Reminder that fish need attention and interaction too! Here's fun things you can do to interact with your fish!

-talk to them! They don't know what you're saying, but they do know that you're making noises at them and they like the attention

-get them to follow your fingers! Wave at them! Hand movements! If you move your hands a lot you can catch your fishes interest and play with them

-doodle on their tank with dry erase markers! Make sure not to use permanent ones! Draw little shapes and doodles for them! My fish really likes circles

-give them a floaty thing! Find something that floats and give that to your fish! They'll push it around the tank :)

-put them in a place with plenty of activity! Fish, especially betta fish, love to watch people. They lie seeing things move around even if they dont understand what the moving means! Put them somewhere they can watch you!

Interact with your fish! Fish do like interaction, and they love to watch people! They aren't decorations and they can get bored or sad too, so interact with your fishy friends and give them some love

I love the coloring they chose! Looks like a halfmoon or maybe a rose tail betta. please don’t be in a bowl please don’t be in a bowl please don’t

NIIIIIIIICE. The tank is too small but all Animal Crossing tanks are comically small, so we’ll ignore that

okay, some decent betta facts. However, I suspect this betta is going in the goldfish tank…

…yep. Basically none of the fish in here can be kept together in real life due to needing different water temperatures (goldfish are not tropical and need cooler water than bettas), incompatible behavior (bettas and guppies will tear each other’s fins up), etc. HOWEVER the aquascaping is very pretty and hopefully nobody is stupid enough to try to create a fish tank based on a video game, right? ….RIGHT?
