He shifts slightly, rubbing the back of his neck. "I.. she don't need to know what happened to me. 'Least not right now. I already passed info to her about the hunters in the area."

He pauses a moment, pursing his lips before slowly shaking his head.

Hey yeah, does Adeline know about the whole Collin got kidnapped and tortured situation?

That makes the vamp pause, and he taps his fingers against his knee for a few moments before sighing. "Maybe? She usually finds out things pretty quickly, but I don't think anyone but Ronnie and Lake know what happened."

He waves a hand at you absently, curled up on the couch watching cartoons.

He doesn't react other than shifting slightly in his sleep.

He's curled on his side, passed out, when you appear.

He awkwardly pats your head then shrugs, curling up in his bed. "Hope you're right."

He frowns at you, then shakes his head with a sigh.

right... so it's also fine if they lied to you about working? methinks they're trying to avoid you

He just shakes his head with a sigh. "It's fine, kid."

He pauses, then sighs, rubbing his face. "..alright kid." Then he pushes himself slowly to his feet, limping back to his room.

Lake had been asleep since Collin had arrived, catching up on all that they'd missed while waiting. When they woke up alone, memories coming back to them, they panicked, which leads us to now, with Lake throwing open Collin's bedroom door and looking around frantically, afraid of what they might--or might not--find.

The vamp blinks, looking up from his sketchbook. "Hey, it's alright, kid. You're all good."
