Her sternness burned away into a giddy grin as she nuzzled herself into the hug. “Of course I missed you! You AND that dorky mop of hair on your head!” Willow burst into giggles. “You were gone forever! I was soooo lonely!”
His smile became more genuine--it was so nice to have a friend in this messy excuse for a world they were trapped in.

Well it didn’t hurt that he was already quite interested...not to mention, even after everything, exceedingly gullible.
And yet there were still some alarm bells going off in his head. This was a little quick to make rash decisions, wasn’t it?
“ Well, that does sound lovely miss--I mean--your highness?--and I’d offer you whatever help I could but...let’s not be so hasty...? I don’t know, I might need some time to think about this... ”
Think? For a self-proclaimed scientist, Wilson sure didn’t do a lot of that.

He really had only meant this as a hypothetical, but honestly the possibilities here were starting to seem more and more appealing in his head.
“ R-right, I understand...I mean, would you take me, with you, if--again, theoretically!--that was what I wanted? And there wouldn’t be any of the ‘voices in my head’ nonsense that happened last time?
