so your event says that there will be random occurence posts happening but i have yet to see one. just wondering if we should expect those soon or if the staff have fallen short on that?

hi anon! while it was not our intention to have “fallen short” on adding the random occurrence posts, yes, we haven’t quite gotten to them yet. this portion of the event is still something that we were hoping we could get to, but we also couldn’t help but notice that people haven’t really been getting involved in it as thoroughly as we would have hoped. furthermore, if you read over the event information, you’ll notice that we said “If you have an active thread going on in the event (i.e. at least more than two posts), we will jump in on the Demogorgon account and write in an IC-prompt related to the "haunted" feeling of Old Man Latham's very old house.” as it stands, none of the threads in that event have more than two posts, and the last post in the event was on the 14th of march (officially a week ago). we hope you understand the fact that the lack of participation might be slightly less than encouraging to us. we promise you that if any of these threads begin to get more activity in them, we will be right on top of adding in this element.

Reservations will last 72 hours (3 days) and end at 11:59pm on the 3rd day.

are you guys going to do anything similar on here to the subplots you had on o&h??? :)

:’)))))) we’re all so glad you remembered those because honestly we enjoyed them quite a lot. however, we got a lot of mixed reactions to the prompt set up on o&h and we figured it would be a little bit more trouble than it’s worth this time around (especially since, in reality, they don’t always work out). but if there’s enough interest in them, it could be something that we consider working into future events, or possibly site-sanctioned quick requests for people who need some more things to occupy their characters! thank you for the ask

Will you be making an announcement once you've given out the site URL to those who participated in the contest?

We most certainly will! That way if somebody by chance did not receive the URL (and they participated), we can resolve the issue straight away.
