but evan is the guard dog, trained from an attack dog. rescued, but forever snapping at restraints, afraid of the unfamiliar, and loving those he is supposed to protect. willing to do anything. when it's brought out of him, he desperately seeks the validation of his people. he is not a breed selected for friendliness, but he is smart, he is sharp, and he will hunt.
