i hate how you get desensitized to the cool stuff in your WIP if you've been writing it for a long time so when you read back over it you're like "this isn't as cool as i thought :(" but it still is! you just read it too many times

This evening, Rep. Al Green of Texas was forcibly removed from the joint session of Congress by the sergeant-at-arms for standing up and yelling “You have no mandate to cut Medicaid.” during the president’s address.

“He is a person who has consistently used incivility against civility,” Green said. 

“I’m willing to suffer whatever punishment is available to me,” he continued. “I didn’t say to anyone, ‘Don’t punish me.’ I’ve said I’ll accept the punishment, but it’s worth it to let people know that there are some of us who are going to stand up against this president’s desire to cut Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security.”

“This is about the people who are being punished by virtue of losing their health care,” he added. “This is the richest country in the world, and we have people who don’t have good health care.” (Per HuffPost)

Five things that make me happy:

A warm bed in the early morning, specifically waking up and being able to stay there until I'm ready to get up

Magic tricks - (aka I had an old man come through my line the other day at work, didn't even find what he needed, but he pulled a quarter of his pocket and at 8am in the morning, he made me smile)(I would fight a war if he told me to)

that feeling of inspiration returning after a long burnout period; there's nothing better than feeling the ground appear under your feet after feeling like you've lost it

a good cup of tea (i can't ever get it right, there's either not enough sugar or the flavor is off)

absolutely love brain rot games (Minecraft, Roblox, Webfishing, The Sims) where I can just turn off and enjoy, but also love brain active games (Once Human, Marvel Rivals, The Forest/Sons.)

I also need more gaming friends, so if you play any of those games, message mee so I can add you and be mutuals
