HELP ME KEEP MY HOME
Hey there! I'm Rab, your local trans queer disabled artist. I'm looking for employment, but it's been hard with both my physical and mental disabilities. Rent was due yesterday, and I still have $150 or so to go, and my food is almost out, as well as I have a couple utilities to pay. ANY help is appreciated.

Donald Trumps blatant ignorance and its influence.
Last night Donald J. Trump held a reelection rally in Greenville, North Carolina. During this rally he spends a considerable amount of time essentially slandering congresswoman Ilihan Omar. It is not surprising to see a president who enforced a Muslim ban attacking our only Muslim member of congress. He starts his tirade by stating, “ So representative Omar blames the United States for the terrorist attack on our country. Saying that terrorism is a reaction to our involvement in other people’s affairs.” This statement is a dog whistle. Not only is this blatant Islamophobia it is a lie. She has often argued that Americans insist on looking past their own role in the conflict in the Middle East that has fuelled the formation of terrorist groups in the region. This spread of misinformation is especially dangerous. Not only does it endangers Rep. Omar and her family, it endangers Muslim citizens.
Outside of Trumps Orlando rally the Proud Boys, a far-right neo-fascist hate group was stopped from confronting anti- Trump protesters. This violent group has been embrace by Trumps campaign. They are an openly violent group. Their presence at his rallies are common. This means that an openly violent hate group has heard a signal from their president that their anger should be focused on Rep. Omar and her faith. Members of the Muslim community have been attack multiple times by Trump and his administration. This attack was an effort to relight the raging Islamophobia of his base. To demonize and silence Muslim voices. Muslim Americans deserve safety and security. Trumps attacks on Muslim people is so incredibly dangerous. The fact that his initial point included the word Terrorism reinforces the misinformation that Muslims are to blame. The fear that followed 9/11 is being stoked again in 2019. Muslim in no way is synonymous with terrorist.
The Xenophobia of this administration has been clear. We all can agree that Trump is a xenophobe. We all, excluding the republican party can agree that Trump is racist. Why is calling someone racist more taboo than being racist? It’s because racists not only benefit from systemic racism, they embrace it. Trump will not condemn Stephen Paddock. Trump will not condemn Adam Lanza. Trump will not condemn Devin Patrick Kelly. Trump will not condemn Nickolas Cruz. All are undoubtedly terrorist and all are white. This association with terrorism and the religion of Islam is fear mongering. Trump is using the American peoples trauma from 9/11 to demonize our only Muslim congressperson.
