We’re very excited to be joined by bass player-songstress, @toddlersound (aka Stevie Jo Dooley) this Saturday at the #elementsep launch party, who will be supporting the night alongside @clairenorthey (more on Claire in the next post). . Stevie Jo started playing classical bass at aged 7, passing her degree-level ATCL diploma with distinction at 16, and moving onto study at the Royal Academy Jazz department for 2 years thereafter. Since then she has self released 4 EPs. Her sugar-sweet sound is reminiscent of Joanna Newsom, early Bjork and St. Vincent.
