A Decision Made

Will woke up today with a mission. Golden brown eyes opened from deepest sleep, body turned in the bed whose frame he’d carved with his own two hands, in the little cabin home he and his boys had built together, and he knew what he had to do.

He threw on clothes, including his best denim vest, and didn’t even bother looking to see if Callum’s car was outside. Will knew his best friend better than anyone on earth and he knew Cal would be at the garage. Plus, it was nearly noon.

I'm excited to announce my new project. Sable: A Ghost Story is an ongoing, long-form webcomic that will begin posting later this year. It's gothic, it's hand-drawn, and it's about talking animals.

Just wanted to let you know that I'm reading Chronicles of Exandria Mighty Nein Volume 2 and I'm LOVING Iva's paranormal relationship with the Nein so far lmao

Haha thank you! I hope you've enjoyed it!

Fun fact for the art book - I actually took a lot of inspiration from Jessica Fletcher of Murder She Wrote, Lois Lane, with a dash of William from Almost Famous for Iva. Someone who is nosy and plucky and focused but also devoted to and passionate about her work, whose depth comes out via that passion.

Iva is a woman with her own business, her own writing passions - when she chooses to go after the Mighty Nein, it is with the verve of a journalist who knows in their gut that they've stumbled upon a huge story - they just have to learn enough to make the rest of the world understand, too.

Iva goes on a really huge journey and it is through her passion for her writing AND for the adventures of The Mighty Nein that she finds her own voice. And I think that's something that a lot of people can relate to - your unending love for someone else's work that opens the door to you finding your own niche, your own creative outlet.

Anyway I love Iva and I hope y'all love her, too!
