I think Cherubim has some of the more interesting and unconventional colors out of all the angels.

I was inspired by the colors used in medieval manuscripts when I colored the wings of the original Cherubim. 

The faces are based on lion faces, so I took inspiration from one of my favorite lion characters, Scar from the Lion King, to color the mane and fur.

For the recolor, I thought some colors related to nature would be nice. Browns, greens, and blues. Since cherubim can have animal features, I tend to associate them with nature.

this is my only non-humanoid one so far, but i took one look at it & immediately wanted to do this burning, smoking, ashen cervid design. later, i found out that another name for candlesnuff is, unsurprisingly, stag’s horn!

She has roses for her mane and tail. Cupid wings on her back heels, and the hearts are apart of her body. Her eyes are also roses.

my take on luna!! her mane fades into moonlight and her tails all ocean-y because the moon controls the tide and stuff and i wanted 2 include that in her design! !!
