EMERGENCY PLEASE HELP!!

Wednesday, November 20th: Hello, everyone. I’m Gem, a bi, mentally ill, and disabled woman in desperate need of help, as I'm struggling to pay off my debt and get groceries!!

I apologize for asking for help again; as most of you know from my previous posts, I have been struggling quite a lot to make ends meet while on welfare benefits and due to my rent arrears and ever-increasing debt. And to be quite honest, these past few months have been absolute hell for me, and with no other income, I've been relying on the kindness of others to get by.

However I am in desperate need of that kindness again, as I couldn't pay my bills last month due to my rent arrears and utilities almost being switched off, and now due to avoiding creditor calls and red notices, it is at such an amount that I can't possibly pay off on my own, which has left me in desperate need of help. My PayPal is in the red by £180.89 and my bank acct is overdrawn by £129.31.

I will not receive my welfare until the 30th, which will be completely taken by these balances if I cannot clear them in time, meaning I won't be able to pay my rent!!

I know this is a lot to ask, but if anyone could spare any amount to help me, even if it’s just £1/$1/€1, it would save my life, and sharing definitely helps just as much.

Every year I try to celebrate my birthday in normal circumstances, but this year is different... Today I complete 15 years of life, but a life filled with killing, destruction, hunger, and loss and sick . This year was the hardest, I lost everything... my dreams, my hopes, and even my sense of security.

i think "it takes a village" shouldn't be just "to raise a child". we should understand it takes a village to do literally everything we do. all day every day. without our communities we would not have drinking water or electricity or clean streets or food or shelter or anything. we cannot do any thing alone. we just can't. and with that comes the fact that you are not alone. you already have a community, seek to be an active part of it, you will feel better. reach out and thank them, they're happy to have you too. i promise. it takes a village to live.

The funniest thing about how maids are depicted in a certain kind of fiction is that, like, at least half the time the people who ostensibly own the place don't even really seem to want them to be there? It's often genuinely unclear who their actual employer is, or whether they're getting paid at all – it's like looking at a universe where if you build a fancy enough house, maids just show up, like rats.

Last month my work was hit by a cyberattack. I missed some shifts and haven't been able to recover financially from that, so this month I'm still short for December rent.

On top of that my cat's hip dysplasia has gotten worse. It's normally manageable but in the past couple of days I haven't been able to pop her hips properly back into place. Usually it doesn't slow her down (Stop jumping off the furniture, you idiot beast!) but now she mostly lies around and doesn't move much. I made an appointment with the vet on the 28th of November, but I'm hoping I can get her in sooner.

I know I need at least $300 for rent and bills. I have no idea how much the vet will cost or whether my cat will need x-rays or an ultrasound or what. I'll start a new GFM as soon as I have the bill from the vet. In the meantime I'm going to circulate the link to the GFM I set up earlier.
