This blog is where I post the products of an artistic challenge I gave myself: "The Make a Bad Comic Everyday Challenge" 'Make something everyday' type challenges are common, but even those can be too much pressure when I'm in the ruttiest of ruts I sometimes get into. So in this challenge I start every comic telling myself it's going to be bad. So follow every stupid, asinine, pretentious, or nonsensical urge that comes over me, and spend as little time possible correcting, or redoing mistakes.

As I do what I think will be the last of the posts I’ll make on my first night with this blog, I think I’ve decided how I’m going to organize things. I have a large back log and I don’t know the exact order I made these comics in. So while I’m going to move loosely from oldest to newest, I’m also going to slightly curate each post in some manner. So this post is all pages that were not completely silly, shit post non-ideas. These are some early ones where I was to some degree taking some part of the process seriously. A few I’m making a genuine attempt to capture an idea of feel, or I’m experimenting with media and technique and such.

A comic made on scraps of paper I found at work plus one piece of nice paper cut hastily to size and finished on when I got home.
A tale of love, monsters and angry hipsters in terrible clothing
#Badcomixchallenge#comix#jacobscomics#tentacles#tentacles are gonna be a theme#the things that are gonna be themes are not that original#you'll see

First round of nonsense bullshit from early in the challenge, though I unsure iff the order is correct. I’m an idiot and basically never date anything I mate. The first two are definitely the first two I made though and everything else is from the first week or so.
