving grace that didn't allow me to "do my own thing". I am so confidant that 2015 is going to be an amazing year! I've finally come to a place where I'm truly happy! I know life is going to have its share of ups and downs but I'm ready for it! I know I'm not alone!
