allow me to share my secret recipe to mimic taylor's camera for your own photos!

I have been OBSESSED with this pretty purple-orange warm, polaroid-style tone in taylor's photography since the days of swan and squad goals, and now we see it everywhere, in secret sessions photoshoots and outings with joe and afterparty pics.

I of course did a bunch of research & my best guess is that she uses an Olympus PEN E-PL7, which is, like, millions of dollars out of my price range.

SO I have concocted some recipes on vsco and instagram that kind of maybe a little bit? achieves a similar effect

I made some with both insta & vsco so you can try it, depending on which app you have!

sometimes I listen to soon you'll get better and it's unbearably mournful and desperate and I can't listen because I know what it's about and I relate it to my own life and my own loved ones...

I say this as someone who loves the love that taylor & joe share and loves to pull apart lyrics and wonder about their story but I think we need to stop interpreting every one of joe's posts as an easter egg or something cause like I know he supports our girl but he also is an actor/professional in his own right and we should respect that he's not just playing a supporting role in taylor's life

she's clearly happy that there are so many interpretations of her songs, and she's probably been writing even more inclusively since miss americana and all. but she's been clear that she's not part of the lgbtq community - and even if that's not true, it feels weird that half her fans are trying to out her on the daily. plus, this is folklore - the song can be gay without us insisting it's proof taylor's been lying about her sexuality !!

i haven't even heard the album and i'm so proud of how she is blazing a path for herself as a mature adult musician ... like ... imagine the rest of her career, just pushing forward in whatever direction she wants, dropping albums whenever she wants, writing whatever songs she wants, breaking into whatever genre she wants, & basically flexing on the world that has consistently doubted her that she can write 16 album-worthy songs in mere months, break records with overnight drops, and still protect her private life, maintain fulfilling relationships, & remain true to who she is ... an absolute role model since the very beginning & i can't wait for all the next chapters
