Saturday mornings are for coffee, Jesus, and relaxing. At least that's how my Saturday mornings look. 😉 How do your Saturday mornings usually look?

The Lord has been stirring in my spirit something fierce lately, and it leaves me in awe. How the God of the universe, the Great I Am, would look upon me and say, "I am going to use her to change the world for my Kingdom," blows my mind. I am done with shying away from being the Mighty Warrior I am destined to be! May all that is within me praise the Lord and bring Him glory! Get ready, friends! Big things are coming! Jesus is shaking things up!

#Repost @a.wrightfit with @repostapp. ・・・ Happy #fitfaithfriday everyone!! I'm so pleased to introduce you all to @jaclyneturner, Fit & Faith coach of a company she created called EncourageFit! The link to my blog is in my bio 👆🏼👌🏼 I loved what she shared in my blog feature and email today and especially loved this quote. "The number one thing I see women struggling with today is self-worth. Women today are having a hard time seeing their worth and value, and in turn they begin misplacing their identity in everything by Jesus." 🙌🏼🙏🏼🙌🏼🙏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. Isn't that soooo good and soooo true?! Thanks @jaclyneturner for the great interview and for just being a wonderful, courageous, inspiration in this earth! Look forward to working with you more!

Some mornings are tougher than others to get out of bed, and this morning was one of them. I didn't feel like working out. I felt like sleeping in. I knew if if I didn't change my mindset, I would quickly talk myself out of working out. So, I remembered that it's a privilege to be able to workout. I CAN workout. There are some people who can't do the things my body can do. There are some people who would give anything to be able to get up and do a workout like I do. So, instead of thinking on how I FELt , I started thinking on what I COULD do. I CAN workout, so I WILL choose to do so for as long as my body is able. How can I help you switch your mindset?

Willful obedience trumps forced obedience every time. When we do things because we feel that we HAVE TO do them, it robs us of experiencing any joy that comes from our act of obedience. But when we do things because we WANT TO do them, we are filled with unspeakable joy! Whether it's your walk with Jesus, your marriage, your health and fitness journey, or your job, if you choose willful obedience over forced obedience, you will experience joy every time. How will you choose willful obedience today?

Who else has been riding the STRUGGLE BUS lately? When it comes to SWEET TREATS, I find myself riding as a passenger on the struggle bus more times than I care to admit. But instead of trying to convince you that I have my sweet tooth under control 100%, I am sharing the truth. I struggle with it DAILY. If there are cookies, cake, pie, ice cream, or any other sweet treats around, I will more than likely lose all self-control. And so when I baked chocolate chip cookies over the weekend and had THREE containers left, I knew it was not going to be a pretty situation for me. So I did what I had to do and whipped up a batch of my No-Bake Coffee Bites to indulge in, instead. For those of you who ride the sweet tooth struggle bus, this is a recipe for you: 1 scoop coffee protein powder (I use Cafe Latte Shakeology for a dose of superfoods power) 1 c oats 1/3 c honey 3 TBS nut butter of choice (Sunbutter could be used as well) Enjoy Life Foods mini dark chocolate chips (you decide on the amount 😉) Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Add a bit of water if the mix is too dry. Roll into bite-sized balls, place in freezer for about 20-30 minutes, and ENJOY!

Our God is a God who calls things that are not as though they were! His promises are true! His love never fails. And He is forever faithful. If He has called you to something, it will come to pass. If He has spoken a promise to you, it will happen. Don't let what appears to be in the natural cloud your vision to what is taking place in the supernatural. "So go ahead and praise Jesus for the break-through before the break-through! Go ahead and worship God for the blessing before you receive the blessing! Go on and thank Him for the provision before it even makes its way to you! Go ahead and adore your Savior for the miracle before you even experience it!" (Daring Faith)

This quote speaks so much truth to me tonight. In my business I meet some amazing people that invite me to be part of their lives and their journeys. And also in my business some of those people choose to walk away, and that hurts. I won't even try to sugar coat the fact that I am probably one of the most sensitive people on the planet. I get my feelings hurt easily. I can take things too personally. I feel deeply. And sometimes it can get the best of me. But as this quote reminds me, sometimes I can get fixated on what I lack and forget about what I actually do have. I have an incredible husband who loves and supports me. I have kids who love me and know I would go to the ends of the earth for them. I have the most fabulous BFFs anyone could ask for. I have an amazing group of challengers right now who are CRUSHING it in my February Fit Life Group. And I have a God who calls things that aren't as though they were! The blessings in my life far out weigh the things that hurt my feelings. And for that I will praise God and be thankful!

Life brings moments of joy and moments of hurt. None of us are exempt from that. It's what we do with the moments that help shape us into who we are. Each day is an opportunity to grow, to improve, to be better than we were the day before. The choice is our's. We can be a victim or we can be more than a conqueror. Are you surrounding yourself with people who help you be more than a conqueror? If you like being surrounded by people like that and you like helping people become more than conquerors, I want to invite you to a webinar tonight at 9 pm EST. To those of you who comment below, I will send you the link to the webinar.

We all have times when we look for the shortcuts in life. We ask Siri for the shortest route to our detonation. We look for shortcuts to get the job done. We look for shortcuts in learning. And we often look for shortcuts when it comes to our health. Well I am here to tell you that shortcuts don't always benefit us, especially when it comes to our health. Diet pills may help us drop a few pounds but they put added stress on our hearts which could lead to complications. Not eating in order to lose weight sends our bodies into starvation mode which puts added stress on our bodies, and in turn we begin to deplete in nutrients. It's always better to choose the next step over the shortcut. It may be hard. It be painful. But in the end, it will be worth it and you will come out better for it. Jesus said that we would have hardships in this world but to have hope because He has overcome the world. And I believe this can apply to our health, too. Take heart and have hope. Keep moving forward one next step at a time. My next online Fit Life group starts March 1st! I would love to help you take the next step forward, so leave your email below or personally message me if you would like more details! P.S.--Give this move from Hammer Conditioning a try for a total body burn!

So...let me tell you about my STRUGGLE BUS.... I LOVE ALL THINGS SUGAR!!! 🙈 Hi, I am Jaclyn, and I am a sugarholic. ✋🏼 I made chocolate chip cookies and white chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies over the weekend, and let's just say the Cookie Monster and I could be BFF's. And today I had THREE containers of those cookies staring me in the face. All. Day. I wanted one so bad. I even told myself at one time, "you can have just one. Just one will be okay." Then I remembered I can never only have just one. Who was I trying fool? And I thought about the ladies in my online accountability group. So, I made myself a homemade trail mix of dried cranberries, raisins, raw peanuts, and Enjoy Life Foods mini dark chocolate chips. Was it what I wanted? Nope. Was it a better choice than the cookies? Yep. I want to make this a lifestyle, not something I just do for a little bit until I no longer feel like it. I want to honor God with the choices I make in my life, including what I do with my body. I want to be around for my family, and I can't do that if I only do what I feel like doing. I want to be the best wife and mom I can be, and that includes taking care of myself. "Everything is permitted, but everything isn't beneficial. Everything is permitted, but everything doesn't build others up." ~1 Corinthians 10:23 If you ride the STRUGGLE BUS like I do and need some eyes support, I am here for you. I want to help you! So reach out to me today, and let's chat!

Do you ever read something and have to pause for a minute because your mind is totally BLOWN? I am reading Live, Love, Lead by Brian Houston (pastor of Hillsong Church) and God is speaking to me through every chapter. Today this quote made me pause and go, "WHOA!" "If you we only live according to our own authority and influence, then we're always going to run up against our limitations." Did it make you say, "WHOA," too? Think about it....we can't grow any higher than our current state if we are only relying on ourselves. I don't know about you, but I am less than on point a lot of the times, so if I relied solely on my own authority and influence to help me grow, I would be like a bump on a log (not going anywhere). I have DREAMS I want to see become REALITY. I have GOALS I want to ACHIEVE. I have PEOPLE I want SERVE. I have a LIFE to LIVE! So relying solely on myself is simply NOT an option. Don't get stuck by relying on your own authority and influence. GROW by first relying on JESUS and then by surrounding yourself with JESUS-minded people. What are you currently reading or listening to that is helping you grow?

I am a firm believer that our physical, spiritual, and mental health all intertwine. You can't focus on one area and neglect the other areas or else something will still be lacking. I think sometimes we can get so caught up in the physical part of our transformation (losing weight, having a particular body type, being able to wear certain things) that we lose sight of what the center of our transformation should ALWAYS be. JESUS I didn't always see it this way, and I think that is why I struggled for years until I finally awakened to the reality that when I try to take my transformation into my own hands, things get messy. But when I have Jesus as the center of my transformation, as He should be, things fall in place. I feel better. I feel stronger. I feel more confident. And I allow Him to shine in and through me. Instead of centering your transformation around the scale today, try centering it around Jesus and see what a breath of fresh air it is.
