adding onto this: some people are just hypocrites.

remember the terrifier 3 drama where people got mad over children dying in the movie? why is it that considered bad yet they can happily watch it or stranger things and they have similar tropes?

to me, if you hate one trope, then it should apply to anything else that shares that said trope. it shouldn't be like "WELL I DONT LIKE THIS MOVIE SO EVERY TROPE THEY USE IS BAD >:CCCC"
