Craig Sheffer – the winner of Oscar and many more prestigious awards had tough times in his teens.
Craig Eric Sheffer was born in Pennsylvania in the USA on 23rd April 1960. Taurus rules him and holds American nationality. He is an American Actor and his all-time bedrest character Norway Maclean in "A river runs through it" stole everybody's heart away. Not to mention the movie was felicitated with 3 awards among which the highest prestigious award  Oscar is the one. Well, that's not the end, it received 11 other nominations too.
Craig and his older brother Hogan were raised alongside New York by their parents Rock Shaffer and mother Anba. His father was a prison guard and his mother a homemaker. His older brother Hogan was a screenwriter and produced many such compilations which fetched him Daytime Emmy Award for outstanding drama series Writing Team. However, he died at the age of 61 in 2019.
While Craig was in school he became good at acting. Ge did his schooling at York Suburban High School. His interest in acting made him participate in almost all the plays staged in the school. He even presented himself in a few local theatres. In 1978, after Craig Sheffer completed his matriculation, he took admission to East Stroudsburg State University to become passionate was short-lived. He backed from becoming a footballer after two years and got determined to become an actor.
Although, the actor had to struggle a lot in his lifetime. He didn't have any godfather here in the stardom world and had a tough time grabbing roles. He sold the newspaper to earn a penny and even spent nights sleeping over the staircase under the grand central terminal. He satisfied his hunger by feeding himself with just Spaghetti offered by the unification Church. But needless to mention, poor times can be overcome by high virtues in life. So did the notable figure Craig Sheffer.  As if today some 80 movies and several TV shows vow for Craig.

However with his charismatic personality standing as tall as 6'2" his net worth was over $1 million. He was diagnosed with cancer in 1991. Craig is a huge fan of football. However, he does not play it anymore but whenever it's on-air, he never misses it and several times even caught hold of live field matches. His other area of interest was photography and claimed that if not an actor then he would have been a professional photographer.
