i must say, hearing the tomiyama/togame interactions is so much more satisfying than reading them. the va’s do such a great job bringing out their characters’ personalities. the deep, slow way of togame and the chipper, hyper tone of tomiyama are so well done. i can’t wait for the rest of this arc to be animated.

I just recently went back to reread Daiya no Ace Act II and bro, the extra chapter?? I’ve been kicking myself for not realizing all the hints TJ has been dropping since Act I on who the captain for Sawamura’s generation would be. Now that I’ve rewatched and reread the series knowing who the captain will be, it’s so obvious it’s kind of sad.
