I’d have preferred Lance end up with no one than for Allura to suddenly “change her mind” after years and years of Lance’s pining.

Lance’s first serious relationship should not have been that heart breaking, and it definitely should not be his last. Lance deserves better.

so i might be a little late to this realization but, the blue lion was found on earth and lance loves earth dearly.  allura on the other hand has never even seen earth until now but still does everything she can to save it, she even gives away her life.
