Taking Care of the Sick || Staissac
Stassi: After her doctors appointment, Stassi stopped by the store to get medicine and some things for Isaac. She always hated when he was sick, but she constantly doted on him, it was her job after all. Walking into the house, she stopped in the kitchen and put the groceries away before walking upstairs with the bag of soup she had picked up. She walked into the bedroom and sat down on the edge of the bed, patting Isaac's back, "How are you feeling, sicky?" She asked, leaning over and kissing his cheek. Isaac: Isaac absolutely hated being sick. It made him feel week and vulnerable, but it also made him feel like a big baby. Hearing Stassi walk into the bedroom, Isaac rolled over in the bed to face her and groaned loudly "ughhhh. Why me?" He whined, closing his eyes tightly so the few stray rays of sunshine coming through the blinds wouldn't make his headache any worse. Stassi: She laughed softly. "I'm sorry sweetheart." She smiled a weak smile and kissed his forehead. She reached over and opened the drawer on her nightstand and pulled out the thermometer. "Here, under your tongue." She said with a smile and handed it to him. Stassi hated when Isaac was sick but at the same time she also liked it because it made her feel needed and important. "I have soup for you and an ultrasound picture," She said, getting up and walking over to her closet and changing her clothes. Walking out of the closet, she climbed on the bed and placed Isaac's head in her lap and ran her fingers through his hair. "What can I do to make you feel better?" She asked. Isaac: He groaned loudly as she pulled out the thermometer, but lifted his tounge anyway. When Stassi said she had soup and an ultrasound photo, he smiled as much as a sick person with a thermometer in their mouth could smile. Stassi was always so thoughtful and Isaac knew he was lucky to have her. As Stassi climbed back in the bed, Isaac lifted his head carefully and rested it on her lap, relaxing as she ran her fingers gently through his hair. "The soup sounds lovely babe, and while I love hat you're doing to my head right now, maybe I should sleep in the guest room tonight. I don't want you catching this bug, you've got precious cargo and I don't want to risk anything." Despite how far in her pregnancy she was, because of past expiriences, they both were always very cautious when it came to making sure nothing happened this time. Stassi: When the thermometer beeped, she took it out and looked at it. "101.2. At least it's going down," She smiled. When he offered to sleep in the guest room, she shook her head looking down at him. "No." She knew why Isaac brought it up but she didn't want him away from her. "I won't get sick, okay?" She leaned down and kissed his forehead. "Maybe you should take a cold shower?," She asked, and patted Isaac's space on the bed and laid down on her own. "Our son will love you," She said with a bright smile. She yawned, "Go take a cold bath. Go. I'm going to take a nap." Isaac: "You don't know that you won't get sick though." He replied, looking at her with pleading eyes. He was miserable and he didn't want her to be too, she had enough going on dealing with being pregnant, the last thing he wanted was for her to be sick too. At the mention of a cold shower Isaac pouted, but sat up. If it would bring the fever down then he would have to try it. He stood up grabbing some clothes out of his dresser before smiling at her "I love you Stassi Healy." He said, walking into the master bathroom and closing the door to take a cool bath.

Family Readiness || Staissac
Stassi: After getting to work and getting something to eat, Stassi felt sick and after throwing up, headed home. Upon walking through the door, she texted Isaac, telling him she was home early and went upstairs, changed her clothes and laid down on the bed, drifting off to sleep. When she woke up, later that afternoon, she smiled seeing Isaac walk into the bedroom. "I woke up just in time." She said softly. She was excited that they were finally starting their family together. She scooted over to her side of the bed and sat up. "How was your day?," She asked. Isaac: Isaac was all smiles lately, especially as the arrival of their first child neared. He sighed looking down at his phone, seeing that Stassi was home early. He wished he could go home and take care of her, but he had patients that afternoon, and he wouldn't be off until four. He made sure his secratary had some flowers sent to the office to take home to Stassi, and after his last appointment, he hurried home. Leaving the flowers in a vase in the kitchen, Isaac walked up the stairs to their bedroom. "Hello beautiful." Isaac smiled, feeling bad that he had woken his wife up. "My day was good, but I'm glad to be home." He replied sitting down on the bed next to her.
Stassi: She smiled when he sat down and she moved over and laid her head in his lap. "I'm glad you're home too." She reached up, taking his hand and played with his fingers. "Baby doesn't like hospital breakfast burritos. I found that out today." It was impossible to wipe the smile off her face anytime she talked about the baby or Isaac. She sat up and looked at him, smiling. "Lay down with me?" She asked. "I'll go cook in a little bit. I just wanna lay with you." Isaac: He smiled as Stassi rested her head on his lap, brushing a few hairs out of her face before she took his hand. "Baby doesn't like a lot of foods, does he?" Isaac said, resting his other hand lightly on her stomach. They didn't know what the sex was yet, although they would find out soon. Isaac hoped it would be a boy though. "Of course I'll lay with you love, let me put on sweats first though." He stood up from the bed, sliding out of his slacks and into his sweats, then crawled back on the bed with her. Stassi: "No he doesn't. I really want a boy. So he can have your hair and your eyes. I've always loved your eyes," She spoke softly. She placed her free hand over Isaac's and smiled feeling the baby kick. "He always becomes more active when you're around. I like it." She smiled when he said he would lay with her and nodded her head. When he crawled back into bed with her, she cuddled up next to him the best she could and laid her head on his chest and closed her eyes. That always relaxed her. She opened her eyes to look up at him, and kissed his cheek. "Thank you for putting up with me for this long,"She said, half joking. Isaac: He smiled lovingly at his wife, "I want a boy too, but I hope he has your hair, an your smile, because you have the most perfect beautiful smile baby." A boy that was a mix of the two of them would be one lucky kid, Isaac thought to himself. He cuddled Stassi as best he could, although the farther she got into the pregnancy, the harder it was for them. "Me put up with you babe? I think you've had to put up with a lot more from me. I've got a lot of issues but you always stuck with me, when it would have been easier to just leave me." Stassi: "But I want him to have your hair." She said, pouting. She frowned at the difficulty of cuddling. "The downside to being pregnant is that I can't cuddle with my husband." She pouted once again. "Would it be possible to just not eat and stay here all night with you, like this?," She asked. She shook her head. "It wouldn't have been easy, trust me. That time I broke up with you, being away from you killed me. Plus, when you love someone you don't leave them, no matter what." She shrugged her shoulders. "You are the best thing that has ever happened to me." Isaac: He smiled at his wife, giving in. He knew that they would never agree on who the kid should look like. "I think we should go to the doctor again soon so we can find out what we are having. We should be able to tell by now." He smiled."It's definitely a downside, but it will be worth it." He put lazily traced circles on her belly, he couldn't wait to be a father, despite how much it scared him. "I would love to lay in bed for the rest of the day mrs. Healy, but I think my child will want food shortly. " he laughed. "I love you forever and always till the end of my days." He gave her a sweet kiss on the top of her head. Stassi: She bit her lip, nodding her head when he mentioned going to the doctor. "Yeah, definitely." She smiled seeing him smile. She always loved seeing Isaac smile, especially now. She nodded watching him trace circles on her belly. "Mrs. Healy. I love hearing that," She smiled then scrunched up her nose, "Yeah...I think you're right." She laughed. "Always and forever and a day plus two." She closed her eyes, as he kissed the top of her head. "I need to show you something but you have to close your eyes okay?," She said, pulling away from him and climbing off the bed, grabbing his hand and pulling him up. Isaac: "I love calling you that. Mrs. Healy." Their wedding was beautiful, but all Isaac had cared about that day was finally getting to share his name with her. Isaac was the only Healy that still had a future, and now he had a child on the way. He had grown up with pretty much no family, but he was greatful for Stassi's family, and his chance to start a new family of his own. Isaac groaned, getting off the bed, "Some days I feel a lot older than I really am Mrs. Healy." He said, as he followed blindy where Stassi led him. Stassi: "You better," She teased. She was excited to start their very own family and she knew their kids would be very loved. She laughed, squeezing his hand. "Oh hush, Mr. Healy. I'll give you a back massage later," She said, leading him to the nursery. "Ok, I slaved over this for weeks, alright? No sleep, taking off work early and it is perfect." She opened the door to the nursery and led Isaac inside, letting go of his hand. "Open," She said and squealed. It was painted blue, the crib was set up, with letters spelling Camden painted light blue above the crib. The changing table and dresser was set up and balloons saying 'It's a boy' were in the room. "I was going to do a scavenger hunt thing but since I got sick at work, I didn't really feel up to it but I finished it and I couldn't wait, so surprise." She said, her excitement was unable to be hid. Isaac: He wondered what his wife was up too as she led him down the hallway to the room they had decided would be the nursery. At Stassi's command, Isaac opened the door and his mouth fell open. The room was painted with the name Camden on the wall and balloons all over the place. He turned to Stassi, happy tears in his eyes, "were having a boy?" Stassi: She smiled, nodding her head. "Yeah." She let out a squeal. "Surprise." She said again. Stassi loved seeing Isaac happy. She reached up and wiped the tears from his eyes. "I found out about a month or so ago and I wanted to surprise you." She bit her lower lip and smiled once again, happy tears forming in her eyes as well. "We're having a boy." She said, a bright smile on her face and squeezed his hand. "Do you have any idea how hard it was to do all this while you're sleeping?" She a added with a laugh, wiping her tears away. "Do you like it?," She asked softly. Isaac: He laughed hugging Stassi as tightly as possible, unable to remove the grin plastered across his face. "I love it baby. I am so excited." He walked over to the crib, imagining his first son laying in it. "The world will be blessed with a second Camden Healy." A day didn't go by when Isaac didn't miss his older brother, and he was ecstatic that they had both agreed to name their son after him. "I can't believe you did all of this by yourself. You didn't work too hard though I hope. I mean we gotta keep my boy and my woman safe." He smiled to her, taking her hand in his. Stassi: "Good. I'm glad." She couldn't wipe the smile off her face. All she wanted was to make Isaac happy and if he was happy, so was she. She followed him over to the crib and looked up at him. "I wish I could have met him. Do you think he'd like me?," She asked, biting her lower lip. "Camden Simon Healy," She pushed a strand of hair behind her ear and flashed a weak smile in his direction. She looked down at their hands together, and shrugged her shoulders. "Eh. The smile on your face tells me all the hard work was worth it," She said. All Stassi ever wanted to do was make Isaac happy, and if he wasn't happy then she wasn't either. Stassi squeezed his hand, "I have another surprise for you. I didn't really have time to put it up but I think you'll like it. It's in my office." She said, trying to contain a squeal. Isaac: It was amazing to Isaac, how after all this time, Stassi's beautiful smile still made his heart race. They had been through hell and back but it had only made them seonger. "He would have loved you. He would have loved you more, just because you love me, flaws and all." He smiled wider at her, watching her features light up with excitement. She was glowing, that was for sure. "Another surprise? I'm not sure anything could be better than this my love." Stassi: She looked down for a moment then back up at him. "I fell in love with that brain of yours first and then I fell in love with you. All of you. Your flaws were what made you, you. The guy I fell madly in love with. I couldn't imagine myself with anyone else. I fall more and more in love with you every day. You're my world. You and our son are my entire world." She smiled, kissing his cheek. Isaac was one of the smartest people she knew. Even when he didn't believe that he was, she knew better. "Compared to this it's lame but I'm gonna go get it." She let go of his hand and walked into her office and grabbed the picture frame out of her desk drawer and walked back into the nursery, and handed it to Isaac. "It's his latest ultrasound. So I put it in a blue frame and put his name in sticker letters in the bottom corner." She smiled brightly. "I was going to put it up but I couldn't stand in the chair and reach that high without falling. So now you can put it on your desk or something and once he gets here you can put an actual picture of him in it." Isaac: He smiled at her, "I love you more than I can ever tell you. I only wish you had gotten a chance to meet my brother. He was funny, brave, confident, many things I will never be, but we were brothers, and I wish he was here to see how happy I am now." He watched as she walked away, smiling as he sat down in the rocking chair in the nursury. Despite his height, it was very comfortable. He took the picture frame from Stassi looking at it. A beautiful ultrasound photo with the name on it. "I'm going to take this to work so I can look at it every day. I'll put it right next to my photo of you.." He beamed proudly at her. Stassi: She frowned listening to him then shook her head, placing her hands on his cheeks. "You are funny, confident and brave just like him. You're kind and compassionate and to me you are perfect. My perfect thing, Isaac Healy." She smiled, "You're strong, and you're smart and you're mine. Everyday I wake up and you're still there beside me and I wonder how the hell you haven't gotten tired of me yet," She dropped her hands and took his hand again and squeezed it. "I love you, so much." She raised an eyebrow and laughed. "A picture of me? How about that replaces the picture of me, yeah?," She smiled brightly, then pulled him up. "Come on. Let's go downstairs. My feet hurt and I'm pretty sure your son is hungry." Isaac: He laughed lightly, smiling at his wife, "Well I don't know about all those things, but it means the world to me that you believe that about me." He grinned again, looking into her beautiful eyes. "I don't think I would ever get tired of you. You're everything I ever wanted or needed, and you definitely know how to keep things interesting." He winked at the last part, teasing his wife. "Yes, a picture of you... okay, well its our wedding photo, but I still love looking at it. and nope. Not replaceing it. I've got room for several photos on my desk" He smiled getting up from the chair and headed towards the stairs so he could feed his loves.

The Heart Brings You Back || Staissac
Stassi: After her mother did her hair, Stassi got the rest she promised her mother she would get. But now, she was wide awake and was having a hard time getting back to sleep. She was anxious, she just wanted to see Isaac. She wanted to see him smile, to kiss him, to hear his heartbeat when she laid her head on his chest to fall asleep. She just needed to see him. She was almost comfy when she heard the door open and saw Isaac come through the door. "Hey baby," She said with a smile. Isaac: Jumping out of the shower, Isaac practically ran to his truck and sped out of the parking lot. The message Issac had recieved from Caterina had been a bit cryptic, and he didn't really know what to expect. All she had told him was to the hurry to the hospital, so thats what he did. He walked into the hospital. He opened the door to Stassi's room tenatively unsure what he would find on the other side. When he saw Stassi awake and smiling. He took a step back and sank down against the wall breathing out a sigh of relief as tears of joy went over his eyes.
Stassi: Seeing Isaac take a step back and sink to the floor, Stassi frowned. She just wanted to touch him, kiss him, and see him smile. Throwing the blankets back, she fought against the pain that was shooting through her body and climbed out of her bed. She made her way over towards Isaac and kneeled down in front of him, placing her hands on his cheeks, wiping his tears away. "Hey, it's okay. Don't cry. I'm okay," She kissed his lips softly and pulled away, "I'm sorry." She said softly. Isaac: His mind had barely registered what happened before she was next to him. He wrapped his arms around her, like he never wanted to let her go. "I thought I lost you Stass." His words were simple, but he knew they were enough. He stood up, gently helping her back to the bed before scooting in next to her. "I don't know what I would have done if I lost you." Stassi: She smiled feeling his arms around her. She shook her head, looking up at him. "I told you always and forever. I'm not going anywhere, okay? I'm never leaving you." Once back in her bed, she smiled as he scooted in next to her and laid her head on his chest. "You would have put a smile on your face and live your life, because I'd want you to. But you will never have to worry about losing me. You are my world. I am never going anywhere," She flashed a weak smile and took his hand, lacing their fingers together. Isaac: "Dont ever do anything like this to me again." He said, not in a rude way, just emphasizing that if it happened again he might not make it. "I don't think I could have. I don't know if you understand Stassi." He sighed, "I'm a broken guy, I've lost everyone important to me, and I've been through more in 19 years than most people go through in a lifetime. My heart is being held together by band aids, and those bandages? That's you. Without you everything falls apart again, and I don't have the strength to put it together again." Stassi: "I won't, I'm sorry." She didn't like seeing Isaac this upset and knowing it was because of her. She frowned tilting her head to the side. "Baby.." Her voice trailed off as tears streamed down her cheeks. "I promise I'm not going anywhere. You have been through so much and it breaks my heart because no one should have to go through that. I wish that I could take your pain away. You will never, ever be without me, I promise you. Your heart will stay intact. You are my heart, my soul, my love,my everything." She looked down for a minute then back up at him. "I wanna marry you." Isaac: He wanted to ask her why she got into the car with her sister in the first place, but at the same time, he knew he would have time for that another day. Right now, he just wanted to hold Stassi and be with her in the moment. "I want to marry you too. You're the only person I would ever spend my life with. I want to grow old and have beautiful babies, and sit on a porch drinking lemonade with you into early retirement. But give me a chance to make this a little more romantic okay?" He smiled, the first time he had smiled since he first found out she was in the hospital. Stassi: "Babies, huh? How's my were you thinking? Our first son has to be named Camden of course." She looked up at with a smile. Her smile widened when she saw his smile. "Make what more romantic?," She asked raising an eyebrow. She bit her lip as she thought for a moment. "What would you say to moving into the guest house at my mom's?," She asked softly. "I know you don't want to leave your friends but it would be fun. We could make one of the spare room or the basement your man cave, and you can invite them over and play games or that can be where you go when you get sick of seeing my face. I don't know. I mean, it would be nice because we wouldn't have to worry about anyone barging in when we want to be alone and yeah.." She allowed her voice to trail off and shrugged her shoulders. She thought it would be nice for them, and the idea of it excited her. Isaac: A huge but almost sad smile spread across his face, "really? You would be okay with naming our first son Camden?" He of course had always hoped to name one of his future kids Camden, but he hadn't ever said anything about it to Stassi before. "I would love to have have 2 or 3 or 10 kids with you babe. A whole big family that's ours." When she raised an eyebrow to him he shrugged his shoulders like it was an obvious answer, "to ask you to marry me, of course." He mulled over the idea of moving into Stassi's guest house. He didn't want to be an inconvenience to Caterina, but he did like the idea. "I would, and it would definitely save on gas, but I wouldn't want to ask your mom to clean out her stuff in there or anything." Stassi: "Of course I would be. Why wouldn't I be okay with that?," She asked with a smile. Her smile widened as he mentioned them having a big family. "I'd love that. A big family. I've always wanted a big family," She moved around to get comfortable as pain surged through her. She knew she should probably take her pain meds but she didn't want to right now. They made her sleepy and she didn't want to fall asleep on him. She laughed, "I knew what you were talking about I just wanted to hear you say it. We both know what my answer will be but asking is romantic." She kissed him deeply when he said he would move into the guest house. "She doesn't have anything there. There's nothing there except the furniture Daddy bought. It was my sister's then she moved out with her boyfriend and Daddy changed the locks." She kissed him again, "How's Maxie?" Isaac: He smiled back at her shrugging his shoulders at her question, "I don't know, I just didn't even know you remembered what his name was." He wrapped an arm around her gently so he didn't hurt her more than she already was. "Me too. Most of my life it's been just me, or me and my brother. I want to have enough kids so if something happens with one of us they can rely on each other. " he knew that his kids would never have parents like his dad, but he couldn't guarantee something wouldn't happen like it did with his mom. " alright then once we get you out of here, Maxie and I will move into the guest house. Maxie is doing great. He misses you though. He sleeps on your side of the bed." Stassi: "He's your brother. I remember everything you tell me," She shrugged her shoulders and smiled. She smiled feeling his arm around her. It was funny how with just one movement he could make her feel so safe. She smiled, nodding her head. "I know what you mean." She frowned biting her lower lip. Though it was a part of life, the idea of something happening to Isaac scared her. She looked down for minute then back up at him, "I've almost lost you twice. That's two times too many. I couldn't handle actually losing you. Because just thinking I had destroyed me." She said softly. She smiled, "I can't wait. I wish dogs were allowed up here. I miss him too." Isaac: "Then it's settled." He said with a smirk, "we will just have to die together in each others arms like those old people in the notebook." He knew it was a little corny, and that he couldn't exactly promise when they would die, life tended to be unexpected at times, but it sure sounded like a good way to go to him. He gently kissed her temple, "yeah I wish they did too, but I know my roommates are taking good care of him, probably feeding him lots of good treats and stuff." He laid there silent for a few minutes before exhaling a deep breath letting himself finally relax. "I guess when I leave here I should start packing my stuff, I mean I don't have much, but still." Stassi: She smiled nodding, "Dying together sounds great." She knew better than to think that something like that could happen. She smiled when he kissed her temple. She was safe. "Have I ever told you how safe I feel when I'm with you," She asked softly. She smiled, nodding her head. "Good. I'm not so worried about him since he's in good hands." She reached over taking a couple of her pain meds then cuddled back into him and nodded her head. "Yes you should, and move it into our house and yeah..." Her voice trailed off as she closed her eyes then opened them. "And move in Maxie's stuff too. Please don't leave yet," She spoke softly, her eyes closing. Isaac: He liked knowing that he made Stassi feel safe. It was a relief that he wasn't only dependent on Stassi, but she too was dependent on him. "Have I ever told you I feel safest when you are right here in my arms?" He questioned back rhetorically. Isaac watched as she swallowed her pain meds, hoping that holding her like this wasn't causing her any pain. He could tell she was getting sleepy, so he kissed the top of her head again saying "Shhhh, go to sleep love. I'm not going anywhere."

Life is Short || Isaac and Caterina
Caterina: After hearing of Stassi's accident, Caterina called her husband, not wanting to be alone. She was livid with her oldest daughter driving under the influence with Stassi in the car. She knew Lissandra could be reckless but she didn't think she could be this reckless. Once Stassi was put in a room, she didn't want to leave. When Lorenzo left to take care of last minute things at work, she called Isaac, he needed to know after all. When they hung up, she couldn't take her eyes off Stassi, feeling that if she did, she would somehow miss something. Though she knew Isaac would come, she was still surprised when he opened the door. She smiled, getting up from the chair and walked over to him and hugged him tightly. "You didn't have to come sweetheart, but I'm glad you did." Isaac: Seeing Caterinas name on his caller id, Isaac knew something was wrong, and when she said Stassi had been in a car accident, he could feel his stomach drop. Without another word, he grabbed his keys and made his way to the hospital. He wiped his eyes as he walked insidd and up to the room she told him Stassi was in. He stood quietly by he door hjs heart breakinbg in a million pieces as he saw he love of his life laying there wih tubes going every which way. " what-- uhm--"he was having a hard time making the words come out of his mouth. "What happened to her?" Caterina: Seeing Isaac so upset broke her heart. "They were coming back from a party and her sister ran a red light and a car hit them out of nowhere," She took a deep breath in an effort to keep from crying. "She has some broken ribs, and a collapsed lung." She looked towards Stassi then back at him, with a small smile and tears welling up in her eyes. "Come here." She said softly, taking him by the arm and leading him over to the large chair, letting him have the spot closest to Stassi and sat down next to him. She looked from Stassi to him a few times, "You know, they say you can talk to them, that they can hear you. You can talk to her if you want." Isaac: He nodded his head, following Stassi's mother and sitting down in the chair next to her. He gently grabbed on to Stassi's hand hoping he could keep himself from crying in front of Caterina. Isaac nodded his head again at her words, but didn't say anything. He didn't want to talk to Stassi right now, he knew if he even attempted to, he would loose it. Isaac liked Caterina, and he trusted her a lot, but he didn't want her to see him completely break down. "Where they drinking?" Isaac asked, concerned. He didn't think Stassi would ever drink and drive, but he didn't know about her older sister. Caterina: "Yes," She said slowly. "Her sister was way over the legal limit and had a mix of drugs in her system too. Her sister was driving. Stassi is way too smart to drink and drive. Her sisters boyfriend said that Stassi wanted them to stay in a room at the party until morning or at least drive up to a hotel nearby," Her mother sighed, wiping tears away then looked over at him. She could see how upset he was, and her crying probably wouldn't help him very much. "She will be okay, I promise." She said with a weak smile then took a deep breath. "i talk to Stassi's father a lot, and you're always mentioned at least once. I know that your mom died when you were a baby and your father wasn't very nice. But Lorenzo and I--" She let her voice trail off as she thought for a moment, "We just want you to know that we will both be here for you, look after you the best way we can and love you regardless. Everyone needs to have that parental figure in their life and we want to be that for you. People you can come to for advice. You are a big part of our daughter's life. Since she's met you she has been the happiest she has ever been." She looked down once more then wrapped her arms around Isaac in a hug. Isaac: He rubbed his hands over his face and then into his hair. "I don't understand why she didn't just call me. She knows I would have picked her up." He should his head. He didn't understand why Stassi would get into the car with her sister, he just couldn't comprehend it. Isaac looked at Stassi's mom as she spoke, and this time, he didn't try and wipe the tears away as she talked about how they would be surrogate parent figures for him. He hugged her tightly, and nodded his head. "Thank you, I appretiate it really." He continued hugging Caterina for a few minutes before he spoke, his words barely coming out. "I don't know how to be without her. I don't know if I can." He knew he should think positive, but Isaac was used to the worst case scenario always happening to him. He'd been given a pretty tough life, why would this be any different.
Caterina: She sighed looking at Isaac. "I don't know why she didn't either. The only thing I can think of is that it was late," Caterina didn't always understand Stassi's thinking. She smiled as Isaac thanked her, unable to keep her own tears from falling. "We consider you part of the family. You are part of the family," She pulled away from the hug to look at him, "You won't have to be without her, okay? She'll wake up, and she will go home and you will be able to hold her, to kiss her, and laugh with her." She smiled, and kissed his forehead, "I love you, honey and I am so glad she has found someone like you." Isaac: "I wouldn't have cared." He knew Stassi had her reasons, but none of that mattered to him. All that mattered was Stassi waking uop. He dropped his arms as Caterina pulled away from the hug. He was so greatful for Stassi's mom, and all her support. He wasn't sure how to express his feelings to her yet though. It wasn't something he was good at to anyone, and he hadn't ever really had parents he loved before. "I'm glad I found her too." He couldn't get rid of the sadness that was taking over him. He reached into his pocket and downed a couple of his anti-depressents. All he wanted to do is what Caterina had said. He wanted to hold her, and kiss her and talk to her, but it wasn't possible right now, so instead, he scooted closer to the bed, and rested his head next to Stassi's hand.

Sometimes We Need an Extra Dose of Happiness|| Staissac
Isaac: The last couple months had been a rollercoaster for Isaac. So much had happened, so much had changed, that Isaac found himself a little bit lost. He didn't have a job, only schooling, and he was begining to feel like he needed a little extra something in his life. And not just him, Stassi needed it too. So when he was walking to the store earlier in the day, and he walked by the pet store, it was like a lightbulb went off in Isaac's head. A puppy would be the perfect thing to bring a little bit of extra happiness into both Isaacs and Stassi's life. So when he knew Stassi would be home, Isaac called her, asking her to meet him in the park. He wanted to surprise her with getting a chance to pick out their first pet together. Stassi: Between everything that happened to Isaac and what happened to her a couple weeks ago, it seemed that the world was not letting the couple be happy. After coming home from a long day at the auto shop, Stassi stomped through the house and collapsed onto her bed. The past couple weeks had slowly gotten easier but there were still times she wanted to curl up into a ball and cry anytime she thought about it. She closed her eyes for a split second until she heard her phone ring, and smiled when she saw Isaac's name on her caller ID. After the phone call, she threw on her jacket and grabbed her keys and her phone and walked to the park. She was highly curious of what Isaac had planned for them. Arriving at the park and seeing Isaac, she ran over to him and wrapped her arms around him, kissing him deeply, "Hey handsome." Isaac: He smiled as Stassi walked up to him, kissing her back. "So, I was walking in town today and I came up with a brilliant Idea. But its a surprise." He took her hand in his, giving her a reassuring squeeze. He couldn't wipe the smile off his face as he lead her towards the pet store. He opened the door to the shop and motioned for Stassi to enter first. Stassi: She raised an eyebrow and nodded when he said it was a surprise. "Alright. I'll take your word for it." She smiled taking his hand, the whole wondering what he could possibly have up his sleeve. When they stopped in front of the pet shop, she smiled looking up at him then let out a squeal, kissing his cheek. Walking inside, she couldn't wipe the smile off her face. "I'm going to take a guess and say we're getting us a dog?," She asked softly. To some, this probably wouldn't have been a big deal but this meant the world to her. Isaac: The squeal and look of joy on Stassis face was enough to let Isaac know he had made the right decision. He held her hand tightly as they walked in the store. "Yep! I was thinking we both need something good in our lives right now, and what's better than mad best friend?" Isaac smiled, walking over to the area where they had the puppies a cute little husky catching his eye. "What kind of dogs do you like?" He asked her "that one sure looks adorable." He pointed to the dog who was looking back at them. It had one brown eye and one blue eye, and Isaac could swear it was smiling at them Stassi: She smiled, looking down at their hands then back up at him, kissing him softly. "You know just how to make me happy." She shrugged her shoulders as they walked over to the puppies, her eyes scanning the cute little sweaters then turned her attention to Isaac. "I like bulldogs and.." Her voice trailed off and she looked down at the small husky, "It's so cute." Isaac: "I try. I love making you happy." Isaac smiled, walking around and looking at all the puppies, "Bulldogs are cute too." Isaac himself, liked a bit bigger dog, but having a big dog definitely wouldn't make sense now, especially since his apartments wouldn't allow big dogs, so he looked in the cages, until he saw a mixed breed puppy that was by himself. He had a sad look on his face, and in that moment, Isaac knew this dog needed them just as much as they needed him. "Babe, look." He said, taking Stassi's attention away from the husky. Stassi: "You always do," She smiled looking around with Isaac. "But you want a bigger dog," She said with a smile. In the pet store, Stassi was like a little kid and couldn't help but get excited seeing all the puppies. She had always wanted a dog growing up but her dad was allergic. "Huh?," She asked, looking away from the husky and over to where Isaac was looking. She knew this was the dog for them. "Baby, it's so cute and it looks so sad. I want him. Can we get him, please?" She asked, poking Isaac's arm. Isaac: He smiled, nodding his head. "I think he's perfect." Isaac walked over to one of the store workers, and told them they wanted to buy the puppy. After all the paperwork was done, they bought some cute toys and things for him, and took him out of the store. Isaac, couldn't stop smiling, watching Stassi with the dog. It was so cute, and he could tell that he had made the right choice getting a dog with her. Stassi was his only family, and now he had another member to add to his family too.

Cries in the Dark || Staissac
Stassi: After getting off the phone with Isaac, Stassi brought her knees up to her chest and broke down crying again. She replayed the ordeal in her head, despite trying to push them back from her mind. Though she knew differently, a part of her couldn't help but think that it was all her fault. Hearing the locker room door open, Stassi jumped and looked towards the door, a smile appearing on her face once she saw Isaac. Despite the amount of pain she was in, she got up from the floor and ran over to him and wrapped her arms around him tightly. "Please don't let me go," She spoke softly. Isaac: In the weeks following his failed attempt at suicide, Isaac had been seeing a therapist every other day, he had been taking new medication, and he had been throwing himself into school and work, determine to make his life worth something. Admits studying for his exam in chemistry, Isaac heard his phone ringing, and smiled seeing Stassi's name appearing on the caller id. Her voice as he answered though, made his blood run cold. She was in trouble. Isaac grabbed his keys and ran to his truck, speeding all the way to the school till he got there and ran in to the locker room. Seeing Stassi on the floor, her clothes all torn, Isaac rushed to meet her. He swooped her into his arms holding on as tight as he possibly could, and carried her swiftly out of the school and to his truck. He wasn't sure what had happened, but he wanted to get her out of there as soon as possible. Stassi: Once Isaac got into the truck, Stassi rested her head on his shoulder. She was safe. "Thank you," She looked up at him then let out a sigh and closed her eyes then opened them. "Take me back to your apartment, please?," She asked, and remained silent the rest of the way to the apartment. She didn't want to be anywhere else, she just wanted to be with him. Stassi looked down at her clothes, and messed with the hem of her shirt. Sitting up, she winced as pain shot up her body and she looked over at Isaac. "Can I stay with you until my mom gets back? I don't want to be alone." She asked, biting her lower lip. Isaac: He still wasn't sure what happened, but his heart was breaking at the sight of Stassi like this. "Are you okay? I think we should go to the hospital first." He said his arm around her tightly as he drove with the other. "You're always welcome at my apartment." He said, driving back to his place. He parked in his spot and opened the door, he hand staying locked with gets. He was afraid to let her go. Isaac had never seen Stassi look this vulnerable vefore, and the fact that she needed him was the only thing stopping him from finding whoever did this to her and making them suffer. Stassi: She shook her head when he mentioned going to the hospital. When they got to his apartment and walked inside, Stassi walked back to his room and sat on his bed. She looked down at her hands and rubbed her hands together as if she was trying to get something off. "How well do you know Ryan? The guy on the football team. Tall, brown hair." She asked softly. She wasn't used to letting people see her this vulnerable, but Isaac was the one person she felt comfortable enough with. She sighed looking down at her wrists then up at him. She knew he would want to know, so she pushed a strand of hair behind her ear and played with her fingers. "So, as you know I went up to the school to help Mrs. Clarke and Charlie with something. Afterwards, I was walking to my car and I was pulled into the locker room. Including Ryan there were 3 guys in there." She bit her lip to try and keep the tears from falling. "Ryan threw me on the ground and I tried to get away but one of the guys grabbed my wrists and the other kicked me." Isaac: Isaac sighed, when Stassi didn't want to go to the hospital, but he went back to his place anyway, unlocking the front door, and following Stassi back to his room. "I've never really spent any time with him outside of school, So I can't say I know him very well." As Stassi explained what happens, Isaac didn't know what emotion he was feeling stronger, compassion and the need to comfort Stassi, or anger and the need to murder those guys. He let the compassion take him and moved to the bed, wrapping Stassi in his arms. He had seen in tv shows and stuff, that often when this stuff happened girls would push guys away, but he hoped Stassi wouldn't do this, because he didn't know how else to help
STASSI: Stassi nodded her head, biting her lower lip when he said he didn't know him very well. When he wrapped his arms around her, she jumped, then wrapped her arms around him and relaxed. He was the one thing that made her feel safe. After a few minutes, she pulled away and laid her head in his lap and looked up at him. "Do-Do you have a shirt I can wear?," She asked softly.

While unconscious, Isaac dreams that he has died, and he’s met his brother again.
CAMDEN: Isaac, what are you trying to do. Why would you do this? This isn’t the way your life is supposed to end!
ISAAC: I know, I know, but I just couldn’t take it anymore.
CAMDEN: Did you think about anyone else? What about Stassi? Isaac, I know I wasn’t able to be there for you, to protect you from dad, and help guide you into manhood, but that doesn’t mean I’m not proud of you. I am proud of you Isaac. You’ve made it through the worst times, only to give up now? Stassi is going to be heartbroken. She’ll never move on.
ISAAC: You–you’re proud of me? I know but its like I’m in this constant darkness that doesn’t go away. She will definitely move on. She’s pretty and smart, she’ll find someone new.
CAMDEN: Of course I am. And Its called depression Isaac. You can take medication, talk to a counselor, I can’t guaruntee that it will ever go away fully, but you don’t have to go it alone. And she won’t move on. She’s given you her heart, and you should know from her past, she doesn’t give it easily, and chances are there’s not going to be anyone else strong enough or patient enough to break down her walls again.
ISAAC: So how do I fix it?
CAMDEN: You go get help. You wake up, and you stay in the hospital as long as they say, and you talk to someone. You get medication, and you see a therapist. Its going to be a bumpy road, but I promise, it will be worth it. I’m always here. In your heart. So go Isaac. Make me proud. Be a better man than our father ever was. Live a long life, have lots of children, and enjoy every minute of it. Lifes short enough as it is. Don’t try and make it shorter by trying to kill yourself.
ISAAC: Thank you Cam.

Half a bottle of pain medication and half a fifth of vodka sat on the sink in Isaacs bathrrom, and he stood there, staring at his reflection. The dark circles under his eyes said more than Isaac could probably ever put into words. He was tired– no, exhausted. Trying to put on this happy “everything-is-fine” facade was wearing him down and tonight had been the final straw. He didn’t want to fight his inner demons any longer, and since he had already drank the first half of the fifth that now sat on his white stone bathroom counter, those inner demons were taunting him louder than ever.
This wasn’t the first time Isaac had thought about killing himself. He had thought about it several times as a child and growing up when his dad would beat him and tell him he wasn’t good enough. He almost even tried it once, but then a kind person saw him standing on the bridge that night, and as if they knew what he was thinking, they helped him, encouraged him to turn his dad into the police. After that, things in his life started changing, and Isaac didn’t think he would ever consider it again.
Here he was though, at ten o'clock on a sunday night. Stassi was working, his best friends were out hanging out with some girls, and Isaac was left alone to face his inner battles. He had already had a tough day at work, dealing with shitty customer after shitty customer. Then his manager had to come and show him how to do something on the new cash register, the whole time mumbling how Isaac was an idiot for not being able to figure it out himself.
Just swallow the pills and everything will be better. I won’t have to feel like this anymore, he was thinking to himself. He should have known better. He should have known that it wouldn’t help anything. But he was tired of waiting, tired of people telling him that things got better in time, or that it would all be alright. It wasn’t alright, and he didn’t want to wait anymore. His friends could find a new roommate, and Stassi, while she would probably miss him, would eventually move on.
Stassi. He couldn’t leave without at least saying goodbye to her. He quickly walked into his room and grabbed his notebook, writing her a letter.
[LETTER HERE and HERE].
Setting the notebook on his desk, Isaac wiped the tears from his eyes, and sent a single text to Stassi:
Isaac: I love you. I'm sorry I couldn't fix myself. I left you a letter on my desk.
Then he walked into the bathroom. He put his favorite song Whispers in The Dark by Skillet on repeat, and turned up the music volume on his iHome, and walked into the bathroom. Grabbing the pill bottle, and the vodka, and swolling down all of both. Then he sat down against the wall in his bathroom, and let the music take him away.

I Love you but I’ve Choosen Darkness || Staissac
Stassi: Since coming home, Stassi hadn't gotten out of bed to do much of anything except sleep. Looking around her room, she was nervous as she wasnt sure what this would be like. Lookin at her reflection in the mirror, she groaned. It was obvious she had been crying and she hated it. Pulling her hair into a ponytail, she let out a sigh. She looked up when Isaac came into her room, and bit her lower lip. She wasnt sure what to say, so she went with the usual, "Hey," She said softly.
Isaac: Isaac had been avoiding this for long enough. He knew seeing Stassi and going to her house would be hard, but as he nervously waited for Caterina to let him in, he knew it was too late to leave now. Isaac walked inside the house and up to Stassi's room, knocking lightly before entering. He walked in and stood awkwardly in the door frame, "hey." He replied simply nodding his head. He could tell she had been crying and all he wanted to do was run to her and wrap her in his arms, but she had broken up with him, and he wasn't allowed to do that anymore. Stassi: She took a deep breath, looking up at him. "Before you take your stuff, I need to talk to you. The reason I broke up with you, it wasnt because I don't love you." Stassi needed him to know why she did it, otherwise she knew that it wouldn't be possible for them to get back together. Isaac: He looked down at the ground as she spoke, not wanting to make eye contact. "You've said that. But I don't see what any other reason would be. I mean--" he sighed, "look you don't know how hard it was for me to even come over here okay? So unless you actually have a reason, can I just get my stuff?" He didn't want to be hostile towards her. In fact he wanted to be the opposite, but being cold and showing no emotion was his go-to security. When he was hurting or angry with his dad he would close off, and try and cover his feelings with a layer of his trademark stoic-ness. Stassi: At his hostility, Stassi instantly regretted opening her mouth, but she needed to tell him. Taking a deep breath, she played with the edge of her blanket. "I broke up with you because I thought I was pregnant and I didnt know who the father would be and it made me realize that I am the biggest slut on the planet and I hated myself for it, and I knew with where I was at and how I was feeling that I'd only bring you down with me, and I didnt want that." She looked down, scared to make eye contact for a moment then looked back at Isaac. "Then I took a test, and it came back positive but I ended up losing it this morning." She shrugged her shoulders, tears starting to stream down her cheeks. "I took the test though because I was certain we'd get back together and I needed to know, so, if you're certain we'll get back together, don't take your stuff but if you know we won't, then take it." Isaac: He dead panned, listening to what she was saying. She was more promiscuous than Isaac, but he never once considered her a slut. Still the idea of her being pregnant with another guys baby did hurt him. When she said she lost the baby, Isaac gave up trying to hold back and instead moved to the bed and wrapped her in a hug. "Of course I want us to get back together. I love you Stassi, it never changed or went away." He grabbed on of her hands and slowly interlocked their fingers. Stassi: As he hugged her and interlocked their fingers, she wiped her eyes. "I love you so much and I never meant to hurt you. You mean the world to me, and I'm so sorry. But I want you, I do. Always and forever." She took a deep breath. All she wanted was Isaac, and no matter what that would never change. "I'm really sorry," she said again. She knew how badly she had hurt him, and that breaking up with him was selfish on her part. Isaac: He pulled their interlocked hands up and kissed the top of her softly. "Just please, promise me it won't happen again okay? If something's going on just talk to me. I don't know that I could survive another breakup. " He didn't want to loose Stassi ever again and he knew he would do everything he could to be sure it didn't happen. He kicked off his shoes and made himself comfortable against the headboard of her bed, letting out a sigh. For the first time since their break up, he felt like he could breathe again.
STASSI: She took a deep breath and turned to look him in the eye. "I promise, that it won't happen again. I love you so much and I swear if anything is ever going on I will talk to you. I know I couldn't handle another breakup either." She leaned over and kissed him deeply. Isaac was Stassi's entire world, and she hated herself for hurting him like this. She smiled as he made himself comfortable on her bed and scooted over closer to him. "stay the night?" She asked, looking up at him.

Stassi’s Mom gets in Isaacs line at the grocery store 2 days after they break up.
CATERINA: Hello Isaac.
ISAAC: *He hadn’t been paying attention, but he puts on a fake smmile for a second as he sees stassi’s mother* Oh, hello Caterina. Uhm– paper or plastic?
CATERINA: Isaac you look terrible.
ISAAC: Well I Uh–
CATERINA: Have you been taking your medications?
ISAAC: *He shakes his head, looking down at the items he’s bagging, avoiding eye contact.*
CATERINA: She misses you, you know that? She looks just about as bad as you do.
ISAAC: Really? I find that hard to believe.
CATERINA: She’s working through something right now. I promise, if you give her time, she’ll come back around.
ISAAC: Yeah.. well uh, Im sure she knows where to find me. It’s not like I have anyone or anywhere else to go. *He hands her the grocery bag, and puts the lane closed sign up, stepping out through the employee lounge to the curb out back, lighting up a cigarette, and stealing a drink from the water bottle filled with vodka that he brought to work.*

Isaac laid on the floor in his room, not feeling like moving up to his bed. He stared at the ceiling for several minutes, before reaching over to the half empty bottle of whiskey beside him and taking another gulp. He was stupid to think that Stassi could really love him like he loved her. His father had told him time and time again that he was a poor excuse for a human being. Maybe it was time Isaac realized it. He messed everything up, even when he wasn’t trying. Why should this be any different?
He stood up from his spot on the floor, grabbing his bottle of whiskey and walked to his bathroom, looking at himself in the mirror. “You’re so dumb.” He said to his reflection, balling up his fist and punching the mirror. The glass broke under his fist, and when he pulled his hand back, he saw the blood coming from his knuckles. He hit the mirror, again and again, until finally collapsing on the floor next to the tub.
Why wasn’t he good enough? Why didn’t he deserve better. He didn’t know the reason, but it seemed like life wanted to keep throwing him shit. He picked up his bottle of whiskey chugging some more back until he didn’t feel anything else.

Some You Give Away || Staissac
Stassi: Climbing off her bed, Stassi slid on a pair of heels and walked into the guest room and grabbed her cousins leather jacket. Sighing, she walked downstairs, telling him and his wife she'd be back later. Walking out the door, she looked through her text messages with Isaac, and headed towards the park where she told him to meet her at. She shoved her phone into the pocket of her shorts and let out a sigh. She was nervous for this conversation because she knew what would come of it. She knew she had been different the past few days; not talking much, not wanting to go out. Arriving at the park, Stassi bit her lower lip as she sat down on a park bench next to Isaac. "I um, I need to talk to you," She said, her voice a little shaky. She didnt want to do this, but felt like she had to. Isaac: Isaac had finally gone back to work today, and though he was still in physical therapy and standing for long periods of time, it felt good to be getting back to his life. When Stassi texted him to meet him in the park, he knew something was up, but he shrugged it off. Hanging up his apron and clocking out of work for the day, Isaac got into his truck and drove to the park. He went and at at the nearest picnic table to wait for Stassi. He smiled when she came over and sat next to him, but was a little surprised when she didn't give him a kiss or even a smile in return. He took a deep breath, and nodded his head, "So whats up?" Stassi: Seeing his smile, Stassi's heart sank. She felt horrible for what she was about to do but she knew she had to do it, she only hoped that Isaac wouldn't end up hating her. "How was work?," She looked down and took his hand and played with his fingers, not wanting to look up at him but did anyway. "You know I love you, right?," She asked. "But I um, I..." She let her voice trail off, her stomach in knots. Isaac: "It was good, feels nice to be getting back to routine." He could tell Stassi was nervous, and he couldn't shake the nagging feeling in the pit of his stomach that something bad was gonna happen. "And I love you Stassi, but what's going on?" He questioned. Stassi: "Good, I'm glad," She nodded her head, "right. Um...I uh..This is going to sound horrible, I know, but things have kind of come up and I uh.." She groaned, putting her hands up to her face then removed them. She didnt want to do this, not at all. She could feel that she was going to cry and tried biting her lip, but it wasnt any help, the tears came flooding anyway. "I can't do this. I can't be with you. I love you so much, don't think for a second that I don't." Isaac: He was flabbergasted by what she said, he didn't think she was going to break up with him. Not after everything that had happened. "Are you seriously breaking up with me?" He asked, eyebrows raised in a look of shock. "How can you say you love me but that you want to break up with me? Stassi: She shook her head, full on crying. "It's not that easy. I don't want to." Stassi didn't want to, but she felt like she needed to because where she was at and how she was feeling right now, she couldn't give him what she felt he deserved. "But I need to, because right now with how I'm feeling and what's going on, I can't make you happy. I can't be what you deserve. I love you so much and this kills me." Isaac: He rose from his seat on the bench emotions like anger, hurt and confusion boiling out of him. "Then why are you doing this?!" He yelled, his voice about ten levels louder then it was earlier. "What do you mean how you feel? 24 hours ago everything seemed fine, and now you are breaking up with me." Her comment about not being what he deserved cut him deep, because in his eyes, he didn't deserve someone as wonderful as her. He wondered if maybe she was starting to realize that. "You're right. You deserve better than me." He said quietly, grabbing his jacket and turning away from Stassi, "Goodbye Stassi." He said walking away, the one good thing in his life now over with.
STASSI: When he yelled, Stassi jumped. She had never heard him raise his voice like that in the years she had known him. She shook her head, biting her lower lip. "You won't understand. I don't want to, but because of stuff I need to. It doesn't change how I feel about you at all. You are the greatest thing in my life and I love you so much," She knew there was nothing she could say to make him see that she was sorry. When he said she deserved better than him, Stassi felt her heart break more than it was already and her hurt turned into anger, and she grabbed his arm. "Don't ever say that I deserve better than you, because you're all I want," She let go of his arm and watched as he walked away. This was it, they were over and there was nothing Stassi could do to change it.

Desperate Kingdom of Love || Staissac
Stassi: Walking inside the house from a night out, Stassi leaned against the door. Groaning, she slid off her shoes and headed towards the stairs and then inside her room and smiled seeing Isaac on the bed. "Hey," She walked to her closet, and started changing into her sweats. Closing her closet door, she pulled her hair into a ponytail glancing at Isaac then down at her phone a few times. Turning around, she walked over to her bed and plopped down next to him. "I need to talk to you." Isaac: Isaac had gotten his cast off yesterday, and he had spent the early part of the morning doing the physical therapy for it Stassis mom had suggested, but the rest of the day had been spent doing nothing so Isaac was excited when heard Stassi come up the stairs. He pretended like he wasn't watching as she changed in front of him, but he was still a teenage boy, and it was kind of hard not to watch when a beautiful girl changed in front of you. "What's up?" He asked as she sat down on the bed.
Stassi: Stassi smirked feeling Isaac's on her as she changed, though she didnt mind it. She groaned, "First of all, I'm never going partying again. Actually no that's a lie." She smiled, then bit her lip as she looked at him. For the past hour, what she was about to bring up had been on her mind. Picking up her phone, trying to procrastinate, she looked through her messages then up at him. "I want us to date, but not exclusively," she looked down then back at him chewing her lip. Truth be told, she didnt want to be 'non exclusive' with Isaac, she just didnt want to get her heart broken and this was the only way to ensure it didnt happen. Isaac: Isaac laughed and shook his head when he said she was never partying again. When stassi bit her lip, he knew she was thinking about something but the words that came out of her mouth were totally unexpected. He sat there for a minute not saying anything. "Look I know we aren't an official couple, but--I -- I thought my feelings were pretty clear. I don't think I could be okay with that Stassi. I only want to be with you. You're the only girl I think about anymore. " he paused for a second looking down before saying his next sentence "I love you okay? And it would kill me to know you were with other people." It wasn't the way Isaac had planned to tell her he loved her, but the idea of them being non exclusive scared him. Stassi: "You--You did" She frowned slightly as she thought about what he said. When he said he loved her, she looked down as tears steamed down her cheeks. She loved Isaac more than anything, she'd give him the moon if he asked her to. Looking up at him, she wiped her tears though they continued to flow. "I'm scared of getting my heart broken. I--I couldn't handle it if you broke my heart Isaac. I love you so much. I just--I don't want to get hurt," she spoke softly. Stassi felt bad about suggesting that they not be exclusive, but it was the only sure fire way to protect her heart. Isaac: "Stassi." He said, waiting for her to look at him. "I would never EVER do anything to intentionally break your heart. I don't want to ever hurt you. In my life, I've learned that you can'r really rely on anyone but yourself, but you've changed that for me. I rely on you so much, and I would never want to do anything that would mean loosing the one stable person I have in my life. But I can't wait in the background either." He shook his head. "I get it, if you want to see other people, and you can't do this, but you have to know that it would kill me, and that I couldn't stay here anymore. But if you want to be with me-- then I'm yours forever. The choice is yours." Stassi: When he said her name, Stassi looked up at him. As he reassured her, she wiped her eyes and nodded her head, a small smile appeared on her face. This was the most she had ever opened up to anyone, and though it made her feel vulnerable, she knew now that she had no reason to be scared with Isaac. "I want you, forever and always. No one else," She grinned, moving up on the bed to be next to him and kissed him deeply. Pulling away, she smiled then laid down next to him. She laughed, placing her hands over her face then removed them, looking over at him. "Say it again." She was so happy in that moment and she was certain nothing could ruin her happiness. Isaac: When Stassi said she wanted him forever and always, Isaac breathed out a sigh of relief. She had no idea how happy it made him to know that she choose him. She kissed him deeply, and Isaacs hands rested on the small of her back before she moved away. He smirked when she asked him to say it again. "Say what again?" He knew what she meant though, and he wasn't going to teas her so he placed his hands on her face and smiled, "I love you Stassi Bianchi." He said, pulling her face towards him to kiss her again. It had been a while since he kissed her, especially since he hadn't really been able to kiss her properly till he was all healed, but he was now, and it was wonderful. Stassi: She laughed as he breathed out a sigh of relief. "Always and forever. I'm yours," She was unable to wipe the smile of her face, she was the happiest she had been in months. Hearing it again, Stassi let out a squeal and kissed him back. "You have just made me the happiest girl on the planet. Do you realize this?" She asked. "By the way, how was physical therapy?" Stassi felt rude for not even having asked as soon as she walked in the door. She kissed him again, then got close to him. She could get used to this, being with Isaac. There was nothing she wanted more. Isaac: "and I couldn't be happier right now either, love." He smiled. "It was good. I don't think it will take long before my leg and knew muscles are back to normal." He was looking forward to being able to go back to his normal routine. As she kissed him again and moved closer. Isaac pulled her on top of him. "I love you." He said again, kissing her passionately. Stassi: "Good, that's all I want. You being happy." She listened as he talked about his physical therapy. "Can I go with you next time?," she asked softly, unsure if she even wanted to ask the question just in case he didnt want her going. "But good. I'm glad. You know how I worry sometimes." She smiled as he pulled her on top of him. "I love you too. Very much." She kissed him back, then pulled away, a smile on her face and kissed him again. Isaac: He nodded his head when she asked if she could go with him to physical therapy. "You are more than welcome to come, but its probably gonna be boring." All Isaac did at the therapy was lift some leg weights and practice walking on a tredmill at a slow pace. It was basically like watching a grandpa at the gym, but he wouldn't mind having some support there when he went. Isaac frowned for a minute as Stassi pulled away, but it didn't last long as she kissed him again. Isaac and Stassi had only had sex once when they first started hanging out, but he knew if thats what things led to now then this would be totally different. It wouldn't be just sex. It would be making love, something Isaac had never done with anyone. Stassi: She shrugged her shoulders, rolling her eyes. "I don't care if its boring. I just want to be there with you," She smiled kissing him softly. Though Stassi hadn't asked before if she could go with him to therapy, she wanted to be there for him and felt bad for not having asked before now. She pulled away from the kiss and laid down, pulling him down on top of her and kissed him again. If this was going to go the way she thought, they would be making love. It wouldn't be just sex anymore, and that was something Stassi had never done with anyone. "Do you want to do this? I mean with your leg and stuff?" Stassi looked around her room then back at him, biting her lip. Isaac: He smiled, "Then I would love to have you come with me." Stassi moved Isaac on top of her, and he placed one leg betweet hers, and tried to hold the rest of his weight upon his arms as he kissed her, so that he wouldn't be smothering her. When Stassi asked him if he was sure he wanted to do this, he looked down at her, "I don't think I've ever wanted anything more." He replied, giving her a slight smirk. "Are you okay with this though?" He asked, raising his eyebrows in question. Stassi: She smiled, "I'll be there." As he kissed her, Stassi giggled, kissing him back. At his question, she nodded her head, "I am," Stassi was more than okay with it, she was with Isaac and that was what mattered. "I am," she said again, with a wide smile on her face. Isaac: At her reassurance, Isaac smiled, kissing her on the lips passionately, before slowly moving his lips to kiss her jawline. This was all a bit foreign to Isaac, not having meaningless sex. Now he wanted every little piece of her, not just out of lust, but out of his love for her. His lips trailed downward to her collar bones, gently nipping at her skin there for a moment as he let his hands travel to cup her chest outside of her clothing. Stassi: As he kissed her jawline, Stassi closed her eyes. His touch never failed to send chills down her spine. Not to mention that area was her weak spot and was the quickest way to get her a little bothered. Though this was new to her, the whole being in love thing, Stassi was practically on cloud 9. He wasnt just another guy to her, he never was. Isaac: Isaac moved back up so his lips were on her soft pink ones, as he let his fingers travel to the hem of her shirt before lifting it off of her head. His mind traveled to the first time they had sex, it was quick and sweaty, and although Isaac had a crush on her at the time, it wasn't meaningful to him really. This time he was taking it slowly, getting to know her whole body, as if she was a completely different person, and as his hands went behind her back to pull off her bra, he took a moment to simply look at the beauty before him. She had the most perfectly soft skin he had ever seen. Stassi: She smiled as he kissed her, and raised her arms so he could take hers off easier. With his hands on the back of her bra, she looked at him as he stopped and noticing him looking at her, "What is it?" She asked, with a small smile. Biting her lip, she ran her hands down his arm then down to the hem of his shirt and lifted it over his head. Isaac: When she asked what was wrong, Isaac shook his head, "Nothings wrong, you're just perfect." His helped her lift his shirt off his head, and looked down at his own torso for a minute. He had almost forgotten about what had happened just a few weeks ago, and he hoped that the few bruises and scars that remained around his ribs area were'nt a turn off to Stassi. Stassi: "Perfect?," She raised an eyebrow then kissed him softly. "So are you." She chewed her lower lip once the words came out of her mouth. To her he was perfect. She watched as Isaac looked down at his torso and Stassi smiled shaking her head. "It's okay, it's okay," She said, looking up from his bruises and scars then back up at him kissing him again. She didnt mind them, he couldn't help what had happened to him. It wasnt his fault. Isaac: He was glad when she said it was okay, because he would be lying if he said he wasn't self concious about the marks. He kissed Stassi passionately, his long fingers moving to give attention to her perky breasts. The perfect handful, he thought to himself, as he gently flicked his thumbs over her nipples. He wanted to make Stassi feel like she was the most perfect girl in the world, and he hoped he did. He moved his lips again, slowly kissing down her neck and collar-- his hands still on her breasts-- then moving down to her torso, slowly leaving a trail of kisses until he reached the button on her jeans. Stassi: the way Stassi felt in this moment was indescribable. She finally felt like she mattered to someone and that this wasn't just meaningless sex. Feeling his hands on her breasts was stimulating, and different, a good different. As he kissed her neck, she closed her eyes. She felt her stomach turn somersaults and her heart skip a beat. "T-that's my weak spot and you know that," she managed to get out. Isaac: As he kissed her neck, Isaac smirked at her comment. "I know it is. Maybe I'm just teasing you." He said. His fingers gingerly undid the button on her jeans, slipping them off her easily, and then rubbing his hands on her smooth legs as he moved back up to kiss her lips. He swiftly rolled them over so she was now on top, her chest pressed against his as his hands tangled in her blonde hair. While this was his first time making love like this, it wasn't his first time having sex, and he didn't want to be the only one in control. After all, The first time they had sex, it was after a football game, and Stassi was the one who initiated it all, so he knew she liked to be in control too. Stassi: "You're a horrible person," She joked. She helped him take off her jeans and kissed him back. As he rolled them over she let out a squeal then covered her mouth and removed her hand. "I'm sorry," she said softly. She bit her lip looking at him. "And you say I'm perfect," She smirked, kissing him softly. She pulled her hair across her shoulder. She frowned, unsure why this was so different for her, but it was. Isaac: He laughed, "I am but you love me anyway." He grinned as she squealed out, but he quickly removed his hands from her backside when he saw her frown. "Is everything okay? I mean, you haven't changed your mind or anything have you?" He asked, praying that she hadn't because he wanted her more than anything. Stassi: "I do? When did I say this?," She raised an eyebrow and nodded her head then kissed him passionately. "I do. More than anything." When he dropped his hands, Stassi picked up one of his hands then sighed. "I don't know," She frowned, looking down. "I'm nervous, I guess? Making love is new for me. I'm sorry. I-If you don't want to do it anymore its okay." Isaac: "Hmm, I seem to remember it was just a little bit ago." He smiled. "Its okay, I'm nervous too. This is new for me too. But I do want to do it, obviously," He joked, using his eyes to point down at the hard bulge just behind the zipper of his jeans. "We'll just figure it out together." He said. It wasn't like they were virgins and everything should be awkward. Stassi: "Ohhhh, I did say that, huh?" She smirked and kissed him deeply. "But you--I..." She let her voice trail off as she followed his eyes then quickly looked away. "Typical male," She rolled her eyes then smiled nodding her head. "Okay, it's uh, I'm okay. Lets go." She smiled, kissinghim passionately. ~~le fade to black ~~ Isaac: Making love entirely different than he imagined, but it was so much more meaningful. Now he laid spooning with Stassi, just enjoying the sort of high he was still feeling. He didn't have any idea what time it was, but he didn't want to move to check either. He just wanted to fall asleep holding Stassi. Stassi: Turning over, she smiled looking at Isaac. "So, what are we?," She asked biting her lower lip. This was something she wasnt used to; having feelings attached to sex. She looked down playing with the ring on her finger, then back up at Isaac. "I mean, we don't have to be anything if you don't want to." She shrugged her shoulders. As much she actually wanted them to be official, if he didnt she'd have to be okay with it. Isaac: He was unable to hide his smile as Stassi rolled over to face him, but the smile dropped as she asked what they were, and then said they didn't have to be a couple if he didn't want. "Well..." He said, tucking a strand of hair behind Stassi's ear, "I would like you to be my girlfriend. I mean, if that's what you want? I've never been in a relationship where it's taken this long to define things, but I want to be with you and I don't want either of us to be with anyone else."

Stassi: Throwing away her dinner, Stassi let out a sigh. She hadn't seen Isaac since that day in the hospital and she truly felt like the worst person ever but despite those feelings, she couldn't bring herself to go visit him or call him. Though she knew it was the lamest excuse ever, whenever she was asked by her mother about the lack of visits, she simply told her mother she needed to sort it all out and it was the truth. Hearing her mother in the main hallway of the house she frowned, not expecting her to be home. She walked out of the kitchen and down the hallway to look up from her phone and see her mother with Isaac. A wide smile appeared on her face as she dropped her phone and ran over to him and wrapped her arms around him. "I'm sorry." She whispered, not wanting to let him go. She was in her own little world at that moment and it was the happiest she had been in days. Isaac: When Stassi's mother showed up in isaacs hospital room he thought it was just part of the hospital protocol to escort the patients out in a wheel chair, but once they were out of the hospital, she insisted that Isaac come to their house for a while so he could get "proper aftercare" and as much as he had tried to decline, it was pretty impossible to say no to the woman. Isaac hasn't talked to Stassi since she had dropped the love bomb on him, but it had been all he could think about. Isaac hadnt ever been in love before, and while it could be possible that he was in love with her, he wasn't quite sure he was ready to say it back. All the people he had loved in the past, his mother, father, and brother, had a way of leaving his life, and he didn't want to loose stassi. With his shiny new crutches, Isaac entered her house hoping that she would be happy he arrived, and when she smiled and ran up to him it was clear that she was. He took in a sharp breath, wincing as she hugged him, but he didn't say anything. "I missed you too" he said through a clenched jaw. Stassi: Letting him go, she let out a content sigh and smiled. "I'm going to take you upstairs to my room and I haven't gotten around to cleaning it yet, so don't mind the mess." She nodded her head, helping him up the stairs. Walking into her bedroom, she helped Isaac to her bed and got him comfortable, placing his crutches against the wall. "Do you need or want anything?" She asked, sitting down on the bed next to him. She looked around her room for a minute before finally looking at Isaac. She couldn't stop smiling. It was impossible for her not to be happy when he was around. She let out a deep breath. She made a pouty face before laying down on the bed next to him and laying her head on his chest. She didnt care about the quiet, as long as he was safe and with her. Isaac: "That sounds great" he replied, following her to the stairs and using her help getting up. He wasn't used to needing people's help, but the cast on his leg and the crushes made his life a lot more difficult and he was glad he had her there. He made himself comfortable on her bed, and shook his head no when she asked if he needed anything. As she made herself comfortable next to him, Isacc let out a contented sigh. He was still wondering about what she said in the hospital, and he didn't know if he should say something or not. He wanted to explain to her his thinking, but he didn't want to mess things up or make them more weird. Especially since he was gonna be staying there for a while. "You know, I could get used to this" he said about being able to just lay there with her. For the first time in over 2 weeks, Isaac felt safe and relaxed. Stassi: "You know, if you're ever hungry or anything, whatever is in my mini fridge is yours or if there's anything you want me to make you. I don't want you feeling uncomfortable here or anything." She said, shrugging her shoulders. Looking up at him, Stassi squinted her eyes, then looked at him normally. She wanted to know what was on his mind, but she knew better than to ask, part of her unsure if she actually wanted to know, but she decided to ask anyway. "Whats on your mind?" She asked. "You know you can tell me anything." She told him with a smile. She laughed, nodding her head. "I could too. I could lay here with you for hours." Stassi reached across him, and took his hand, lacing their fingers together then got comfortable again. Just laying here with Isaac was her favorite thing, and she was able to forget about everything else around them and just focus on them. Isaac: He smiled at her offer for food, "Thanks, I appreciate it. I'll let you know if I want you to make anything which knowing me I probably will" he joked with her. Isaac nodded his head, and sighed before speaking "I -- well I don't want to make things weird but I was just thinking about when you visited me in the hospital ..." He trailed off hoping she would remember. Isaac let out a contented sigh as she laced her fingers with his, letting his eyes close as he relaxed there with him. Stassi: "I wouldn't mind." She said softly, shrugging her shoulders. When he mentioned what happened at the hospital she smiled biting her lower lip. "When I said I love you?" She let out a deep breath then nodded her head. "I meant it. I do, I love you so much, and I fell for you, and I ran from that because I'm scared to get my heart broken but I want you, I want to be with you." She looked down for a moment then looked back up at him, frowning as she thought about his mom, brother and father. "I promise, I swear on my life that I will never leave you. I will always be here for you, no matter what." She kissed his cheek then laid back down. Truth be told, Isaac meant the world to her and she would do anything for him. Isaac: He nodded his head, and smiled when she said she loved him. He didn't know how to reply though. He wanted to say it back, but he was scared, and he didn't want to say it until he was 100% sure he wasn't saying it just because she did. He didn't want it to be said just because she said it, or just because he had nearly died, he wanted it to be more special than that. She was more special to him than that. So instead, Isaac took the easy way out, he breathed out a sigh, and looked her in the eye, "I don't think you know how much you mean to me or how much you saying that means to me. Because if I ever lost you I would be devastated. You're the one who kept me going." He closed his eyes remembering the night he got taken. "When my dad took me--" he paused, it was still hard for him to talk about, " when he took me, all I could think about was how I might never see your beautiful face again, or how I would never get to say goodbye. I knew I had to keep taking everything he threw at me, because if I got to see you again, then it would be worth it." He shook his head looking down at his broken leg, hoping that would be enough, that she would understand his feelings and not be mad that he simply couldn't say the words back to her. Stassi: As he spoke, Stassi sat up, and bit her lip listening to him. "You'll never lose me, okay? You mean so much to me, and nothing is ever going to make me leave you," She gave him a quick, sincere smile. As he continued, she tilted her head to the side, then smiled. As he looked down, she placed her hands on his cheeks so he would be looking at her and kissed him deeply. Though he didnt say he loved her, his words were more than enough for her. She didnt expect him to say that he loved her too, as long as he knew how she felt that was all that mattered to her. Pulling away, she placed a quick kiss on his cheek. "I would be devastated if I lost you too," She spoke softly, laying her head back down on his chest. Isaac: Words couldn't express the things he was feeling, so he kissed Stassi back, and wrapped an arm around her as she layed on his chest. He wished that he wasn't so handicapped in that moment, so he could hold her closer and never let go. "Will you sleep here tonight?" He asked her. He knew it might have sounded a little girly, but he hoped that maybe sleeping next to her would help him dream peaceful dreams, rather than reliving his experience. He also didn't want to let her go, as if he did it would all disappear.

Truth Bitter Truth || Staissac
Stassi: The past few days had been an emotional rollercoaster for Stassi since Isaac had been missing and now that he had been found, she wanted nothing more than to spend time with him. After picking up some food she headed towards the hospital, and stood outside Isaac's room, overhearing Isaac giving his statement to the police and tears immediately filled her eyes. Once they left, Stassi managed to pull herself together and walked into his room with a smile plastered on her face. "Hey handsome." She said softly, standing in the corner of the room unsure whether to stay there or sit in the chair. Isaac: He had spent most of the day sleeping and laying his hospital, although the last hour he had giving his statement about what had happened to the police. It was hard, trying to re-tell the his statement, but maybe this time his dad would actually be away for a long time. He hadn't even noticed Stassi come in until he heard her voice from the corner. "Oh hey. " He said, a weak smile crossing his face as he pointed toward the chair, " You can come sit down if you want." Stassi: She nodded her head, biting her lower lip walking over to the chair and sitting down, letting her bag fall to the floor. She looked around for a minute before turning her attention back to Isaac. "I'm not going to stay long. I just um...I just wanted to see you." Stassi silently scolded herself. She didnt know why she was being so awkward, but she couldn't help it. "I'm just glad you're okay. Because I was really worried and I wouldn't know what to do if I lost you and..." she looked down at the floor letting her voice trail off then looked up at him, shrugging her shoulders. Picking up her bag, she took out a paper bag and a small cup and handed it to him. "It's nothing really. Just a cheeseburger and a milkshake. I know hospital food is kind of gross." She scrunched up her nose, then pushed a strand of hair behind her ear. Isaac: He smiled as she sat down. It was actually nice to see her here. A friendly face in all this confusion and chaos. He'd been through a lot, and those his roommates had come to visit him, they hadn't stayed long, and it was really awkward. Isaac felt a sense of comfort with Stassi here though. "I'm glad you're here." He could tell Stassi seemed a bit off, and the way her voice trailed off made him feel terrible. If he had a choice, he wouldn't ever leave Stassi, but sometimes you didn't always get a choice. He beamed as best he could as she handed him the food. "You're a lifesaver. Thank you." He said, taking a small sip of the milkshake. Stassi: She frowned, tilting her head to the side. "You are?" She asked, then took his hand. "I'm always here for you, that's never going to change. I promise." She smiled, letting go of his hand. Those words were true. Regardless of what happened, Stassi would always be there for Isaac. She laughed shaking her head and pushed a strand of hair from her face. "it's no big deal. You know I'd do anything for you." She shrugged her shoulders. As much as she tried to push the current thoughts in her head to the side, she just couldn't. "I mean, you're welcome." She smiled then rolled her eyes. "I really missed you though. More than you'll know." She said softly. Isaac: "Yeah, I am." He smiled as she took his hand giving hers a reassuring squeeze. "I'm sorry you have to deal with all of this. I wish it had never happened." It was nice for Isaac to know he had been missed, and he knew his "brothers" had missed him too, but it had been a long time since Isaac had any sort of girl in his life who had actually been this caring and sweet. "Well I promise not to get kidnapped again. Or... at least as best as I can promise that. Though to my knowledge, I don't have any more psychotic relatives running around." He joked with her. He involuntarily yawned, his medication making him drowsy, "sorry" he aplogized for yawning. He didn't want her to think he was yawning at her and he didn't want her to leave. Stassi: She frowned at his apology. "Don't be sorry. It's not you're fault. And I'm not dealing with anything. You make yourself sound like a burden which you aren't. I want to be here for you. I want to deal with this with you." What she was saying was true. She didn't want Isaac to be alone dealing with this. She laughed as he joked with her. "Shut up." She looked down for a minute then looked back up at him. "I love you." As soon as the words came out of her mouth, tears streamed down her cheeks and she shook her head getting up from the chair. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said anything." She leaned over and kissed his forehead. "I'll um, I'll come visit you again or something, okay?" Turning on her heel, she took a deep breath and walked out of his room. As much as she didnt want to leave, she needed to and that was the hardest thing she ever had to do.
