the art of a dying conversation

i literally have

nothing

to say.

at first it was i 

who continued this 

train of thought.

but now i keep hesitating,

and ending each sentence

with a full stop.

but yet you always

find the right

words to say,

and its reflected

by the concern 

in your eyes.

i try not to gaze

at them

for too long,

because 

then i’ll

reach out

for your hand

and what if 

this conversation

was all

a miscalculated

joke;

this entire time?

and here i am,

walking the fine line

between being

and wanting.

between friendly

and more than friends.

i don’t want to make 

things

weird.

and i really hope that 

this

doesn’t turn into

a miscalculated 

risk;

but i feel like 

i need to 

tell you,

soon.
