Watch the brand new trailer for the upcoming Netflix series “The Defenders”.
A story of four heroes dealing with their own personal challenges, who learn how effective they can be when teamed together.  Each individual has taken on criminals in New York on their own, but what’s to come next is something that cannot be done alone.

It seems like the Boston native can’t miss. Releasing his third project since 2015, Cousin Stizz is three for three. The “One Night Only” mixtape is classic Stizzy, delivering his mellow flow, over hypnotic beats. Cousin Stizz’s abilities consist of story telling, catchy hooks, and a laid back flow that you can’t help but vibe to. Cousin Stizz has been taking his shot at the rap game, and I wouldn’t hesitate to put the game in his hands. Familiar singles that dropped before the project itself such as “Jo Bros”, “Headlock”, and “Neimans Barneys”, shows his lyrical skill set, appeal on a hook, as well as his ability to make attractive hits. Take my word for it and enjoy the experience of “One Night Only”.

Why Spider-Man Homecoming is the “perfect” Spidey film.
Spider-Man Homecoming is the Spider-Man film we all deserve. Much respect to Tobey McGuire for his iconic portrayal of Spider-Man, as well as Andrew Garfield for a reboot that started off with much potential. However Tom Holland is the spitting image of Peter Parker we grew up loving in the comics. The film was directed by Jon Watts with a great cast, featuring Tom Holland (Peter Parker/Spider-Man), Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man), Marissa Tomei (May Parker), and Zendaya playing the eerie yet comical (Michelle). The film is a fast pace, and exciting film, mainly focusing on a high school teenager trying to balance out life as a superhero. Iron Man is his watchful mentor who doesn’t over shadow him in the film, and gives him a well needed reality check that every teenager needs. The film is something you can’t help but enjoy all the way through, there are a few emotional parts that really get you in your feelings, but for the most part it’s all exciting. The antagonist of the film (Adrian Toomes) played by Michael Keaton is portrayed excellent and his presence in the film, is definitely something you appreciate in the movie. If you think you’ve seen every version of Spider-Man you’re wrong. Marvel and Sony teamed up to create a version of the fan favorite hero no one has ever seen before. It is a perfect fit into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and is something all ages can enjoy. If you haven’t seen the web slinging hero in action yet, I advise you to buy a ticket to this great film as soon as possible. Also, be sure to stay until the very end for two post credit scenes, just be sure to have a little “patience”.

Vince Staples “Big Fish Theory” Album Review
Tumblr media
I’ve been a fan of Vince Staples since “Shyne Coldchain Vol 2″, and he has never failed to impress. Vince is one of those rappers who’s music has to grow on you because you might not understand it the first go around, and “Big Fish Theory” is exactly that. It released June 23rd, and I wasn’t sold after the first listen. The beats were different from previous Vince projects like “Summertime 06″ but the vibe was still irie. The more I got into the album, the more I began to appreciate the art. Tracks like “ Crabs in a Bucket”, “Love Can Be”, and “Party People” are not your average rap songs. They have these techno party vibes that you get lost into. He discusses politics, and social issues while flowing over beats that you might catch at an up tempo night club. While versatility is definitely a strong point on the album it was good to see him relate back to a more familiar rap vibe with songs like “745″, “Big Fish”, and “Bagbak”. Overall this is one of my favorite projects this year and definitely stood out the most to me. Delivery, versatility, conscious rap lyrics, and clever word play, “Big Fish Theory” is what you call ‘food for thought”. -Written by Introvertty
