at the end of January I got a livestream ticket for the Real Housewives parody musical mostly because I wanted to support Sam Johnides and Tony Gonzalez (who wrote the music) and because Chanse McCrary was in it. And I am so glad I did, because I absolutely loved it. (who do I need to bribe to get a cast album???)

Andy Cohen and Karen Tina wound up being my favorite characters, so here are some sketches of them! hopefully I'll get around to drawing the rest of the cast at some point, lol.

My cardboard M.A.I.A. lives right to the left of my computer, and I was looking at her today after doing some homework when I got a sudden dose of inspiration and decided to experiment in clip studio. I absolutely adore Margaret and Dakkar so I had to try capturing this part of their reunion. I have so many feelings about the royal ipomoea/moon/tide siblings—and questions, so many questions! I'm very excited to see more of their relationship in future episodes.

I had been dreaming of this since we first heard Kal mention his name in TGOA, and Dylan absolutely killed it. SO excited to hear Itzal again in future episodes. worst dad in the cosmos. <3

I don't have the best motivation when it comes to studying anatomy and whatnot so I thought I'd try making it more fun and interesting by practicing poses and looking at fashion at the same time. (And drawing my favorite characters, of course.) The pose is from Adorkastock and I found the dress on the Met's costume archive!

I actually drew this before Searcher came out and was waiting to post it until I had a small batch of them, but I'm having some art troubles at the moment and wanted to post something fun in the meantime. :]

it's that time again—new pulp episode means it's time to learn how to draw new characters! so here are a few scribbles I managed to do yesterday. :]

I love Dakkar and Addison so much already and I'm excited to practice drawing them a lot more later. Oh, and I know Matt mentioned the idea of Top being a greyhound during the After-Pulp, but my heart has already decided he's one of those dogs with the extra furry muzzles, lol.

had fun experimenting with this one, mostly just vibing. i tried using a textured blending brush for the first time, and I also figured out how to use symmetry rulers! 😀👍

Tried to do some quick & easy drawings for the @pulpmusicalsfortnight2024 roleswap prompt and I mostly succeeded? I did NOT intend to do this much rendering (or any, tbh) but I only spent a couple days on these and I had a lot of fun!

In my mind, radiant!Kal is still a mischievous scamp who doesn't seem to take anything seriously right up until there really isn't time for levity, while foggy!Sia is always focused and solemn. She definitely doesn't fool around and play games like Kal does in canon. (She'd probably be way deadlier, tbh... 😬)

Actor AUs are fun so we decided to go in that direction for @pulpmusicalsfortnight2024's modern AU prompt! pretty much everything for this AU exists only as ideas on discord but I think all the necessary context for this art is: 1.) Pulp Musicals is a web series, 2.) Benjamin & John are twins, and 3.) Charles goes by Chuck and plays the most despicable character while being a cinnamon roll.
