There’s something very nice about remembering fics you read years ago. Maybe you remember the plot perfectly, maybe the rest of the fic is only a blur aside from a handful of vivid scenes, but you remember the way it made you feel. And sometimes you dredge up the memory - the premise or a favourite scene or a few lines that stayed with you -  and your heart aches a little bit, the way it does when you think about books you enjoyed as a child.

To all the fanfiction writers out there: your work is beautiful and meaningful and it leaves an impact. I promise.

Klaine Summer Bingo: June - August 2023

We are pleased to announce the Klaine Fanfiction Bingo, a new way to celebrate and promote those stories completed in the past five years that readers love. Please reblog this post so that we can reach out to everyone in our fandom.

THE BINGO CARD

Add Klaine Fanfics to your Bingo Card that were completed after May 30, 2018 (i.e. within the last five years) and posted to AO3. The Bingo card has the following categories:

Debut Fanfic - the author completed posting after May 30 2018 and it was their first Klaine fanfic.

Page-turning Fanfic that made you stay up past your bedtime.

Fanfic that made you reach for a box of tissues.

Fanfic where one has an unusual occupation.

Wild Card - any fanfic you wish to highlight.

Fanfic set during the summer.

Fanfic is written for a challenge. For example, it could be the Advent Challenge, the Klaine Valentine's Challenge, or one of the many hosted by @the-lima-bean.

Fanfic that made you laugh out loud.

Fanfic that you enjoyed using a genre/trope that you don't normally read.

HOW IT WORKS

When you have completed as much of the Bingo card as you wish, submit an ask to the library with the title and author for each category (no need to provide the link). Please number them 1-9. Submissions will always remain anonymous. You can submit more than one Bingo card, although a fanfic will only show up once for each category.

We will add the Klaine fanfic to our AO3 collection as the Bingo cards are received. Once a week, we will blog the post providing a hyperlink to each category.

TIMING

We will accept Bingo cards from June 1 - August 31 2023.

Hey everyone!

I don’t know about you, but I love fanart.

In this fandom we have a lot of great places for sharing and promoting fic, but I realised there isn’t really a place that focusses solely on fanart (at least not an active one)! Therefore, I created this blog to have a collective place where you can find art from all your favourite artists! We’ll reblog new art as well as old work from artists we al knew and loved <3

This blog is very very new and I really hope that as time goes on, we will be able to achieve a bulging archive chock full of all your favourite art pieces!

Looking for a specific artist? Their art will easily be found under their url tag!

Looking for art in theme of a specific trope/episode/fic? I will try to tag everything as specifically as possible! For example, looking for Cheerio!Kurt? Just type it in the search bar! I am also working on a navigation page, that will hopefully be an easy tool to find the art you’re looking for :)

Reblogs from original artists posts only! Unless specifically asked otherwise by the artists themselves or if the artist is literally untraceable. All credit belongs to the person who made the piece. Even if their blog has been deactivated. Thankfully tumblr still allows us to reblog posts from deactivate blogs.

Talking about deactivated blogs or deleted posts, this will be a hard one. Sadly it isn’t possible to visit deactivated blogs to scroll through their art tags and just reblog everything they ever made. But I really hope that with your help we can can collect as much of these old art pieces as possible! So if you have art from long lost artists in your own archive, please do share!

Blaine watched helplessly as Kurt shucked his jacket. “Kurt, what are you—“

“I’m having a weak moment, Blaine.” He stared defiantly into Blaine’s eyes and tossed his jacket and tie to his desk chair. “Are you going to help me with that?”

It only took approximately three seconds for Blaine to realize what Kurt was saying. He grinned and tossed his camera bag into one of the chairs. Then he began to unbutton his shirt quickly. “Oh hell yes! In your office though?”

Kurt dropped his shirt on top of his other clothes and came around the desk to where Blaine was just getting his own shirt off. He pulled a condom and small bottle of lube from his pocket that had Blaine’s eyes glowing.

“It’s always been a fantasy of mine and what you said the other day about carrying a condom around with me got me to thinking.” He moved closer and noted with satisfaction that Blaine seemed to be breathing hard already. “What do you say? Want to help me live it out?”

“Yes,” was all Blaine got out before Kurt kissed him frantically, their hands found each other’s chests and arms.

New Fic: Underneath it All [Preview]

Hi everyone!

It’s been a while since I finished posting my last fic, Sleepless in Brooklyn. My plan was to start writing and sharing a new fic right away, but life got in the way. It’s been a few difficult months, with lots of up and downs, and writing was sort of relegated to the last spot in my list of priorities. But a few weeks ago I finally managed to find some balance in my life again, and I’m now in a much better, much more creative and much happier place.

And nothing makes me happier than announcing that my new story, Underneath it All, will start on August 3rd. This fic is a book!AU that I’ve wanted to write for the longest time. It’s been a bit challenging, because it’s based on the first romance novel I’ve ever read, Wildest Hearts by Jayne Ann Krentz, a book that was written and published in the late 80s/early 90s, so it was quite challenging to adapt the story to our times and for a gay couple. But I had lots of fun with it, and I hope you guys will enjoy the ride.

Without further ado, here’s a preview of the first chapter, plus the cover art made by the amazing @nerdishedits​. My beta for this story is once again the one and only @christinejaneanderson​, who’s been my partner in crime for a decade now. I’d be lost without her ♥

The first time Blaine saw Kurt Hummel was at his older brother’s engagement party.

It was a very lovely night, still warm for the end of September, and both drinks and food were flowing freely in the cozy yet expensive restaurant Cooper and Joanna had chosen for the occasion, the one where they’d had their first date a few years ago, where Cooper had stopped, just outside the doors after dinner, and kissed her as pedestrians swerved around them, as the Manhattan traffic played for them like a symphony. He hadn’t been able to wait until they were at her doorstep, Cooper had told Blaine the next day. He just knew he had to kiss her right then and there, afraid there wouldn’t be another chance, afraid the magic would be spoiled.

There was music playing and a space had been cleared amongst the tables to allow for some dancing. For a few minutes, Blaine stood with his champagne glass and watched as couples danced, a little smile on his face, maybe a wisp of wistfulness behind his hazel eyes. But there would be time for that, he told himself as he turned to find his brother.

For a while, Blaine was distracted, chatting amicably with friends and colleagues, making sure everyone was having a nice time. It felt like it was his duty as best man to make sure this night went wonderfully for both Cooper and Joanna.

And then he was there.

I'm trying to find a story, it's a really long one, where Kurt is in high school and Blaine is older. They end up, finally, getting married, Blaine is a musician with a prominent orchestra, I think Kurt is a fashion designer. It's a great story, but I cannot seem to find it now and I'd really like to read it again! Help!

Scarves & Coffee is BACK!!

It is with great pleasure I am here to announce that SCARVES & COFFEE is BACK after all these years!!

The website went down due to my lack of time and ability to stop the hackers, but at the 11th hour the kindness of a stranger to me offered to take the whole site over. Not only that, this wonderful person has written their own code so not only will the site be maintained, it will also be IMPROVED over time!!

So without further ado, I would like to introduce you to and officially hand over the reins to Atlas :)
