yeah, this is my pet knight, she's a rescue. i gave her a brief act of mercy and she followed me home and sat outside my door to guard me from intruders. she swore her undying allegiance to me in exchange for a gift of grace and now she sleeps at the foot of my bed and weeps when im late coming home. and yeah, she only eats wet food because she's a snob, also.

also i gotta say. transmasc sonic has nothing to do with metal. sonic could be cis and transfem metal still works. sonic could be transfem and she works! sonic could transition before or after she does, doesnt matter, just means her revised justification for why she's better/more true/needs to kill sonic so bad is slightly different.

I love when characters lie. you can learn so much about them even when they're not telling you. dissecting the lie is more fun than taking anything they might say at face value. figuring out their motivations... what they're trying to achieve... are they guilty? do they regret it? did they lie gleefully?

Ultra-specific trope im thinking really hard about: When a character refuses to kill someone who asks them to, not out of righteousness or any care for the other person, but out of hostility or spite. No, I won’t give you what you want. I won’t let you escape this through death.
