let us take a moment and grieve for all the lives lost. so many thousand people have been murdered by the zionist entity in the last fifteen months. palestinians in gaza have lost too much, from friends and family to their homes and livelihood.
this ceasefire is not an end to our solidarity with gaza. we will all be here waiting and praying for palestine to be wholly liberated from the occupation and watch her people be happy and free.
in the meantime, please keep donating to palestinian fundraisers. it is essential to support families planning on rebuilding.
alaa is a mother of two young children. her fundraiser has been verified. i request you to help her by sharing and donating to her gofundme.
please donate here

Let's Help Ayah and Mohammed Raise 2K!
Mohammed, @mo7ammed90, and his wife, Ayah @ayo0osh, are a lovely couple who are caring for 3 young children, Ahmed (8), Osama (6), and Mira (4). Osama has received surgery for abdominal pains and is recovering, but the sky rocketing prices for a clean diet, medication, and treatments has been difficult for him. Mohammed have elderly parents, as well. They are chronically ill with diabetes, high blood pressure, and osteoporosis!
They have created a new fundraiser, so they have to start again from scratch! So please donate and share. Let's help them achieve the short-term goal of 2K! €730 have been raised at the writing of this. There is €1,270 left to go!
[Important Note: The fundraiser is #166 in the vetted spreadsheet by @/el-shab-hussein and @/nabulsi, but it has not been updated to reflect the new fundraiser, but @/nabulsi has made a post about it. Click here to read about it.]

Clarification about the ceasefire:
A ceasefire agreement has been announced in the Gaza Strip, but the start of implementation has not yet been determined. This announcement, although it reflects a desire to achieve calm, remains insufficient to stop the violence and suffering suffered by civilians. In the absence of specifying an exact timing for the start of implementing the ceasefire, military operations continue and human and material losses continue. The IDF’s insanity increased after the announcement and committed unspeakable, heinous massacres.
The ambiguity of the timing of implementation increases the state of tension and raises doubts about the seriousness of the parties concerned in adhering to the agreement. Civilians in conflict areas cannot wait endlessly in light of the danger of bombing and daily clashes. Moreover, the humanitarian situation remains at its worst, with the continuing urgent need for humanitarian aid, which they face difficulty in obtaining due to the continuing hostilities

Urgent: Help Mahmoud's 17 Family Members Escape from Frequent Bombings!
Hi everyone. Mahmoud (@mahmoudfamilyy) is trying to raise fund to evacuate 17 members of his family (including no fewer than 5 children!), and he has asked me to share his story.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mahmoud found out the bombing of her sister Tasnim’s husband’s house, the house his entire family was staying at, on the news. He could not contact his family for 3 days after that. He knew that several people had died and several more injured, but he did not know whom among his family survived, and who didn’t.
When he finally managed to reach them, he found out that a close relative, named Alaa, had been killed, along with her children: Ahmed and baby Iman who was not even one month old yet. Alaa was a beloved member of their family. She was optimistic and tried hard to cheer everyone else up. For the longest time, Alaa believed that the world would not turn away from their suffering and the war would end soon. But an airstrike took her and her children’s lives, the bombing continued, and the world remains indifferent.
Mahmoud’s sister Tasnim, was severely injured in the bombing. The attack happened while the family was sleeping, and Tasnim woke up to find her body injured and broken, bleeding heavily with bones sticking out of her leg. She found her 6-month-old daughter under the rubble, severely injured, but thankfully still alive. Tasnim's leg was fractured in multiple places, so severely injured that they all thought it had to be amputated. Tasnim’s husband and her 6-month-old daughter, her father-in-law, her brothers-in-law and Alaa’s husband were all severely injured by the bombing.
A few days later, Mahmoud’s family narrowly survived a second bombing on the street, as the people behind them, too slow to escape from the attack, were killed. They hid in their car, watching the plane flying above dropping bombs, praying that it would not target their car.
Given Tasnim and her 6-month-old daughter’s severe injuries, the family used a lot of money and exhausted all means to get them out of Gaza to receive the essential medical treatment they require. While Tasnim and her youngest daughter managed to evacuate, the rest of Mahmoud’s 17 family members, including Tasnim’s 2-year-old daughter who sustained first degree burns from the bombing, are still trapped in Gaza.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mahmoud’s 17 family members (including no fewer than 5 children!) risk being killed and injured from the frequent airstrikes every day. They have narrowly escaped death no fewer than 5 times. On 31 August, the IOF dropped bombs on the tent next to theirs, killing 9 young men and women, and Mahmoud’s family woke up to their broken bodies.
Look at the photos Mahmoud sent me. These children, they are all trapped in Gaza where bombs may fall on them anytime. Please do not look away. Please help Mahmoud’s 17 family members reach safety!!
Mahmoud’s campaign is vetted by association. Mahmoud is @hazempalestine's friend, see post here for proof. @hazempalestine is vetted by @/el-shab-hussein and is listed as #281 on the verified fundraiser list by @/el-shab-hussein and @/nabulsi.
I’ve been trying to boost Hazem’s campaign, but we are both worried about Mahmoud’s campaign as donations are coming in really slowly for him. I hope you will support Mahmoud’s campaign and help him evacuate his 17 family members as well!
Extremely Low Funds! As of 3 September, Only $147 CAD raised of $80,000 goal! Last donation was 19 hours ago!!!
Please follow Mahmoud on @mahmoudfamilyy to get updates on his family's situation! And also, please, please, share/reblog, and donate if you can! Every donation helps!!

Amidst all the images coming out of palestine of death and destruction created by the zionist occupation, i think it is important that we take a moment to remember palestine as it was- seen and captured through the eyes of talented photographers like Shahed @shahednhall and remember exactly what was senselessly lost in the past few months.
This is Al-Azhar university, where Shahed used to study. She was an exemplary student, and used to get regularly invited by her teachers to give lectures.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Since the university was bombed and destroyed by the IOF, all she has left are these pictures. Even through all the violence and death around her though, she still makes sure to keep up with her studies through the university's online programme.
This is a shop Shahed had visited only some time before october. She told me it was run by an artist who painted these beautiful home items, and engraved them by hand with customers names. Shahed had photographed them because they were so eye-catching and beautiful, and had sent the woman her photos so she could use them to promote the shop.
Tumblr media
Shahed has told me this shop isnt there any more. She is currently trying to get in touch with the woman who used to run this shop again, but shahed doesn't know if she is even alive or not.
Shahed has an eye for beauty in all things, and it shows in her work and in conversation. It has taken on a different meaning now when so much of everything she knows has been stolen by the occupation from her and other palestinians like her.
In her own words:
"As you know, I like to photograph a lot, everyone liked my photography. I was filming everything because a memory can never come back again. This sentence is not understood by many. I am happy because I photograph everything."
What had been a hobby of collecting moments for her has now become something of an archive of all the things in Palestine that have been lost to the zionist occupation.
Shahed's outlook on her photography tends to colour our conversation as well. She finds it is more productive to talk to me about her hope for a better future, rather than all the bleakness around her right now.
"Yes, because I see inside every picture of new hope, I feel a great motivation that I will survive to see that life is more beautiful than what I live at the moment. I seek to return to a life that is more beautiful than the one we live now, a very difficult life because it has turned black and white."
I don't know how anyone can look at her photos and think of anything but hope
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The mainstream media in the west and elsewhere can lie all they like- but we will know always that palestine was and is a land full of beautiful people. Never forget that the death, illness and destruction in palestine today was something imposed upon them by the colonizers, and has been imposed upon them for decades.
Shahed doesn't like to share images of misery with me, but please remember that she and her family are suffering right now. The happy children in the pictures, her little sisters, are suffering from severe hepatitis and are no longer recieving treatment due to overcrowding at what hospitals are left in gaza. Shahed herself has been weak and ill for days, narrowly surviving multiple massacres in just the past few days while trying to get food for her family. They all got displaced just last week due to the intense bombing in khan younis, and in doing so have lost precious funds that could have gone into food and clean water. They are starving.
Shahed is only 21 years old but the responsibility of taking care of all 17 of her family members rests solely on her shoulders.
TIME IS RUNNING OUT. PLEASE HELP SHAHED EVACUATE HER FAMILY TO SAFETY.
She has only gotten $47k/80k, and she needs to get to $50k within this week.
This gfm was verified and appears on hussein @/el-shab-hussein and nairuz @/nabulsi list of vetted fundraisers (#224) so please dont hesitate to donate whatever you can, and please keep sharing!!!
Take this as a call to action, please repost her her fundraiser in your discord servers, in your whatsapp groups. Repost her photgraphy and share her story on whatever social media you have reach, so that people can help because i really cant get her to her goal in time alone.

Help Save Wafaa's Niece Malak
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hi everyone, as you know Shaima and Muhammad are Wafaa's (@wafans-blog) sister and brother, who desperately hope to evacuate their youngest children with Wafaa's children as soon as the border crossing opens. They are verified by @el-shab-hussein's spreadsheet as family number 260.
Yesterday, Shaima and Muhammad's campaign was extremely slow, at times there would be hours of stagnation with no donations. Let's help their family get to $5,000 by the end of day today, so that they could secure the evacuation funds for Shaima's 8 year old daughter, Malak.
Malak loved drawing. Since she was little, she has had an extremely deep connection to art. She wasn't drawn to toys, and would never ask Shaima to buy any for her. Instead, she asked for art supplies. Slowly after years, she became ambitious about drawing nature and even her friends. She excelled at this in school, and began drawing about Palestine and famous things in Palestine. Wafaa says she is a beautiful child with a wonderful smile that could light up the room.
Malak hopes to become an artist when she grows up and experiment with more art media, but now all she can do is waking up every morning to wait in line for hours to get enough water for her family. Please help secure Malak's evaucation fee so that she could reunite with her aunt Wafaa, and so she could resume drawing again.
We have not had a donation in 25 minutes. The campaign is severely stagnating, please help us get to $5,000 by the end of day, so that we can secure Malak's evacuation registration fee alongside Salem, her newborn cousin.
Currently $4,085 of the $5,000 daily goal as of July 31 morning, that's $915 more to raise!
Please donate what you can!! @terroristiraqi was kind to host a crocheted sweater raffle, enter before August 4 for a chance to win this handmade sweater for a $5 donation minimum. Details here

Hey guys, Bilal ( @bilal-salah0 ) reached out to me recently to share his story with you guys so take a moment to read through this
Please pay attention, dont scroll away
Tumblr media
Bilal Salah is a 22 year old who left his beloved city behind and moved to Germany a few months before to better support his family financially and to achieve his hopes and dreams away from the violence at home.
But since the genocide began and with no permanent ceasefire in sight, he has been living in constant fear over the safety of his family of 18 members that he had to leave behind in Gaza. He has been tirelessly fundraising to evacuate them to safety since.
During the past few months his family has faced a lot of difficulties. They have been constantly displaced time and time again, fleeing from the bombardment by the IOF ever since the family home, that had just finished construction right before last october, had been demolished.
I cannot even imagine how difficult every shift must have been with 8 children to care for, including 3 newborn babies.
Tumblr media
They are now living in a tent in a refugee camp in Rafah city where basic amenities are denied to them.
In his own words:
They have to strive and risk their lives every day to provide the bare minimum of food and water for everyone, and even that is not always available. Due to the siege imposed on Gaza the markets are almost entirely empty, prices are rocketing, and little to no humanitarian aid is allowed to enter the strip.
In addition to food and water scarcity, the healthcare system in Rafah, has almost entirely collapsed. As a result, my family’s health, already at risk due to malnutrition, poor hygiene, little access to sanitation and the harsh weather conditions in the tent, is now also in serious peril because of the shortage of medicines and medical care.
The three newborns face the same threats, if not greater ones; as baby essentials including formula are barely available. Moreover, the only medical assistance they and their mothers have access to is that of an overcrowded maternity clinic or a field hospital with limited capabilities and equipment.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is urgent, and they desperately need the funds. I urge you to visit bilal's blog as well as his gfm page and to read his story.
Bilal and his family need your support during this difficult time, so please dont look away.
July 11th: €53,694 raised of €70,000 target
This gfm is verified and appears on nairuz @/nabulsi and hussein @/el-shab-huasein's list of vetted fundraisers (#136) so please dont hesitate to share and donate.
Please follow bilal's blog for direct updates! They're nearing the final stretch, so please help them out any way you can!

Please donate and share this link for the Eleyan family, consisting of 16 members. Their homes in Beit Lahia were demolished, and the father of the family passed away during the displacement. They have been living in scattered tents in the north, central, and south of the Gaza Strip for nine months. Help their children and support them.

🇵🇸 save family lost their home ,dreams and everything in Gaza 🇵🇸
This is my home before the war and after the war how it became💔💔💔
Before: After:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We have been through many wars before, but this war was not like the ones before it. Our lives were turned upside down. We became displaced from one place to another. We are the Anas family, residents of northern Gaza, specifically in the Shujaiya area. In the first week of the war, we fled our home because everyone considered our home to be in a dangerous area. We moved to the Rimal area, specifically in the middle of Gaza. There, we received the news that our home, which contained all our beautiful memories, was bombed. Suddenly, it was gone!!! Just thinking that your home, which you worked hard on and built from scratch and took a lot of your life, was gone in less than a second ! After a while, we left the sands to the Al-Zawaida area because of the heavy shelling. We stayed there for about two weeks, and then the terrorist army asked us to go to Rafah. We actually fled for the fourth time to Rafah and stayed there for two months, some of the most difficult days of our lives, as there was no way or means to live a normal life. 😔😔 After that, because of the invasion of Rafah, we moved to Deir al-Balah. Now, we are in very difficult and oppressive circumstances.
We are asking you with all shame to support and stand by us in these difficult circumstances that everyone knows because we lost our home, our work and any stable source of income. Thank you all.
🔗 🔗 Gofundme link for donations 👇👇👇👇🔗 🔗
Please, we are in dire need of you and your support. If you cannot donate, you can share☹️❤️🥹
Even $5 will make a big difference and save us!
