Patient!Roman and Parader!Virgil

An AU based on MCR’s album The Black Parade and inspired by Wendigoon’s Black Parade Analysis! with some changes. (if you have 36 minutes, please please watch the analysis, it’s great !!!)

(excited rambling about the AU below)

The next person that Virgil has to lead into the afterlife is Roman, a young adult who has to deal with the loss of his dreams, his friends, and his life. Virgil couldn’t really care less about another dying person, but Roman’s last few months reminds him of a death he hasn’t thought about in decades.

introduction: Roman is a terminal cancer patient, and Virgil was a WWII soldier that is now guiding people to the afterlife. Their story is told through the songs (with alternating perspectives) in this order:
