Glass Project Part 1: Using googles convolutional neural network (DeepDream) and Blender to create a cylinder shape based on van Gogh's brush strokes. -> 3D print -> plaster mould -> terra cotta slip cast

Next step: Plaster+Quartz mould for glass casting to make it into a proper whiskey glass!

Panagiotis has bought this colossal sculpture of the god Apollo in Greece, and is making a silicone mould. He'll be casting multiple heads in plaster for an installation as part of a performance at the Slade MA show.

Third laser piece: Celtic knots represent infinity in their endlessly twisting delicate patterns - this piece completes a triad all made from the same piece of black walnut and inlaid with birch (treated with wax, leaving a lighter finish)

Second laser project: inspired by the intricate geometry common to Islamic art, this piece is also black walnut engraved and inlaid with birch - the darker finish is the result of olive oil
