I hate how we are all ashamed! All the time!
I go out with my friends and I'm the leader of the pack, someone makes a joke about me being the shy one. Something like, 'why are you the brave one?'
I immediately push the pull door. I'm not ashamed, but they laugh like I should be. Why? Why, girls?
Relax. We're all human here! Stop being so afraid to live! You are allowed to make mistakes!
(We were all young, shy girls, which maybe explains the silliness and awkwardness of this situation)

when you come after gender non comforming people you come after feminism. feminism asks that women be allowed to exist without doing all this work. you cannot truly be feminist and transphobic
isn't it crazy that a woman being gender nonconforming literally just requires her to exist in her own body without making any changes whatsoever. why does the fact that i don't wear makeup and i don't shave and i don't wear a bra have to be some political act. why can't i just fucking exist

What do we think this is?
Is it Capitalisms narrative, that if you put in the work, try your best, somebody will see and reward you, give you a better job?
Is it an unconscious idea that the universe will balance, that you can't suffer forever, sometime something good will have to happen for you?
I would love to highlight, "the only lesson i learned from suffering is that i dont want other people to suffer." Why is it always, 'dont inflict suffering on others, one day you'll be suffering too and you'll wish your oppressors weren't so cruel'? So many childrens books have this same message, repeated in so many different ways. Why is it never, 'dont inflict suffering because suffering hurts'?
Do you get what I'm saying?

It really fucking is all misogyny isn't it
Every fucking thread of transphobia goes back to a fundamental need to cement completely immutable sex categories so cis men can assert themselves as superior on some level
Trans women are seen as perverse degradations of the male ideal, people who "chose" womanhood, who are read as women for persecution but not for protection, who are sexualized and assaulted the same as any woman. "Choosing" womanhood is so unthinkable in our misogynist society that brains scramble to think of why anyone would do it, and every trans woman is living proof that womanhood is empowering
Trans men aren't allowed in the club, because if masculinity can be "earned" instead of granted, it implies that men aren't intrinsically superior but made and maintained, and that someone who could have been a good little baby maker housewife realizes that that's not the fate they want
It's so fucking like. Basic shit. 101. How is it difficult. I'm sorry but I just. Fuck. How is this hard.

Nuance time everyone.
They also didn't travel. How many vaccines would we need, in this modern era, if we didn't have contact around the world? When the settlers came to Cananda, seventy-five percent of the indigenous population died. If we didn't have contact with China, covid wouldn't have happened here. It still would have been a massive tragedy, but it wouldn't have been worldwide.
Without real travel, our kids wouldn't die as much. Their immune systems would be prepared for sicknesses in their area, generaly speaking.
When the medical industry took over for the midwives, the survival rate of child and mother went down hill very fast. Before this, our kids weren't dying at such an alarming rate.
Bonus fact (!!): when the medical industry took over the birthing process, the average life expectancy went down because so many babies were dying. Our life expectancy-for all of recorded history, at least-hasn't gone up.

no because language doesnt work properly around they/them. they/them are plural pronouns, you dont say 'they is', you say 'they are'. you do, however, say 'she is'. they/them is plural before it's ambiguous. it is used so rarely in ambiguous situations (where you dont know the gender) that you format the rest of the sentence in plural, even when the subject is singular. 'they is' is never correct, even when the they in question is only one person.
maybe we should just start saying 'they is' (i jest. (unless you think its a good idea))
it/its solves this problem but is usually reserved for the inanimite or the monstrous. more people should consider it/its
No hate to the non-bianaries i just wanted to inform you all. I love the chaotic energy of: yes i am neither gender and also there are more of me than there are of you
did you notice?
I switched from 'are' to 'is' when refering to they/them pronouns. depending on if i could have replaced they/them with 'non-bianry pronouns' or with just 'they' (or 'them')
chat is they/them plural or singular. like. as pronouns
LOVE AND PEACE FOR IT/ITS PRONOUNS
