First draft of an animation study.

My husband and I were playing “Lovers in a Dangerous Space Time” and I fell in love, myself, with the art direction. Thus this little study came to be. I have ideas of how I want to tweak it, but wanted to post the first iteration here.

Edit: I uploaded the final version the agency I work for is sharing on social media, because I prefer this composition :)

Got some ideas I want to work on, and decided to just doodle for a bit to warm up. Not sure who she is, but I am digging her eyelashes :P

A birthday gift for a friend of mine, who is pretty in love with this series. I haven’t played it yet, so when I was drawing this, I kept feeling a bit nervous about how well I was representing the characters and theme elements. She loved it, which is all that matters. Although, I still can’t help but feel a sense of dissatisfaction with how it turned out. Perhaps it is those lingering feelings.

Wanted to study up on a style, some colors and toning, and used my face as the vehicle. Planning for a new project, even though I still need to finish my Bloodborne series.

These are commemorative coins we developed based on the crane illustration for the “Blessing of the Cranes” event. Sadly, I never got one, but they seem to have turned out nicely :).

So far, I haven't been true to the "creative audit" I planned to do for myself. I need to get back to posting samples of last year's work. In the mean time, here are some sketches I have up in a corner of my office. Luna finds them relaxing.

This was a fun project! I got to design an event poster for a charity BBQ event. The client’s only mandatory was, we had to feature a pig chef somewhere. That was a running icon in all of their posters over the years, and was a tribute to the artist who originally did the work. I did two options where the pig was more prominent, and one more typographic. This one was my favorite.
