Daft Punk has officially split up.

 Daft Punk has announced today that they are officially retiring. God I'm so emotional right now...

I can't even begin to describe how much of an impact these two incredible artists have left on me. I discovered them way back in 2008, and ever since then I've been a huge fan. Daft Punk was one of the gateways to Electronic music for me, and because of them, I absolutely love the genre.

Every song they've created, every album they released over the years... I can't thank them enough for all the joy and nostalgia they've brought me. Their music helped me get through hard times, and helped make good times even better.

Thank you, Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. Thank you for giving us the gift of Daft Punk.
