Revisiting Naruto is a weird experience. On one hand a lot of fun and I still love this show, but on the other so painful. So many questionable writing choices. And it just feels like a deeply insecure show. Like if a girl is strong it feels emasculated lol

I love you, Sakura, you deserved to be in a better show that doesn’t treat you like a laughing stock.

I think this shows you what I meant about Tenten’s colour. Both Ino and Hinata are shades of purple, and Sakura is pink/red. I’m all for matching colours, but to be it would just look unconsidered. Plus I’m intending to add both Temari and Karin to this, and Karin has both red and purple, leaving Temari to stick out in black. I’m overthinking it.

Also putting them all together allows me to keep track on proportions and avoid same face syndrome. I think I’m in the clear for now.

I just wanna add that, unlike my Miraculous redesigns, I’m not doing these because I think the original designs are bad. Quite the opposite, I think the Naruto girls look fantastic. Especially considering when it was made and how women looked in its contemporaries. Aka boobs first, clothing second. The fact that the girls in this series are dressed appropriately and each looking unique (with different body types) is genuinely fantastic. And everybody had a unique style. I’m doing these “redesigns” just for fun, and to explore how they’d look in my style.

I know that Tenten’s colour is red, but I couldn’t help but notice that there’s a lot of red and purple in the girl’s designs, and I wanted her to stand out. +she’s in Team Gai, gotta rep the green +I’ll always associate her with an old af fanfiction called “Little Green Leaf” that I don’t even know if it’s still on the internet, but holy shit it was fantastic. Did Tenten’s character better than the whole canon series + Boruto combined. In like 8 Chapters. It’s so good. So she green

And what’s with that dark patch on her chest? Well this Tenten specializes in archery, so she needs a chest guard. After her loss against Temari, she realizes that she’s spread herself too thin. A master of none. So she focuses on archery combined with her ninja scrolls.

And then the rest of her story is about grief and moving on from the death of a loved one. Neji would die at the end of Part 1, and we’d get to experience the succeeding fallout. Love you, Neji, but you could have died earlier considering how little you did Shippuden.

About G3 Abbey Bominable.

Yes she has bottom fangs/ tusks they are listed on her character sheet. They just don’t show when her mouth is closed in her 3-D model just as Draculaura & Clawdeen’s fangs don’t show when their mouth is closed. The doll will have them.

Abbey is not fat, she is average, maybe a little on the thick side of average but average nonetheless And It would be okay if she was fat, but she isn’t.

Fat is not a bad thing.

I see all of you thirsting over Abbey’s mama in the notes and….. you’re right too! She’s a brick! …. HOUSE!

People who are mad she’s no longer Russian: look, Russia is the biggest country in Asia landmass wise. It’s entirely possible her nationality is still Russian BUT! Yeti’s are very specific geologically and originate in Nepal therefore Abbey having an indian ethnicity with a Nepali accent is MORE correct for her character than her precious Mother Russia iteration.

I liked her being Russian but it wasn’t correct.

Also people saying they want her to be fuzzy, 2 things: her G1 counterpart was not fuzzy in the slightest she just wore a lot of fur. Her doll will probably have the molded on fur tufts like Clawdeen has, her G2 dolls did.

Update: Abbey had 2 G2 dolls! “Dance The Fright Away” and “Party Ghouls” and IMHO her Party Ghouls doll is one of the best outfits she ever got.
