One good thing about being stuck in traffic today - simple pleasure of seeing a picture and capturing it

Until recently (it broke) I scanned my 120 negatives on a Nikon 8000ED. Absolutely love the quality you can get from it. It was very temperamental & had to use Vuescan at the end because Nikon haven't upgraded their software to match my Mac OS but was worth the time invested when you see the quality of the prints you can make.
Now using Epson V750 with Silverfast which is surprisingly good but want to invest in some glass adjustable negative holders as I've seen the results with these are much better.
Film photographers: Do you scan your negatives yourself?
If so, what do you use? How do you do it? Satisfied with the results? Thanks!
