dnd idea where its a magic user who accidentally put on a cursed bracelet so they can only use 1st level spells and is so embarrassed about the it that they pretend to be a ranger.

then when a NPC is like "dude you suck! can't even aim" (which of course you can't because your stats are for a sorcerer, not a ranger) you shoot them with a 'poison arrow" but its really just poison spray the spell
