It’s been so long! In case you were wondering, Nicholas won the season in a 5-3-1 vote, with Elsa as runner-up and JC as second runner-up. Wow!

While episode titles and summaries are still underway, here’s some bonus content for y’all that was recorded before the game (pre-season cast assessment) and at the merge (cast assessment + thirteen character archetypes!) J.C. - Hey!! I feel like a few of us feel this way but I feel as though you didn’t wake up until the Big Brother week. I could be wrong, so please prove to me that you played the game right from the start. I also want to know why you were willing to go to rocks for Cole in the previous round but not the one he went home in. I don’t really understand. Anyways, good luck!!

Nicholas - King!!! When i’m on jury I really don’t like to make things about myself but that’s what i’m going to do. In your ROP you mentioned that you didn’t know how we became “enemies” in this game. I really have no idea either tbh. My question for you is: Why was I taken out over a threat like Cole? Also, I do want to know why you didn’t want to take a shot at Ruthie or Emily sooner than the time that you did. What got you to flip? That’s all now haha!! Good luck!!

Elsa - Elsa I am so proud of you. My biggest regret in this game was not working with you sooner. My question to you is: What was your biggest weakness in the game and how did you deal with it to get to this point? Good luck Elsa!!

Rafael:

Elsa: Queen of staying loyal. My question to you is do you believe that Cole controlled all of your moves? JC: Explain the difference between surviving til FTC and people just not bothering to take a person out. Explain why you are not the latter. Nicholas: Why would you take Elsa and JC to the end seeing as they have survived the minority for so long (especially JC)?

Cole:

Okay here's my questions:

Elsa: -A criteria I have in voting for anyone in the f3 is based on my relationship with them, good or bad. You and I had no relationship and I really don't see much of your game. Tell me what you did that makes you more deserving than JC or Nicholas.

JC: -I'm having a really hard time even considering voting for you. Not because I'm bitter, but because of the extent you went to lying to me seconds before I was voted out. I was honest with you this entire game. I never lied to you even though that's the easy thing to do. So you vote me out because Cole was a bigger target but turn on Cole shortly after. I was doing this to keep you safe. So tell me. What was the point of the constant lies despite me putting my neck on the line for you? If you give me "lying is part of the game" I promise I will not vote for you. Gimme something g good.

Nicholas- You and I had a rocky relationship in this game but came together at the end. I really do respect you, but I'm not entirely sure why I should vote for you though. I don't have any questions in particular for you, but I will be paying attention to what you say to others!

Regardless of what happens and how I may feel now, I love all three of you as people and as game players. Good job on making final 3! Good luck!

elsa: why did you put your trust in the people you did and why do you think that benefitted you or not? jc: in the beginning of the game it seemed to me like you fought for your life a lot. you recovered, obviously, but explain to me how. nicholas: idk if I’m supposed to start this out with any statements and whatnot but I need you to know I love you!! I think that because I got to work with you, I was able to see a lot of your gameplay, but others in the jury might not have. I know that this is a basic question but please explain one game changing move you made and also can you explain how stayed under the radar for many votes, even ones that you weren’t immune?

Elsa, JC and Nicholas, the three of you have gone as far as you can go in this game. In ~24 hours, one of you will be the winner of Island of Shade: Olympus Mons.

That said, due to some pretty severe time conflicts between this final 3, I have made the executive decision to do a non-live Final Tribal Council. Here’s how this will work (please pay attention to the deadlines):

The jury has the next 24 hours (til 5:30 PM EST tomorrow) to formulate their questions or statements. You may submit these as video, audio or just text. Each juror’s questions will go up in an individual post on the blog in the order I receive them. Similarly, the final 3 may answer any questions as soon as they are received, and their answers will be loaded into a Google Doc which I will share with the jury and post to the blog once questions and answers are done. The final 3 may also answer their questions with video, audio or text. Since this won’t be happening live, you have a bit more freedom in terms of length, but please try to keep your questions and answers focused and concise. “Silly�� questions are allowed, but tasks such as “compliment me” or “assign every juror a member of Twice” are not allowed as they’re basically wastes of time.

The final 3 will have until 10:30 PM EST tomorrow to answer all the jury’s questions. The jury will then have until 11 PM EST tomorrow to vote, and your votes may change as often as you wish. At 11 PM EST, we will hold a Google Hangout where we will reveal the winner, do some fun awards and talk about next season.

JC, Ruthie, Nicholas, and Elsa - you have outlasted sixteen others here on Olympus Mons. Only one more tribal stands between you and the FTC. And only one of you can win this Final Immunity Challenge!

At the beginning of this game, you were each responsible for taking on one of five tasks for the first tribal immunity challenge. This challenge will work similarly the very first one. This time, however, you will be completing all of the parts on your own! This is a four-part challenge. In each part, the person who comes in first place will receive three points, second place will receive two points, third place will receive one point, and last place receives zero points. At the end of all four challenges, your point values will be totaled, and the person with the highest overall score will win!

Here are the four components:

Semi-live Memory Challenge: You will complete this portion on call with the hosts. Similar to the first challenge, it will test your memory.

Flash Game: You will play the flash game Z-Type and submit your best score to their host chat. Please include your name in the URL and date/time visible. You may submit as much as you’d like.

Counting: In a separate chat, you will count as high as you can, then turn around and count back to one. You are allowed to delete messages and edit mistakes. The person who has counted the highest AND made it back down to one will win. If all four of you do not make it back to one, it will be based purely on how high you went.

Slide Puzzle: You will complete this portion on call with the hosts. You will be given a link to a slide puzzle. You must share your screen and complete the puzzle.

We will be available to do the semi-live portions with each of you over the next two days, so please let us know when you are ready. The other two portions are due Wednesday, December 13 at 9 PM EST. Tribal Council will then follow that night at 10 PM EST.

Elsa - Havana ohh nana Half of my heart… Sorry, I felt obligated to start my message to you with those iconic lyrics. Your elimination was also premature… surprise BB weeks in Survivor ORGs, and vice-versa, are always a nightmare. It’s just such a shame that you had to be the main victim of that week. I hope listening to Camila’s steady stream of new music has been a source of comfort. xxx

JC - CONNOR AKDJDHD queen u weren’t even supposed to leave sorry for robbing u but I was just tryna save myself gtg be euthanized 

Nicholas - UwU you were robbed!!! I can’t believe we are dead ass never going to get to play a survivor game together where we both make it decently far. U know how I feel about you so no need to say it here ^__^

Ruthie - I was SO NERVOUS when I saw that you, Pippa and Chris were playing in this season.  I felt like you all hated me from season one and that y’all were going to like form something together with the sole purpose of getting me out.  I have NO IDEA if you voted for Jordan during that one tribal that he went or not like you told me you did but either way, thank you for doing so. I wish we would have talked more, you left WAY too soon!

Elsa - Siiiiigh… yet another ally I lost in this game. Unlike with Rafael though, I knew people were voting for you Matthias, and I’m sorry I didn’t tell you. I didn’t want to worry you!! And I thought there would have been enough votes to keep you… but well, people lie, and the outcome was tragic. Tbh, if people were voting for me, I’d want to know, so I should have just told you. I hope you were told by someone else and it wasn’t a complete blindside. But if it was, I really really am sorry ♥ ♥

JC - Fatthias :(( the first game that I didn’t vote you out/plot ur demise..we were actually gonna work together in this one!! Sad 

Nicholas - You’re crackedt!!!!!! I came into this game thinking of you as like a pre-made in a way but when we finally got to be on a tribe together you started throwing my name around and it got super messy. At merge I think we finally reconnected and were willing to take a risk and do some real damage to Cole/Dom/Leah. Tbh I’m glad that you were one of the few people who had the balls to initially go against them and I think in a way u set the tone for us targeting them in ur absence!! I hope mcdonalds/subway/jenny craig is treating u well!!!

Ruthie - We didn’t talk all game which SUCKED because we always used to talk. It was still fun to see you around this season, you were definitely an All Star and always will be. <3

Elsa - We kind of stopped talking after merge, which was… well, not anyone’s fault really. It’s really hard maintaining conversations with multiple people in a game. Hngh, despite hearing that you wanted me out at one point (completely expected btw cuz we weren’t allies anyway), I’m still sorry you had to go out the way you did.

JC - I’m sorry I know you were trying to make a big move the week you left and it’s kind of my fault that that move failed to happen I’m sorry I hope you can understand why I did what I did though

Nicholas - I feel like we had a whole series of ups and downs in this game. During the Pippa vote I felt like we really connected right before I flipped on y’all and I always felt after that like we were on bad terms even though you were super forgiving and great about it and I think that speaks a lot to your nature as a player and as a person too. Moving onto merge, honestly I’m still angry that the vote went so poorly when you left. For literally the entirety of the time we were together on a tribe or at merge I wanted to work together but I felt like we always had a different perspective on what was going on. I guess I kind of always saw you and emily as cole and dom and leah’s “side hoes” for lack of a better term and that prevented me from really having any substantial conversations about the game with you. It wasn’t until the failed Cole vote that we finally saw eye to eye and I’m glad that me/you/ruthie/emily were able to connect, if only for like ten minutes, and compare notes and make sure that we knew what was going on. Had you stayed in the game I feel like we would have totally dominated as a group, but just know that the 5-5 vote, even though it took your “life” in the game set the tone for the next couple of rounds to come!

Ruthie - I WAS SO SAD to see you go.  I know that our alliance was a new thing but it was just SO CUTE! I wasn’t expecting you to go and it just made my head SPIN!  It was fun getting to play with you again after the craziness that was season one!  You are such a fun person to talk to, thanks for everything!

Elsa - Leah lol, AHHHHHHHHHHH. I’m not entirely sure if I’m supposed to include you in this, but if I am.... AAHHHHHHHHH. Gosh, the night you were removed in the game was extremely painful, but looking back on it, it was just plain amusing. We (the alliance at the time) went from being on top, to being screwed real quick. I hope whatever irl things you have going on are going well, and it would be fun to play with you again!! x

JC - LEAH BINCH WHY DID U HAVE TO BE MEDEVACD AKDJDJD..MESSY. Queen of rocks though.

Nicholas - rip an inactive queen. We did talk once and it was nice and I’ll always have an appreciation for others who have been rocked out of this series !!!

Ruthie - GIRL. This is All Stars, where were you all game?  It was fun playing with you, I don’t think we ever talked either but we played my first game ever together and you are one of my favorite people in the community, you’re such a fun person and I never get tired of seeing what you post on Instagram when you post things!  

Elsa - Still crying tbh… yeah, that night was a real mess. Our time working together in the game was too short!!! ): Idk why we didn’t start working together from earlier on tbh, but oh well. Our alliance was brutally cut short and it sucked big time. You are a great and wonderful person, and I’m glad to have met you through BBGlee and IOS!!! ♥

JC - Dom omg you were so robbed you had such an amazing social game though and could’ve probably won if things went slightly differently

Nicholas - I really don’t know how we ended up on complete opposite sides of this game as one another. It felt like before merge we worked together really well and honestly when we were on Curiosity you were one of the people who I told literally everything about the game. And even into merge when there were like 40 of us and the votes were so unpredictable I felt like we were really close allies still. And then I’m not really sure what happens but pretty soon after that we ended up on opposite sides of the game and it actually really sucked having to write down your name at the Live night because I did feel like there was always a potential for us to smooth things over and maybe low-key work together. you were definitely taken out in a really ugly way and it was honestly kind of sad because I didn’t really think it would come to that in this game. I do know that everyone in the game really did like you and respect you as a player! Hope all is going well ~

Ruthie - This was 100% the hardest vote in the game. I’m really sorry, Dom.  I know that you and I somehow end up on opposite sides and I promise I don’t go into games thinking ‘OH LOOK, THERE’S DOM, LET ME DO HIM DIRTY’ even though I know it might seem like I do.  You are a social king, strategic king, there is no competition that you can’t excel in.  You are just SO EASY to talk to- too easy.  I definitely fought with myself over voting you out this season.  First of all I really liked the alliance that you, Cole and I had but I heard that you guys were in several and that made me think that you and Cole were closer than I was with you or than I was with Cole.  Seeing how close y’all were just made it that more evident that in order to weaken Cole that we would have to get rid of you.  On a personal level I love you so much, you are such a nice and caring person and I hope that you never change and I mean that from the bottom of my heart.  You don’t even want to know how many albums I’ve downloaded JUST BECAUSE you posted a great bop and I had to listen to more. I love you, I’m sorry for doing you so dirty and I’m glad that you didn’t take any of the game moves personally and that we are still good. <3

Elsa - Lol Jill, I love how we’d go from not talking to each other for days at a time, to asking each other wtf was gonna happen at tribal that week. Truly a bizarre partnership, dunno if that’s the right word. I’m sorry you got rocked out when you did, but like with Kaitlyn, much props for taking the risk of going to rocks at that point in the game. I’m also sorry if I annoyed with my whole spiel before tribal; had to do what I could to try and save my allies!! ^^;

JC - JILL!!! Queen of cats! Queen of rocks! Queen of never being voted out of IoS! You were so nice, a fav

Nicholas - okay so honestly i never get sad when people get removed from the game but I was sad after you got removed because I miss talking to you!!!!! You were probably one of the only people on this cast who I didn’t really know or had never heard of before this game and I’m so glad that I not only got to play with you but also be in an alliance and just chat in general. thx for letting me be a freak and do ur stat hw!!! no matter what happens in the rest of this game i hope that we can be friends plz

Ruthie - GIRL.  You are such a freaking ray of sunshine.  You and I didn’t talk much at all until like… pretty close to when you left.  I remember being at Walmart and having to drive and convinced that Emily was secretly aligned with Dom and Cole then messaging you to steal my necklace and the rest was HISTORY! I’m so glad that I got to know you at least a little bit better, you are such a fun person and the alliance that we were in will probably forever be one of my favorite alliances of all time.  I love you, I can’t wait to get to talk to you again… although I hope I won’t see you in jury!!

Elsa - Coleee )))))): Honestly, idk how you managed to… idk, I guess just survive for as long as you did. You had such a huge target on your back for so long, and it really is commendable that you managed to team up with people that were willing to go to extreme lengths to save you, myself included. I’m still thankful that you didn’t go through with voting me out after Chris suggested I be the vote that week… I mean, we weren’t really working together at that point, but you still saved me and that meant a lot. I’m really glad I got to know you through this ORG; you are one of the nicest people I have ever met, and the images you sent to the tribe chat, as well as your drags were the highlights of this entire game for me. If I could have saved you with an extra vote, you know I would have. Love you lots xxxxxxxxxxx ♥ ♥

JC - Coleeee :( we went from being complete enemies to loyal allies, it was really tough voting u out and ur super cool and I hope we can remain friends

Nicholas - I don’t really know what to say because I feel like we quickly went from being allies to rivals in this game. I think no matter what anyone says you definitely were able to stretch out your time in this game by at least 8 days by pulling some really smart tricks and stunts that typically flop if anyone tries it. Your tactics of trying to break some cracks in our alliance really did almost work and it was admirable how after dom and leah were gone you fought for 2 rounds and literally pulled almost every single trick in the book to stay. I know that if you managed to slide your way to the end of the game you definitely would have racked up some votes for constantly dodging votes. Either way, well played and you definitely have a lot to be proud of. Trying to get you out of this game was incredibly difficult and that was mostly because of your social savy and ability to get people to do what you wanted and be extremely loyal to you. So good job on a game well played!

Ruthie - I feel like you hate me now, and I hope you don’t.  I really liked being aligned with you and Dom but I just felt like I was like y’alls pet goat that y’all were getting ready to take to the end. I hope you know that me turning on you was 100% strictly game, I had to do what was best for me because whether you believe me or not I think you would have DESTROYED me at final tribal council.  I love you, and I do have to say that things are much quieter without you.  I totally forgot to work on these until like two hours before they were due, I was fully planning to find a frog and face my fears to hold it to take a picture to add in this to you.  ONE DAY!

Elsa - EMILY HNGGGH. This is the hardest message to write cuz idk. I have a lot to say, but I don’t really know what to say either. Ahh, I’ll do my best. Emily, you are a very likeable person and really sweet, and you are also really cunning too lol. I’ve said this before, but thank you for going to rocks for me earlier on in the game. Like… I didn’t fully expect you to (or Ruthie for that matter), but y’all are crazy and I’m still grateful. I really wanted us to continue working together for the rest of the game, but I guess… idk, I guess that wasn’t meant to be. I’m sad that you thought I wasn’t trustworthy enough after Matthias got out, because I had never lied to you and didn’t have plans on snaking you in any way. BUT OH WELL. The time you got idoled was insane. I’m glad we got to talk at least once more before you got voted out this week. I’m still really glad I met you and that we got to work together at least for a little while during the game. And I’m still lowkey rooting for you in… the other ORG you’re in. Or maybe you won, idk, I left the VL hehe. Much love ♥

Nicholas - Honestly I owe you an entire book as to why I did why I did last round, but I’m just going to start by apologizing on a personal level because I am so glad that we finally got to play a game together closely and on the same side of things for once. LMSO was honestly such a great alliance but you know that! I definitely owe you an explanation as to why I flipped last night and it’s because you are honestly such a sweet and genuine person and so well spoken that in any FTC setting you would have swept the floor with all of the rest of us. I know this because you just have an aura about you that is so positive and not in a fake way that makes everyone want to see you succeed and do well and I think that would have translated very well for you in this game. I know that it’s probably a shitty way to go with just an hour heads up and no chance to really talk about it, but I felt really guilty all day though I knew that this what was best for my personal game. You are and have always been a force to be reckoned with and I made the mistake of aligning with 3 people who are literally 4000% more likable than me so this was me trying to correct for that. I hope and honestly know that we will be friends after this is all over and I AM GENUINELY SO SORRY!!!! voting you out felt like kicking a child in the face with cleats and I feel so guilty though I know that if I didn’t you would have hands down won this game! I was going to say that I miss talking in our alliance chat about not game related things but honestly I’m the reason why we cant so lkdmskldsmcklmlkdmsds i guess i don’t have the right to say that ! but seriously i hope ur having a good week & i cant wait to catch up on the flip side!

Ruthie - EMILY, I didn’t think that any of these messages were going to be as long as the one I have for Dom but I think yours might be the length winner!  I knew from the moment I saw you were playing that I wanted to work closely with you and I’m SO GLAD that we did! I loved getting all the supportive messages from our Azores family whenever we got through a tribal together.  You were my number one ally through MOST OF THE GAME, but I do want to take this time to go into detail about something.  I REALLY REALLY thought that I had royally screwed up by aligning with you, it was when Chris left?  I was POSITIVE that you were aligned with Cole and Dom and I felt like I couldn’t tell you anything!  I even like unloaded all my feelings about it on ELSA who I think maybe thinks I was faking, I have no idea.  I want to apologize in advance for all the mean confessionals I wrote about you because I thought you flipped when obviously you didn’t!  But okay, once I got over that I was 100% an Emily fan again and wanted us, Nicholas and Jill to make it ALL THE WAY to the end.  This final 4 should have been us!  THEN, last round when Nicholas flipped, it broke my heart and it STILL breaks my heart.  I really wish that the three of us were still all in this together.  I told him that I thought that it was a good move (because you would destroy us at FTC) but I just REALLY wish it didn’t happen and that you were still here.  You are a RAY OF SUNSHINE and you put your all into this game and I’ve noticed that you put your all into everything you do and I LOVE LOVE LOVE that about you!  I miss talking to you SO MUCH, cross your fingers that I’m not the next to join you.  Also, you better win fan favorite! <3

It’s been 36 days, and one way or another, 16 people have been ejected from our Martian camp and throttled back to Earth at warp shady speeds! Just four remain - Elsa, JC, Nicholas and Ruthie - and in three days, one will be crowned the Sole Survivor! Before we get to their Final Immunity Challenge, we asked them to take a look back at our interplanetary journey and tell us why each eliminated contestant of Olympus Mons is a skinny legend -- it’s a little tradition we like to call Rites of Passage.

Elsa - Zack, I’m really sorry I lied to you and said I’d vote Jill out with you, when in fact I was voting you out. I think the fact that you only came back online much later in day, after I had had more time to talk to Cole and Jill, is what made me come to my final decision. But still… sorry for the lie! ):

JC - ZACK KING!!! You were supposed to be here at the end with me but your dumb shithead ass had to get first boot smh. ROBBED. All the fat legend brenda's are shaking their heads in disappointment.

Nicholas - Wig! I’m actually genuinely upset that we didn’t get to play together in this game since in Hokkaido we got fucked up together. I hope all is well with you and that you are living your best life!

Ruthie - You were so robbed.  I was terrified to keep you, but I’m glad I did. (even though Jill and I ended up working closely later on in the game)  You left way too soon and I’m sorry it happened the way it did.

Nicholas - QUEEN! Honestly had we been put on tribes with different people maybe things would have been different. I am sorry for voting you out and I wish that we got the opportunity to work together in this game, but I guess it’ll just have to wait for another game! 

Ruthie - QUEEN.  I hate whenever you leave really early in games because you are a great person to align with and just talk to in general.  I hate that we never got a chance to be on the same tribe in this game!

Elsa - Kaitlyynn, mad props for going to rocks that early in the game. You were obviously a loyal ally to Jordan and I respect that. I hope WoW is treating you well… you almost made me start playing it again ^^;

JC - KAITLYN goddess of drawing rocks you died but ur spirit protected me especially in the second rock draw of the season bless u. You also died for Elsa to rise it's wild.

Nicholas - I told you at the start of the game that I respect the way that you play games and that I feel like our gameplay techniques are usually very compatible and I stand by that. When I saw that you got rocked out I was genuinely upset because we haven’t played a game together in a year and after hosting you twice I’ve really come to appreciate your perspective in games. [Even if I did rig you out with that Lightning Round in Redemption] Either way, I hope things are going well for you!

Ruthie - That tribal was INSANE!!  I’m glad that we got to talk a little bit more after the whole lightning round thing happened in Redemption.  You are such a nice person (even though you are a bit scary at times!!), if you had to leave I’m glad it was by rocks!

Elsa - Hi Pippa, I don’t think we’ve ever spoken, but hopefully we get the chance to play together in a future org! x

Nicholas - Oh sweet Jesus I am so sorry Pippa. Your vote was very hard for me because I feel like last minute we connected really well and I could have definitely seen us working together well. I’m sorry for going on call with you on the night of your vote and wasting your time lying to you. I wish things could have gone different!

Ruthie - I’m so sad that we weren’t ever on the same tribe.  We talked a lot in our original season and I wanted to actually work with you this time!  You are such an amazing soul, it stinks that you had to go so soon.  

Elsa - Oh no, Karen ): I genuinely wanted to work with you on this season of IOS, because I remembered in Turkey, during the reunion you mentioned that I wasn’t forthcoming enough with you for you to trust me. Was hoping I could change that this time, but sadly, didn’t get a chance to.

JC - ANOTHER LEGEND I felt so bad watching ur tribal i'm sad we didn't get to play together either :c

Nicholas - I feel like we have played like 4000 games together and never really have gotten the chance to connect in a single one of them so yikes at that. From afar you seem to be really funny so I’m bummed that we didn’t get the chance to actually possibly work together in this game!

Ruthie - I’m so salty that you left SO SOON! After plotting to get Drew out in season one together and you making it all the way with Ashley Sarah in season two I was hoping that we would have a chance to work together this season!  It was fun playing with you, I wish we would have had a chance to be on the same tribe!

Elsa - I still remember your shocked face when the votes during that Week 3 TC didn’t go the way you thought they would ^^; I did enjoy talking to you though, and it would be great if we could actually work together next time, hehe. Hope your ORG is going well! x

JC - Jordannnn :(( I was so sad when you and I got blindsided and you got sent home, you were a great ally thru premerge tho

Nicholas - Argh your vote was another hard one. You know that you’re one of my favorite people I’ve met in the survivor side of things and voting you out was one of the more hard decisions I have had to make in this game. And it wasn’t because you were good at competitions - I just saw how close you were with JC, Dom, Eddie and eventually Cole and I didn’t want to put myself in an awful position on that tribe. Telling Ruthie to idol and then us voting you out was definitely one of the more shitty things I did in this game and I’m sorry for that! You got the shit end of the stick in this game and I actually do feel bad about it - I’m sure that you will go on to slay plenty of other games though! 

Ruthie - I REALLY wanted to work with you, Jordan.  I know you’re like ‘the fuck- you didn’t’ but I truly did.  I felt so bad for voting you with the girls the first round, and I didn’t want to vote for  you the second time but I heard that you were trying to get people to vote me and it seemed like the only thing I could do!  I mean, I guess I could have came to you and talked about it but if I would have done that I feel like EVERYONE would have turned on me.  This was probably one of the hardest votes the entire game, I was glad to be safe but I genuinely wanted to work with you and just JSDFLJF YIKES! I’m sorry and I’m glad that you don’t take game moves personally, you’re a great person and I’m glad that I’ve gotten to finally get to know the famous Jordan Pines!

Elsa - Eddiee!!! ): You were one of the few people who I talked to quite a bit during that inter-tribal shindig, and I was hoping you’d make it through that Tribal Council pre-merge. Ahhhh, I’m sorry things ended that way for you. Our iconic alliance is not over yet… just postponed (◡ ‿ ◡ ✿)

JC - eddie omggg another person I was sad to lose!! Thank you for trying to keep me safe :/

Nicholas - Eddie, cracked king! Honestly a few rounds before your vote off I would have definitely considered you my closest ally and I wanted to ride things out with you to the end of the game and honestly you weren’t even a target on the round you got voted off until you kept calling people and acting cracked. I still debate whether or not this was a good decision for me personally or not but either way what’s done is done and I’m sorry! I feel like you were very approachable and probably would have gone far had you made it further into the game. 

Ruthie - I’m sorry, you’re a great person and you really know Survivor so well. During that one challenge I felt like such a dingbat while you, Cole and Dom did all the work on call and I just sat there doodling in my notebook!!! It was fun and I’m glad I got the chance to play with you!

Elsa - Omg Rafael!! ): Yet another person I was sad to see leave so early. If I had had any clue that things were going to turn out the way they did, I’d have 100% told you. But sadly, I went to bed early that night and awelwkaj. I’m really sorry you had to be blindsided like that, and all because you decided to risk throwing someone’s name out. It’s a shame that some of the people you shared this info with leaked it and caused your elimination. You are a funny guy; I have fond memories of you trying to coach Emily through that puzzle challenge way back when and how much of a mess it was. Much love xxx

JC - RAFFYY :C I really liked you, you were so sweet!! I‘m sorry for voting you but I was in a tough place that week and needed to survive. 

Nicholas - Whew so we didn’t get to talk much in this game and that sucks! I feel like we never really got the chance to fully connect on a game level and I guess part of it is my fault since I was always studying or out when we tried to talk! Either way, you seemed like a really genuine person and player and you probably would have been a force to reckon with if you made it further into the game!

Ruthie - KING. I’m really sorry, I feel like crap for not like at least hinting things to you when you got voted out.  Survivor just puts like this HUGE fear in me and I don’t know what to do or say like EVER and then I go back and start feeling horrible LJSDFL. I’m sorry, I really like you and I’m glad that we’ve played together in several games, I hope that I’ll forever be your crackedt disney queen like I was in azores <3.

With only five left, immunity is more important than ever! The final five competed in a live challenge tonight. Here’s how it went down...

The five castaways competed in a game of Battleship, a challenge from Tintipan that caused a lot of drama at the final five. Before they started, a challenge disadvantage was used on Emily. 

Emily was out first, as Ruthie sunk her ship.

Then the other four guessed for a super long time without anyone sinking.

Finally, Elsa sunk Ruthie’s ship, and right after that, Nicholas sunk Elsa.

The final two of the challenge were JC and Nicholas. The two guessed back and forth for a while until....

Nicholas sunk JC. This means Nicholas has won his second individual immunity in a row, and will once again be safe for the vote!

JC, Elsa, Emily, and Ruthie...one of you will be the next person voted out of Island of Shade, and the eighth member of the jury. Votes are due to your host chat by 7:30 PM EST tomorrow, Sunday, December 10. If this is too early, please let us know and we will adjust.

First of all, congratulations on making the finale episode! Elsa, we’ll take back the Immunity Necklace.

This next challenge comes from Island of Shade: Normandy, and none of you have done it before (in this ORG). It’s not fun...it’s a bag of puzzles.

Your task is simple. You will attempt to complete as many of these puzzles as possible. As you complete them, you will send them to your host chat (feel free to set up a Google Doc which we can monitor, as that’s a bit easier). Whoever completes the most puzzles by 10 PM EST tomorrow will earn Individual Immunity and a spot in the final 5! In the event that more than one person completes all thirty puzzles, we will choose a puzzle at random and whoever got the lower time on that puzzle will earn Immunity.
