He doesn’t flinch.
He doesn’t pull away.
He leans in to her touch.
And it was exactly what he needed from her at this moment.

I think it's fine, that Norman believes that Carol for Daryl is all his beloved women, which he never had before in his life.
Stop blaming Norman Reedus for the rude anon’s. How the anon’s interpret his words isn’t his problem. He has already said that Daryl and Carol definitely don’t have a mother and son relationship. When he said “ it was like a little kid seeing his mom again ” I’m thinking he meant that Daryl himself seemed like a little kid, meaning the vulnerability. The abandonment issues came at a rise when Morgan said Carol “ just left ”. With no explanation or goodbye.
The fact that he’s getting attacked is appalling. I’m a Caryl shipper. I understood what he meant. Because I’ve also heard him say Carol’s not his mom, obviously.
People seem to forget that in No Santurary, when he reunited with Carol, he said it was like a little kid running to his sister AND, in Season 5, when he told Carol she looked ridiculous, it was like a little kid teasing a girl he liked.
He’s not being literal. If that were the case, then Carol would be his mom, his sister AND a girl that he likes?
It’s like y'all expect perfection from people who are famous that you forget that they are just simply a human too.

what I love about Josh McDermitt is how humble and funny he is. I’ve seen him at two conventions and he’s so appreciative of everyone, and loves to make people smile. This dude is the best.

i joked but if this really means a TRUE PAIRING?   You know, some people thinks that  Angel-guard is on our right shoulder. Daryl nuzzles and kisses her angel-guard
Maybe it's far-fetched, but I still'll put in my two cents

Storytelling 101
TPTB could have just reunited Carol and Daryl in a much simpler, straightforward way. It could have just been Daryl checking in on his close friend because he found out where she was staying. That would be the least amount of story required for them at this point. But no. They went overboard. They went so much farther than they had to. And they used the oldest tricks in the book to intensify, zoom in and give weight to it:
Foreshadowing: They had Daryl bring up Carol’s absence in a heated outburst with Morgan, foreshadowing how he would later lie to her in order to ensure that she doesn’t do exactly that.
Irony: They created an entire plot line with Richard, containing several scenes, solely to demonstrate how much Carol means to Daryl. They used irony to involve Daryl in a plot that in reality is the last thing he would ever do. Suspense and rage all building up to the lone fact that Daryl will do whatever is humanly possible to protect Carol.
Contrast: They reunited Carol and Daryl in probably the most heart-breaking and bittersweet way possible. They used contrast to show the difference between Daryl’s growling “don’t fuck with me or I’ll kill you” persona in one scene, immediately to Daryl’s complete vulnerability around Carol, physically being on the brink of tears as he puts himself completely on the line and asks why she left.
Tension: They formed a new, unresolved storyline that creates narrative tension between them: Daryl lying to Carol, something that will clearly  come into play later in the story, yet motivated by his completely all-encompassing, selfless desire to do anything in his power to protect her.
Mentor figure: In a story, a “mentor” functions to help another character realize something about themselves. Morgan forces Daryl to become aware of what he’s “holding on to”, and clarifies for the audience that Daryl just sacrificed the potential golden ticket to winning a literal war against the people who captured and tortured him, all to keep one person safe: Carol.
You know why many of us feel somewhat blue right now? Because the writers just took us through a storyline that is meant to create feelings of unresolved tension, and put us in a precarious position. There is unfinished business to be resolved.
So remember, just because you’re not feeling complete and utter giddy joy over 7x10 doesn’t mean you’re not Caryling hard enough. It means you’re reacting to the story exactly as you’re supposed to. But make no mistake! Daryl and Carol have just been deliberately moved to another level of their relationship. You don’t dedicate multiple plotlines of an episode with the sole purpose of showing how much one character cares about another, without it being purposeful.
