I completely forgot this was in my drafts oh my god this was meant to be posted so long ago but HAP BURF HAPPY BURFY @izatoonist you're amazing!! Me and my best friend from college brainstormed a character together and this was kinda the outcome, at least my interpretation. This is Nauta!! So for my friend's birthday I thought what better a present than to draw the character we thought up together. Don't worry this actually got to my friend on their borthday I just forgot to post anything about it cause of everything going on.

If you like Over the Garden Wall and Night in the Woods, this is the perfect graphic novel oneshot for you! My sib recommended it and it's got this nice mix of spookiness, existential dread, and humor, plus JJ Grandville-esque talking animals in Victorian outfits!

I loved the art I had to make fanart! Wished I got this out before Christmas music started playing, but I have just not been doing well lately.

The Halloween special ever. Tried getting the watercolor texture from the books. My friends and I had a little movie night Halloween weekend and watched both Scary Godmother movies!

I don't care Halloween is over, it's still Halloween in my heart and I don't want to think about Christmas at least for another month. My job is literally killing me and I'm just clinging to the small crumbs of joy. I wanted to paint a realistic mouth on a pumpkin but just have not had time so it's just a normal pumpkin. 😔

Scary Godmother and Hannah's relationship means so much to me. They're so sweet! Also I watched a lore video about SG and apparently she's like half fairy which explains the wings and she was abandoned as a baby??? 😭 I like the idea of Hannah growing up to be Scary's witch apprentice. Her style evolves to be a blend of witch- and fairycore, and she loves broom riding lessons with her godmother.

Starting off with Artfight attacks for this year!

Wasn't able to get as much done this time, but I really enjoyed the themes! Would've picked Seafoam but I've been hyperfixating on Star Wars lately. Since I was Team Stardust, I incorporated stars and space in each illustration.

(I haven't put a noise filter on these, but I think I'll start doing so from here on out both on here and Instagram to ward off AI)
