Glass Project Part 1: Using googles convolutional neural network (DeepDream) and Blender to create a cylinder shape based on van Gogh's brush strokes. -> 3D print -> plaster mould -> terra cotta slip cast
Next step: Plaster+Quartz mould for glass casting to make it into a proper whiskey glass!

Our brewery masterclass is in full swing. James from @howlinghops is taking us through the whole process, James and Mike From UCL Biochemical engineering department are providing the equipment and science. @elliedoney is providing historical and wierd #beerfacts . Members from all over UCL are in attendance, some interested in the science, some want to home-brew, and Melvin here wants to start his own microbrewery!

Third laser piece: Celtic knots represent infinity in their endlessly twisting delicate patterns - this piece completes a triad all made from the same piece of black walnut and inlaid with birch (treated with wax, leaving a lighter finish)
