Now that I’m home, have the “all for one should’ve just asked Kurogiri to have the talk with Tomura” AU

Tomura met a young, injured Touya at ~10, he brought his new friend home and the two of them were quickly inseparable.

AFO was a bit put off, but Touya didn’t like heroes either, and he was happy enough to leave his old life behind. So there was no real harm to it.

Touya took on a new name, Dabi, and became Tomura’s best friend and right hand man.

At ~12, Tomura and Dabi got separated from Kurogiri while taking a walk. There was a random villain attack that the group got caught up in.

In the chaos, the two of them managed to get away. Tomura killed one of the villains who’d hurt Dabi, and they’d gotten to a safe location, but they were stuck until Kurogiri found them.

Then they hear an angry little voice, and the two of them find they aren’t alone in the room. There’s a rather upset little kid with a head injury.

The kid is confused and scared, but they manage to talk him down and get some bandages on him. The kid can’t remember anything, and Dabi and Tomura quickly start to notice he starts a lot of traits with the two of them.

Now, in Tomura and Dabi’s defense, it was a high stress situation and humans have a tendency to jump to impulsive conclusions when stressed

Also neither of them ever got The Talk. They were never told where children come from.

By the time a very worried Kurogiri gets to his two charges, he finds out that they’ve had a son. Apparently.

Not wanting to argue and stress any of them out, Kurogiri brings all three children back to base.

There they find out that the child does remember one thing, his first name, Katsuki, but not anything else. Healing him up isn’t an issue, but doesn’t fix his memory. They are able to find out the child is about 7 years old though.

All for One is away, he’s running a very important operation. Kurogiri isn’t sure how to proceed, and the doctor only shrugs his shoulders, so Kurogiri decides to play along.

Thus, Katsuki Shigaraki becomes a part of the family.

Dabi and Tomura both taking being fathers very seriously. It’s a very intense game of house that Kurogiri doesn’t have the heart to ruin. He just helps make sure things run smoothly.

There is the small issue of Katsuki wanting to be a hero. Neither Tomura nor Dabi want to ruin their son’s dreams.

All for One gets home after a very long week to find out that he is now a grandfather, and that’s just something he has to live with now. Also his grandson is going to be a hero.

All for One assumes that Tomura will get bored or frustrated with the game soon enough. Dabi only worked out well because he’s willing to go along with Tomura most of the time, even if he gripes. So surely Tomura will be fed up with Katsuki’s stubborn attitude in a matter of weeks and want him gone, right?

He was wrong. He was so wrong.

8 years later, Katsuki Shigaraki is going to UA high school, and his dads are very proud of him. His grandfather has probably taken up drinking by now.

This entire AU is for a scene where Aizawa has Katsuki’s parents in for their first parent teacher conference, and there’s two 20 something year olds sitting across from him.

Aizawa: “Ah, are one of you two Katsuki’s older sibling?”

Tomura: “No, we’re his parents.”

Aizawa: “Oh- Uh, sorry. You’re his parents?”

Tomura, grinning: “Yes, we’re very proud of our son.”

Aizawa: “Just… out of curiosity, how old are you?”

Tomura: “Ah, I’m 20 and my husband is 22.”

Aizawa: “And. You two are the parents of Katsuki Shigaraki. Who is 15 years old.”

Tomura, 100% obliviously: “Yes, that’s correct.”

Aizawa, math lady meme flashing over his brain: “I-. Sorry, I just need to double check for his medical file, both of you are his biological parents? And were there any quirks involved?”

Touya, also mostly obvious: “Yes we are, and none that we know of. He tends to take after Tomura health wise, thankfully.”

Aizawa, debating his life choices and whether or not this is worth it or if he should just quit being a teacher and walk away now: “… Okay. That’s. That’s fine. That’s good to know. Let’s- Let’s move on to the rest of this meeting.”
