wayhaught headcanon for s4 // nicole likes to sit on the steps in the woods, leaning against the empty archway talking about how her days are; about all the happenings that are going on in town. she can’t wait until waverly is back so she can tell her this stuff in person. but for now, sitting there gives her comfort; gives her the warmth she’s been missing. it’s as if someone is leaning on her back listening.

waverly likes to sit against the gate, wishing for it to open so she can go back home. back to her sister; back to her love. but it’s all the same everyday. the one thing that keeps her hope alive is the warm voice she hears behind the closed doors. it’s not strong, but it’s there. it’s enough.

imagine scenes next season; with waverly gone for the time being, nicole likes to stay at the homestead especially when wynonna isn’t home so she can watch over it and in all honesty, she just feels less alone when she’s there. when wynonna is back from her travels, nicole finds wyn curled up on the couch with cj more often than not which makes for good blackmail later on. and on some nights, they stay up drinking like they did the first time back at the station. talking anything and everything to fill the void of the person they love most.

So I finally watched the finale and bits seemed rushed but tbh I actually really liked both eps. As usual, here are some random thoughts/opinions ; 💭

- waverly and charlie actually look pretty similar (not sure if that’s what they were going for but it’s there) so I’m surprised I didn’t think of that twist before lol

- I really wanted to explore julian and waverly’s relationship a lot more. for the split moments he was with her, you can tell waverly was ready to welcome him into her life whole heartedly. the one thing waverly hasn’t had is a full parental figure in her life and she suddenly has this piece of who she really is and it’s ripped from her the moment she gets it

- randy nedley has looked after ALL our girls from the beginning so I’m all for him being one to help get them back

- not to worried about nicole and I feel like people shouldn’t either? She’s Sheriff of Purgatory, imagine all the solo stuff she can do protecting the town while wynonna is off doing her own shit. solo nic episode anyone?

- as for the proposal scene, I didn’t really think much of it but omg finally waverly actually says she loves nicole to her face

- but I do think her asking nicole was more of “hey I’m done losing everyone I love. I’m not losing you now or ever so here’s my ring that has protected me the moment I got it and I’m giving it to you because I want to protect you even if I’m not here with you”

- doc.. I love Tim but this storyline for doc is just dragging on lmao

- lastly, I stand by this always but earp sisters carry this show so hard. I literally almost teared up when they were on their way to fight. Two angel guardians, now two sisters. Ready, angel pants? Always, bacon donut.

I think the reason why I’m not freaking out for tonight is because I feel like the only way for any character to truly be killed off would be if someone is leaving the show, i.e Dolls/Shamier. If anyone would be dying or being removed in some way, I also feel like it wouldn’t be permanent. It would just be an incentive for the gang to get them back.

Either way, I don’t know. I’m not sure what I expect from the finale but I do know it’ll be probably leave me screaming as usual.

So.. random thought and like what if julian was there during the bulshar massacre and is part of the reason why nicole survived? what if he made sure that she was safe and put in the right hands? And by doing so, he indirectly had her on a path that lead her back to purgatory, back to where belongs; where she’ll find a family and her soulmate.

some random thoughts/theories ; 💭

- wynonna has literally lost alice, dolls, willa, mama, daddy, charlie and a part of doc that they can never get back. she is no way in hell losing waverly earp

- the ring has always belonged to waverly and i stand by my theory that it really was coming back to her, nicole has just always been in the wrong place at the wrong time

- mama earp is out looking for julian so i’m not too worried yet. she’ll probably come in clutch and he’ll take his place on the throne to seal the garden instead of waverly

- nicole is purely human. we sort of knew that before when the goo wouldn’t take over her body and it said she wasn’t good enough but now it’s 100% a real deal

- so if nic is pure human, what does that make jeremy? what did bbd do to him that we don’t know of yet?

- I assume the fire witch is in doc now but I’m still over him lol y’all can’t break me on that

Earp sister moments are literally what carry this show so hard and it’s one of the biggest reasons I keep watching so avidly. Throughout season 2 and into season 3, those moments between Waverly and Wynonna are so important because it shows why they do the things they do. For Wynonna to take a stand and say ‘no way in hell are you sacrificing yourself for this, Waverly’ is so huge. Huge because it was one thing to get Alice out of town for safety and for in case they don’t make it through. But in this moment, they have a fighting/winning chance now and without hesitation, wynonna says no.
