Dracula must be an EXTREMELY fast and clean eater. Unless perhaps he’s taking his meals elsewhere while he eats or he’s tossing leftovers overboard. I mean, are we to assume he’s been completely eating whole men, leaving behind no evidence (not even a little blood, some guts, or a pesky little phalanx) and he’s been able to do it without being seen (despite having had men come searching immediately after hearing the victim’s cry)?

I love how subtle this is. Dracula being/controlling the fog. And the fog just happens to let up exactly as the most recent victim cries out. As if Dracula had to manifest himself in person from the fog to make his kill, momentarily clearing the sky.
