Maybe its ridiculous what im about to say buy IN MY HEAD CANNON before the doom, we know the Velaryons weren't dragon lords so they chosen the sea, what if they were like very connected to it? I picture them with beautiful voices that could make people cry (even dragon lords) or the ability to stay more time underwater (very mermaid core ik) maybe they have dry skin if they are too much time without the touch of the sea. I know all of this is a very kinda mermaid thing, but Valyria was a magic empire, so i like to believe that dragons aren't the only magic they possessed (blood magic and all of that doesn't count).

As someone with an autoinmune disease, im constantly in pain and suffering from severe fatigue and other things (this is kinda a vent lol). BUT as the Cregan Starks delulu fan i am, i have to imagine that it will be so nice to have that big man at my side, reassuring me when need it, going through the pain with me, calming my insecurities cause of my condition. You know, that kinda sweet and honorable Stark thing.
