You stood outside of the door, the rain pouring down even harder than when you had first left your house. It was okay though, you felt numb to the bitter ice-cold sheets anyway. You couldn’t feel a single thing. After he hit you and made the effort to shove you down the stairs, those feelings instantly were shut off and you couldn’t feel a single thing.

You managed to escape and run off because you couldn’t take being in that building again. You couldn’t take his yelling and his aggressive words and his hurtful shouts that totally made you believe you were nothing. Unworthy of love and affection. Of a home. He used your lack of contact with your family against you, saying that they didn’t want to interact with you for a reason. That you were the problem and that you didn’t deserve anyone. You were the problem.

You couldn’t take it any longer and now you were outside of his door knocking aggressively as tears streamed down your face and helpless sobs were leaving your lips as your hair clung to your face due to the thick rain. “Please please be here Jiho…” you whimpered into the door. There was still no answer and you pressed your forehead against the door with a loud shout of frustration. A cry. You sunk to ground of the steps in front of the bright red door and curled up into a ball, crying your eyes out. The one person you could trust wasn’t even at home and you felt so hopeless. So alone.
