Yeah. So I don’t like, want to leave, cuz I have two blogs I love. But this whole thing has me feeling disrespected.

Telling a large portion of your user-base to get lost, providing no alternative, and trying to get in the way of people who are trying to help. Yeah, I don’t want to support that. 

I’m an adult and I don’t think nudity is offensive, and there’s a lot of ACTUALLY dangerous stuff on here (white supremacists, people encouraging eating disorders, violent misogynists, people who encourage heroin/meth/crack use), but my nipples are apparently far more abhorrent.

It’s buying into the desperation of those in charge to selectively censor anything that reaches too many people, and of course, the dangerous and old-fashioned idea that sex is disgusting/shameful. 

Social sites are getting too big for their boots lately, and they seem to think they’re too big to fail, so they can do what they want. If I stay then I’m buying into that. 

I’m keeping this blog cuz I don’t see the point in deleting my memories on here, but I won’t be active, and I’ll be in search of other microblogging site (dm me alternatives if you wanna).

tl;dr: mass censorship is bad. this is isn’t the tumblr I signed up for, and the new tumblr has no respect for its userbase, so I’m out.

How is no one talking about how lgbtq content is usually marked more sexual than cishet content of the same exact acts and material? Even content that isn’t inherently sexual. This ban is going to decimate lgbtq content on this site.
