Is it too late to plant bedding plants?
It is, in fact, very much the case that in milder areas tender bedding plants should be planted out in late May or even early June. This is to ensure that they are not destroyed by harsh weather conditions.

Planting Winter Bedding Plants
Early autumn is a good time to plant bedding plants that will provide colour from Autumn through to Spring.
In this video I have a look at how the summer bedding plants have done as well as looking at the wall flowers and primulas that I planted last autumn. I plant up two containers with ornamental cabbage and violas and in the main bed I plant Pansies and Cineraria maritima for Winter colour
