“Hmm. That’s definitely not good. I hope it’ll be better soon for you.”
“It does help, but the effect of caffeine doesn’t last through all my classes, later it is gone and I am sleepy all over again”

“Oh no, those guys are the worst. Like they just looked up pick up lines online or in one of those ‘Flirting for Dummies’ books.” Isobel chuckled. “I’m fine, thank you.”
“Thank god. It was like the second he started talking, i wasn’t interested. He kept using pick up lines. And really old ones too.” She chuckles. “I’m doing alright, what about you?”

“Hmm. I’ll try my best.” Isobel laughed. “Well, you’d probably have to phone them. They’re mostly back in Ireland though, so the bills might get a wee bit high.”
“Then you better tone it down because I’m a great pranker. Incredible? I’d like to see the reviews from your previous clients then.”

“I’ll do my best, just like I promised.” Isobel chuckled. “Though -- If I do happen to laugh, it’s not my fault.” Isobel couldn’t help but laugh at his remark about the American form of Hogwarts, which was -indeed- not exactly the most popular wizarding school in the Potter universe. Even Isobel knew very well that she’d prefer Hogwarts over Ilvermoney anytime. “I bet that you’ll get way more love after Fantastic Beasts.” Isobel offered. It was after all still nothing but a vague trailer, though she couldn’t pretend she didn’t love every single second of it. When he told her that he figured it was about time to head to bed, since he still had class in the morning, she nodded. She was kind of sad that this had to end, but she agreed. It was time to get to bed and at least try to get some sleep. “I’m proud of you.” She chuckled lightly at his joke. “I actually don’t have class in the morning, but I won’t forgive myself if you do.”
His lips twisted into a mischievous smirk when she entwined her pinkie with his. “I’m going to hold you to your promise. Just pretend like you love it, even if you hate it, okay?” He added jokingly. “Good thing I don’t care about what half the world thinks.” A chuckle fell from his lips at her comment on Seamus. “That’s right. And we, American people, deserve a better school. Nobody cares about Ilvermorny. Hogwarts gets all the action.” His gaze rested on her as he explained. He’d always been quick to make friends, not close friends but he was good at making acquaintances. However, now, talking to Isobel felt like he’s talking to an old friend, it was strange considering he’d known her for only a couple of hours and he couldn’t quite put his finger on how she managed to make him feel that way. All he knew was that he loved it and wanted to get to know her more. He finally tore his gaze from her to study his surroundings. Drawing in a deep breath, he smiled. “I think it’s time to head back to our houses — see, I’m already getting to used to living in the Harry Potter realm.” He laughed, turning to face her once again. “I’ll never forgive myself if you fall asleep in class tomorrow morning.”

Isobel laughed softly. “Alright, alright.” She chuckled for a bit, watching him for a bit. She really didn’t get what it was about him that made her feel so at ease. “Alright, sir.” Isobel laughed when he held up his pinkie. “Alright, I’m going to promise that I’ll try not to laugh.” She said with a short laugh as she tied her pinkie with his. “Pinky promise.” She shrugged with a grin covering her face when he noted that their version would be so much better than the original. “Cultural diversity? I’m pretty sure at least half of the people on this Earth will not exactly agree with you. But for the sake of the beautiful Irish and American culture, I’ll agree with you. Besides, we Irish people deserve so much more than just Seamus Finnigan. Not all Irish people blow things up in their faces.” She joked with a soft chuckle.
“Oh, boy.” Aaron ran his hand down his face, letting out a light sigh. “That’s not true. A huge misunderstanding is what it is.” He gave a quiet laugh, shaking his head. His gaze amusingly lingered on the brunette beside him. “I give you my word m’lady.” He declared with a small nod of his head as he crossed his heart and offered her his pinkie. “But I need you to promise that you will not make fun of me. Can you do that?” He raised a brow with a lopsided grin growing across his face. “Are you kidding? The original one has got nothing on our version. The more cultural diversity, the better.” He was beginning to enjoy their spontaneous encounter more and more each second; talking to someone without having someone or something else in mind was refreshing and he couldn’t help but wonder when he’d see her next.

Isobel laughed softly. “I wasn’t actually implying that, but hey if you feel like it was directed to you, there must be at least a little bit of truth to it, right?” She watched the guy for a few seconds before letting out a short chuckle and looking back up tot he sky. When he told her that he’d save the bleached hair picture for the next time, she nodded with a soft laugh. “I’m keeping you to that, though.” She laughed softly. “But that’’s a deal.” A small grin appeared on her face as he told her about how the only thing missing was his British accent. “Oh well, an American Malfoy and an Irish Granger. It can’t be too bad.” She joked with a soft laugh. “Good.” She agreed. She was actually already looking forward to a next time where they’d be able to hang out. It was weird, she’d never really had a conversation like this before, where -- even though they were still together -- she was looking forward to a next encounter.
Aaron pouted slightly, shaking his head disapprovingly. “Why do I feel like you’re implying that Kim Kardashian is my role model? I’m heartbroken that you think so little of me, especially after everything we’ve been through over the past, what, two hours.” His pout quickly turned into a mischievous smirk; he couldn’t seem to be able to keep a straight face tonight. At her next remark, he pursed his lips. “You know what? I think we should save that for next time. That way, you’ll have a reason to want to see me again. Win-win.” His declaration was followed by a playful wink, his lips curling into a wide grin. “Maybe I am. The only thing missing is a British accent — oh well, there’s nothing I can do about it, is there?” He attempted to feign a disappointed sigh but failed miserably. Her next comment only his grin grow wider, happy to hear that the feeling’s mutual. “Good. Neither do I.”

“Maybe.” Isobel said with a soft chuckle. “Oh, trust me, the hair is quite tamed right now.” She laughed softly, her curls could definitely go crazy, luckily it wouldn’t be as frizzy and curly as it could be when she slept with a braid, which definitely was a better look for herself. “Hmm -- maybe you’re right. But let’s be honest, Hermione is definitely a hundred percent of a better rolemodel than Kim Kardashian.” She joked. When he told her that he’d actually bleached his hair for a bet, she couldn’t help but let out a short chuckle. “I definitely have to see pictures of that time. You know what people say, right? ‘Pics or it didn’t happen’.” She couldn’t really imagine him with bleach blonde hair. “Perhaps you are a Malfoy deep down.” Isobel laughed softly. “Couldn’t help but go back to the roots.” When he made the comment about class tomorrow, she shrugged lightly. “Well, I don’t regret one single thing. So if you’re going to blame me for this night, I’ll gladly take all the credit.”
“Did you just roll your eyes at me?” Aaron let out a light chuckle at the mention of her hair being similar to Hermione’s. He tilted his head to the side as he studied her face before nodding his head in agreement. “I can see the resemblance.” He admitted, laughing. “I mean it’s not just the hair. Remember when you showed off your programming skills after I specifically told you that I was bad at it? Yeah, that was your inner Hermione showing.” He teased playfully. “I have to admit I bleached my hair once because I was dared to. That’s about closest to being a Malfoy I’ve ever been. Not to mention, I rocked that colour.” He couldn’t help but let out a short laugh at the memory. It was only one of the many stupid things he’d done over a dare. Dares had always been his greatest weakness. The boy simply couldn’t turn down a good challenge. “You know, it’s all your fault that I’ll be falling asleep tomorrow in class.” He laughed, scrunching up his nose jokingly.

“Maybe.” Isobel joked. “Well, it’ll be both faster and of course, I’m an incredible interior designer.”
“Hey, look at you! Are you starting to get real with me?” Nico laughed nudging her friend with her elbow. “Great, it’d be faster that way.”

“Good.” Isobel added a small nod and a small, almost unrecognizable smirk. “You could say that, yes. I do think it’s a very honourable code. Turns out we’re both quite the noble people, aren’t we?” Isobel said with a short laugh. She wondered for a few seconds what her night would’ve been like if she hadn’t gone out. She definitely would’ve missed out on a great new friend, who - oddly enough - seemed to enjoy so many of the same things. It was quite a rare occasion where someone would enjoy and love the same things as she did. The look on his face gave her the opportunity to return it with a semi-serious, semi-playful eye roll. Though, when he admitted to relating to Lucius, mainly because of his classy attitude and his, obvious, great hair. “He does have fantastic hair. Though, I have to admit, as a kid, I loved Hermione even more because of her bushy, frizzy hair. We were quite similar on that front.” Isobel admitted with a soft chuckle.
“I promise I’ll behave.” Aaron declared, raising his hand with his palm out to show how sincere his words were. “You only hurt those who deserve it. Is that the code you follow? If so, that’s very noble of you and I believe, calling my potential blackmailer noble makes me noble too.” He enjoyed the playful tone of their conversation. He found himself laughing again, which seemed to happen quite a lot tonight. He didn’t know whether it’s because the night is particularly pleasant or because of Isobel’s greatly appreciated company. It’s probably a mixture of both with the latter one prevailing. “I’m glad to hear that we’re on the same page on that one.” His lips curled into a mischievous smirk and the expression on her face only the smirk grow wider. With a victorious expression on his face, he raised his brows like he had no clue why she was staring at him like that. His expression quickly softened into an adoring smile when she admitted that Hermione was still her role model. “And I’ve always related to Lucius on a spiritual level. He is always classy and always has great hair.”

“Alright, alright.” Isobel laughed. “I promise I won’t spill your secrets as long as you don’t do anything to provoke that reaction.” Isobel teased. “Because, you know, now I do have this dirt on you, and I’m not afraid to use it when necessary. Though -- I truly promise that won’t be until I actually have a reason.” Isobel joked as her lips formed into a playful smile. Of course she wasn’t going to do any of those things, Isobel was definitely not the type to put things up without other people’s permission. Perhaps as a joke maybe. Definitely not as blackmail material. “But I do agree -- loving Patrick Swayze is definitely not something to be ashamed of.” She chuckled as she ran her hand through her hair. When he, probably purposely messed up the Harry Potter spell, she tilted her head slightly, narrowed her eyes and pressed her lips together. She figured that reaction already let him know exactly how she felt about it. It didn’t take too long for her to break into a chuckle though. “What can I say. As a little girl Hermione was definitely my rolemodel.” Isobel admitted. “Who am I kidding. She still is.”
“And here I was hoping I was special.” He laughed, glad that she decided to play along. “Hey, that’s slander! I’m not an expert in law or anything but I’m pretty sure I can sue you for that. I already regret telling you my deepest and darkest secrets. First of all, I was an eleven year old boy who wanted to impress girls when I was obsessed with Patrick Swayze and secondly, I’m not ashamed of it. The dude’s got some sick moves.” He chuckled, widening his eyes as he explained. “But I’d be very grateful if you didn’t tell anyone that I watch the Kardashians from time to time. I have a reputation to uphold after all — Please?” His lower lip slid forward into a subtle pout. “Why am I not surprised, Isobel Granger? Of course, Wingardium Leviosa is your favourite.” He added playfully, intentionally emphasising the wrong syllables to mess with her. A small cackle escaped his lips at her remark as he saved her number and shoved his phone back into his pocket, happy that he got that out of the way.
