It's important to recognize that proshippers can be predators. An adult sending art of an age gap ship to a minor in order to groom them into a relationship is not unheard of. It is a very real grooming tactic online. Of course, enjoying darkships doesn't instantly mean someone is a predator- but implying that darkship art can't ever be used as a grooming tactic isn't helpful. Predators are in every online space, and it's important to recognize and watch out for the signs. Proshippers are not predators, but some predators are proship.

5. The community - or most of it anyway

6. The anime songs & musicals

7. The characters

8. I love how we can read the same manga panels over and over again and interpret it in 100 different ways. It encourages critical thinking and god knows that people these days really need this particular skill

What I don't love about Kuro:

1. How difficult it is to get their merchs outside of Japan

2. How EXPENSIVE they are

3. The community discourse
