Introverted Intuition (Ni): Vanko is trying to destroy an imaginary concept - the Stark legacy. He’s so caught up in his symbolic ideas that he doesn’t put much of a practical plan into action. He’s in a world of his own, and has very decisive ideas about what he wants. He wants his bird, and he can tell if it’s the wrong one. He spends years building the device needed to defeat Tony, from his father’s specs, and when that plan doesn’t go through, he immediately starts working on new long-term plans to destroy Tony Stark. Vanko is obsessed with one goal and one goal only; avenging his father’s death. He won’t divert from that path, no matter what. He’s convinced that he wins because symbolism, even though as Tony points out ‘Where will you watch the world destroy me from? Oh, right. In this cell.”

Extroverted Thinking (Te): Vanko pretty much uses whatever tangible items he can, to immediately get what he wants. He has no time for Hammer’s pleasantries; he’s immediately taking apart the drones, demanding his bird returned, taking authority and giving the commands. He’s very straightforward and tactile, direct with what he wants and logical in achieving it. He’s spent a long time carefully planning all the steps needed for his revenge plot. He frequently uses his logical knowledge of science and technology to take direct action, without much thought or analysis.

Introverted Feeling (Fi): His hatred for Tony, belief in his father’s victimhood, and sense of loss all motivate him to act as he does. His emotional responses are pretty contained and below-the-surface; he expresses his love for his father entirely through his actions and vengeance, his hatred for Tony only through his behavior. He believes in his plot to destroy Stark’s legacy, regardless of changing circumstances.

Extroverted Sensing (Se): He’s skilled at taking what’s available in his environment and using it for his long-term schemes. He seems to enjoy the physical rush of the fights, and isn’t afraid to attack when he needs to - albeit sparingly. He wants to adjust his working environment to be precisely calibrated to his needs. His goals are rooted entirely in symbolism, and he has very little ofothold in the tangible, real world, so his Se is lower.

And welcome all! I am probs the first fan acc for Ivan Vanko (Whiplash) from Iron Man 2 ever! Unhealthy obssession over this man and this man only.

Am I the only person to obssess over a character that only appears for like 5 mins in the movie and had a 1-dimensional personality but alr made like an ENTIRE backstory and background and personalities so deep, its deeper than Mariana's Trench itself?

Out of anyone in the Iron Man trilogy, I picked this guy
