Magical healing and comfort, but not just healing magic
A character with fire/heat powers massaging a knotted muscle with hot hands, being able to dig in nice and deep as the warmth relaxes the area
A character with ice/cold powers carding their fingers through someone's hair, soothing a headache
A character with hypnotic powers lulling someone into a trance and clearing their mind, easing their anxieties so they can hopefully get some sleep
A character with plant magic keeping a bouquet fresh and vibrant by their friend's bedside, knowing the colors will at the very least cheer them up and give them something beautiful to look at
A character with water magic combining it with a soft cloth washing away tears, sweat, or blood from another character's face
A character with electricity magic frantically grabbing someone near-death and shocking them, refusing to move until they hear their heart leap back to life and pulse under their hands

A cranky prop makes a great blooper from “The City on the Edge of Forever”. This evidently wasn’t the first time it sparked on its own.
Bill’s head jerks toward the panel while Leonard’s head turns ever so slowly. And it’s always great when even the behind the camera crew laughs.

I'm currently reading The Autobiography of James T. Kirk and it has pictures!
This looks like a family photo tbh.
This is so cute. I love Edith.
A letter to David that Kirk never sent. He mentions that kid in A Piece of The Action. Sorry it's kind of blurry.
Kirk's travel pass for his trip to Tarsus IV.
A picture of Carol Marcus and David when he was two and the camping trip in The Final Frontier.

Beach episode of TOS
Spock: at first he’s just looming over the tide pools in awe of the temporary microbiomes. Then he gets roped into a beach volleyball competition, gets super competitive, wins, then after like 5 seconds of glory goes back to the tide pools
Jim: first lightheartedly flirts with others, then spends most of the day trying to pull himself away to look at tidal pools with Spock. He also joins the tournament, teamed up with Spock, then the two slip off to look at tide pools after their victory
Uhura: she doesn’t get up for any of her drinks and sunbathes off and on for a bit. She has a cute purple floral swim cap that matches her swim suit, and she tooooaaaatly isn’t playing mermaids with Chapel when they go off into the water. She played volleyball, but wasn’t putting her life on the line like a certain Vulcan human duo
McCoy: greased up with sunscreen (melanomas no joke, Jim) and sipping drinks all day. He very anxiously watches the volleyball game and plays ref
Christine: she actually loves volleyball but can get really competitive over it so played it cool. She made sure to partner with someone to keep her lighthearted (Sulu) so when they lost it didn’t sting that much. Also, more time for her and Uhura to chit chat and splash around
Scotty: practically one with the ocean, he’s built for ship heat not beach heat. Also, turns out there’s plenty of floatable flasks. Bones found out about this, and strapped him into a life vest.
Sulu: flirting on the beach just like Jim, but doesn’t pump the breaks. He’s over the moon for a chance to team up with Chapel, but he’s not really built for sports. Afterwards he just fucks around with Chekov (he threw a crab at him)
Chekov: nursing popsicles and slushees the whole time in the shade. He’s not a strong swimmer but after borrowing Scotty’s life vest, shenanigans ensue with Sulu

I gotta talk about the casual intimacy of this moment for a sec. The way Kirk sits down on the bed, like he's sat down on a bed he and Spock have shared countless times before, his arm literally resting against Spock's body/hip as a gentle way to rouse him. And then the way Spock's hand grabs him then moves up his arm like he knows it's Jim before he even sees it's him. This blind connection. This touching and untouched bond. This unshakeable thing.
