Commander Prompt

In LWS4 Episode 4, we were introduced to mist disturbances that were distributed around the Jahai Bluffs. How would your commander react to one of these disturbances? It doesn't have to be one that was displayed on the map, it can be any one that you make up. From what I understand, they could be glimpses into any past event.

As an example setting, imagine a rift disturbance that begins as a pleasant scene displaying the steppes typically found in the shadow of the Blazeridge Mountains. There are some organized companies of charr warbands marching south to replace the weary combatants outside of Ebonhawke. Suddenly, up north in the distance, there is a giant, mushroom-like cloud followed by an explosion so violent it knocks over some unsuspecting charr and rattles neighboring trees. The once sunny landscape reshades to a menacing purple, the sun blocked nearly completely by bellowing purple lightning laced clouds. After a moment of haunting silence a guttural scream is heard echoing off the mountains. It's no other than Kralkatorrik, who, with a single flap of his wings, strings down the entire landscape, branding everything in his wake.

Getting ready to start diving hardcore into the lore I've thought about for nearly 3 years now. I owe it to a friend to finish this. The date for Sett's death is very subject to change because there are about 5 ways I imagine him dying. Posting this because I'm going to revamp my 'making of a khan-ur' posts starting with family history.

There's also a lot of things I need to edit here that are remnants of some editing but ill leave it here anyway.

Missing scene from EoD. Gorrik attacking Rama and the guards on the beach going absolutely feral at this man with a funky hat cause he stepped too close to the Commander. The Commander who gave chase and rescued and protected Gorrik and now might be dying cause of him. He stands tall, baring his teeth, tears running down his face cause he hasn't stopped panicking cause the commander is dying and holding a scrap bit of metal as he stands over the commander and says "stay back."

OH MY GOD I HADN'T EVEN CONSIDERED

OH IMAGINE! Gorrik, who I admit forget is a literal engineer and an inquest scientist who can handle a bug growing under his skin, being dropped into our cell purely because he will not be separated from us

He's civil in the cell once he's calmed down, but the fall's rattled him and his brain - it's instinct's now baby and he's learnt from the best

He watched them level a fleet, and saw Aurene take a hit for him, he'll be damned if he doesn't at least try

I’m finally finding my groove in working on two completely different genres at the same time. At first, I wasn’t sure if I could manage writing a sci-fi piece while writing a smutty romance novel at the same time. But, so far so good. As far as the latest Outlier’s novel, The Lighthouse Keeper, goes… I plan on releasing a new chapter every month. The reason for this is the story is only a novella so I want to stretch the content out as much as possible. One other thing I really,really need to put into my bucket list is this: read peoples’ fanfics. The content you folks put out is amazing and it would be remiss of me to not take the time to read each of your stories. Thus, if there is any 2021 resolution I ought to make make it will be to sit down and read y’all’s content. Here’s to a better (and more productive) new year!
